I agree with the other reviewers: this takes down the perfect amount of bulk without being greasy. It smells very coconutty and makes my hair soft. I noticed that it contains a bit of castor oil, which is good for your hair. I leave it in a bun at night and it gives me really cool looking waves. It does have some slight hold, but nothing dramatic. I seem to view this as more of a leave-in conditioner. You get a good sized bottle for less than five bucks.

so my hair is thick, naturally wavy, and frizzy. It looks terrible airdried, or rained on, etc. You get the picture. With my blowdryer and round brush, it's much more controlled and smooth. But still, it never really feels very *soft* in general or you know, sexy, unless I put in tons of product and condition the heck out of it, etc.

So I found this item in the clearance bin: relaxed and natural conditioning setting lotion by pantene. Yes, it's for ethnic relaxed hair, before you wrap it at night. I figured, for $2, what the heck. I'm into trying everything, it said softens and conditions hair, protects it from heat styling too, adds shine. A conditioning spray basically marketed to african american hair. You know how pantene keeps repackaging same formulations in different bottles with different names.

Well, I tried it. On damp hair, before heat styling. And you know, MUA reviews were right!! It's not a hairspray, it gives hair some weight, makes it softer, shinier, it really does "flow" better! If you see it, try it out. Anyone with coarser thick hair prone to frizz can benefit from this.

This stuff is amazing!! I love how it kinda "straightens" my hair, so it's not as thick after washing. Although, I'm not completly sure if I used it correctly. I spary it all over my shampooed&conditioned hair then proceed to blow dry. Sometimes I let it sit for a while. In all honesty I would much rather prefer a cream of sorts because the spray never seems to cover all my thick hair. Either the spray isnt affective enough or I havnt sprayed enough. I havnt tried this with a straihtener yet but that seems like a good idea to me, so i will! I'll definatly repurchase but still be searching for my HG!!

This made my hair sooo soft! The only thing is if you apply it everyday & don't wash your hair everyday like me, you're hair is not as light and flowy as it was. Not a problem, but it makes my bangs look less moveable in the wind. But really helps with keeping your hair tamed, great leave in conditioner and not greasy at all! Great as a setting lotion tooo!

I bought this when I needed a leave-in conditioning something and I couldn't find my Thermasilk heat-activated leave-in conditioner anywhere.. this moisturizes my very curly hair really well, there was a very noticeable difference in the softness of my hair but the thing is that I think this wasn't compatible with a moisturizing cream I use which really prevents frizz and for that I don't think I'll be using it too often for blowdrying... I think it would be great though for when I decide to leave my hair curly so for that I would buy it again. This comes in a spray bottle and what bugs me is that the mist is just to wide(?) which is not great when you want to use it in a particular section of your hair while blowdrying. :)
