This was the first product I tried from the Ole Henrickson line. My face is on the dry side... especially in the winter. I absolutely LOVE this moisturizer. The texture and the scent are wonderful. It sinks right into your skin without leaving a greasy film. My face is soft and my complexion is clear when I wake in the morning (I use this day and night). This has become my HG moisturizer... I have repurchased it twice. I have tried a couple of other Ole Henrickson moisturizers as well and I love them too!

I have very dry skin with roseacea and was recommended this product at Sephora. The sample wasn't large enough to really show me anything, but the smell was what drew me in. It smells like an orange creamsicle, so it's very sweet and pungent. That might not be a good thing for some, but it was a great thing for me. Smell aside, the moisturizer does its job in the moisturizing department; my face isn't dry and there are no dry patches to be seen. BUT the redness is still there, although it may have gone down just a tiny bit. When I am spending $40 on some face cream, I expect it to do exactly everything that it sells itself on, so just a little redness reduction is a no no. Regardless of that little fact, it's still a damn fine moisturizer for dry skin.

I love this moisturizer! It seems to be the older I get, the worse my skin gets. Not fun! This was suggested to me because I went in looking for a new moisturizer as my old one just seemed to be drying me out. My skin was very red and extremely dry. He told me that I might need to see a dermatologist if this lotion didn't help. The good news is that I don't need to go! This lotion has calmed my skin down and made it comfortable again. It does tingle when I first put it on, but it goes away pretty quick. I love the smell, doesn't smell full of chemicals. It sinks into my skin pretty quick so I only wait a few minutes before applying my makeup. My skin feels moisturized without feeling greasy. This hasn't caused any breakouts. I guess my only complaint is that I wish it came with a pump to dispense. I like that they use the glass container, but I feel like I might be wasting a little when I get it with my fingers. Other than that, I LOVE this and will definitely be buying this again. Also, this is my first product from Ole Henriksen and because I lobe it so much, I'm going to give some of their other products a try :)

I accidently bought this, thinking it would be good for my combination, acne prone skin. (it's for sensitive skin/rosacea) I even used it a few times before I realized it wasn't meant for my skin type, but I decided to see if it would be helpful to me.
It took a while to notice any difference. At first I hated it. The smell was so overpoweringly sweet, it was almost unbearable. I'm not sure I really got used to the smell, but i learned how to ignore it. I was worried because it was so thick, and I usually use light gel cream moisturizers (again, I thought this was a gel cream). I kept on using it, and slowly I saw a difference. My skin wasn't red, my breakouts had significantly improved, my skin was bright, it even seemed to glow! I stopped wearing tinted moisturizer everyday!
I finished the bottle, but I didn't buy it again. Why? Because it was too thick for my skin type, and it made my skin oilier. It's also pretty expensive. I'm only 16, I'm certainly not made of money, and I can't afford to constantly replace this. I also hate jars. I would definitely recommend this fr drier/normal/sensitive skin types of for those with rosacea. No doubt it's a great product.

I bought this because it sounded like it would be good for my dry, sensitive-ish skin. I normally use Alba botanica sea plus (now called even advance) as a night cream (and day too actually). I thought I'd step up to an expensive brand and see how much better they are. This one was a total fail. First of all, despite the name and description, there is nothing soothing about this for me! The smell is so harsh, it completely irritated my skin. Not just slightly but actually burning type irritation. I don't know for sure it's the fragrance but since it has such a strong smell, that may be the culprit. It absorbs quickly, which you might think is good but within minutes, it's like I never applied moisturizer, plus my skin feels irritated and burns as if I put alcohol on it. I am not even the most sensitive skin person, really. It baffles me that this is marketed for sensitive skin when it was so irritating for me. I sent it back and am back to my tried and true Alba.

At first I wasn't pleased with this moisturizer because I felt it was way to expensive to do nothing good for my skin except for excellent moisture. My skin was still breaking out and after 1,5 month I decided to leave it alone. Then I used a different moisturizer for about 2 months, and my skin was still the same. But when I ran out of the second one, I gave Ole H. another try. I found out that it was my primer that broke me out, and I stopped using it. Now I have no breakouts and my skin is deeply hydrated and feels soft and silky. It even helps control my oiliness on my nose, even though it is a rich cream. I'm sorry Ole for doubting you in the beginning, you're my danish hero!

This moisturizer is very rich and it smells amazing. The only thing about this moisturizer is that it's awesome in the winter time, but is a little to rich for the summer time.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Combination, Medium Hair: Black Eyes: Brown
Generally speaking, it's a great product. It is very moisturizing yet not make my shine. The only con with it is that it gets oil in afternoons, so I still need to apply oil control products. If you have combination skin type as I do, you might still have to mattify your skin 1-2 times per day.

does not break me out.
like the texture
good for sensitive skin.
possible irritant with the silicone and other things.. but its mild
open jar susceptible to contamination

I have extremely combination skin complete with rosacea and recurring breakouts. To top that off, my skin is quite fair, so redness and breakouts are a beacon of terror. While this doesn't fix redness and breakouts, it also does nothing to exacerbate the problem, and is consistently gentle and comforting to wear. After my face gets over the initial "OMGZZZ U TOUCHED ME!" and settles down a bit, I notice there is a difference between wearing this moisturizer and (insert other moisturizers here) as far as redness goes. Finding a cream that hasn't caused more issues than it's fixed has been a major project in my life to date, so suffice it to say I'm pretty thrilled with my results so far.
On first application, I was a little freaked out that it might be too heavy. The moisturizer is a creamy-gel, emphasis on the creamy part, and is a bit heavier (yeah, really) than what I'd been using previously. The initial application made me leery, and I was convinced I would come back and see myself with oil all but dripping down my face in a few hours.
However, the opposite happened. I don't really know how, because it seems like some kind of voodoo magic, but this adequately moisturizes my wicked-dry areas and controls (yes, really!!) my t-zone. My entire face, even multiple hours after application without using any type of powder or blotter, is still in a reasonable state. With other moisturizers, that doesn't happen. EVER. Possible HG status, but I'm going to give it a little bit longer just to be sure.
I don't know if I can attribute this soley to Nurture Me, since I started using other products somewhat recently too, but I was able to leave the house feeling comfortable wearing *no* foundation/concealer/powder recently... something I haven't been comfortable doing for years.
I've now used this product for about a month every morning and am less than 25% of the way through the jar, so it really lasts. The scent of this stuff is worth commenting on, too. In my opinion, it smells pretty darn good, and makes putting on moisturizer a little bit more fun. The fragrance doesn't seem to annoy my super sensitive skin at all.
Only downside is the packaging... I hate jars... I wish Ole would move away from them.
Edit: Two+ months of daily use and still absolutely loving it. This is my HG moisturizer. FINALLY!

So I got a very generous sample of this at Sephora and I love this as my face during the winter gets dry lil patches around my cheeks ,what i like bout it is that it gives me moisture where I need it w/o making my tzone oily (being that my tzone is oily ) Its also very light n applys very smooth n soaks right into the skin ;0) i dont mind the smell of the product at all makes no diffrence to me as I love the product on my skin !!!!! will be buying the full size this weekend

Got it on a whim because I needed a new moisturizer, fast.
It's for 'sensitive/rosacea' skin, and I agree with sensitive part but didn't help much with rosacea.
I love the result - better than any others I've tried, although not "OMG shocking..changed my life" level.
It's creamy but super light, and super moisturizing.
Only negative factor was the orange creamsicle scent, which I hate hate hate. It smells cheap, fake and just wrong for a face cream.
But I see that it doesn't offend others, so I didn't reflect my hatred against the smell on my rating.
summary: if you are okay with the scent....it's a must try for sensitive skins.

I went shopping for a new moisturizer at Sephora. The representative was very knowledgeable in skincare. Living in Utah, the winters get very cold and dry. She recommended this moisturizer and gave me a generous sample. I have used i for two nights now and I love it. I will update this review after more use. I have problematic skin and this hasn't given me any problems. It is very nourishing and I just have to add that i LOVE the orange creamsicle scent.

At Sephora one day there was an OH rep and I got to talking with her. She gave me a generous sample and I tried it. Needless to say, days later I went back to Sephora and purchased the full size jar. It was winter and I am a snowboarder so this worked very well after a day out in the elements. I have combo skin but this was not greasy at all...my skin just felt replenished. It is a really lovely cream with a light orange/citrus scent that just sinks right in but still leaves a "dewy" feel to the skin. I use it in the summer as well after a day out in the sun. Makes my skin looks and feel softer. The price is pretty decent compared to lot of my other products and there is nothing in there to cause breakouts. I don't use this every day, only when I feel my skin needs a little recovery. When I run out which will take me quite a while, I will definitely repurchase.

[EDIT] Due to the dimethicone in the product, I would recommend applying this moisturiser as the last step to your skincare. Dimethicone is used in primers and it acts like a barrier thus you should apply your serums (things with active ingredients) so that those can penetrate first before sealing it all in with this moisturiser. [/EDIT]
My favorite moisturizer! I have combination dry skin that gets oily on the center of my face. I use this day and night massaging it on my skin in a circular motion so it can penetrate deeper into the skin. This creme is lightweight, hydrating, paraben-free, absorbs quickly, smells yummy (sweet orange) and is just amazing! It hydrates my skin well yet providing a semi-matte finish on my skin, leaving an amazing glow! It tingles my skin but it doesn't sting. This doesn't break me out either or make my skin oily. The con about this moisturizer is that you get 1.07oz of product that cost $40, which is pretty expensive and it comes in a jar which isn't suitable for traveling.
Nuture Me contains Dimethicone, a silicon fluid which adds smoothness to the moisturizer (if you are allergic to silicon, I don't recommend this product!), wheat germn oil which nourishes and protects, evening primerose oil which is an emollient that has strengthening and healing properties, chamomile extract which softens and soothes skin, and vitamins A, C, & K which all have rengerative, anti-oxidant, astringent and pore-tightening evidence. It has a good mixture of synthetic ingredients and natural, botanical extracts.

Surprised to see the so-so reviews. This really performed well for me. I'll be sticking with this for a while. It's a cremesicle scented and colored creme. I generally use it over the Truth Serum. It hydrates me skin and plumps it, and makes me look healthy, espeicially if I am low on sleep.
My skin type is oily and aging.

This seems to have mixed reviews. I like it. I find the smell good, but def. not my fav. The texture of it is awesome. I love how it sinks right in and doesn't feel greasy and sticky. I didn't notice any burning or irritation, which my skin def. reacts to some products, although my skin isn't super sensitive, just mildly so. If you don't want silicone in your moisturizer, then I would not recommend this product as it's one of the main ingredients. Other than that, this stuff is pretty good. Just not sure if I love it, esp. for $40, but I haven't found a moisturizer yet that I love.

This cream didn't wow me in any way. I quite like the Truth Serum for its moisturizing properties, so I thought I'd follow up with a moisturizer from OH on top, and chose this one for my dryish, a bit sensitive skin. Well, it does a decent job at moisturizing, at least now in summer, when my skin is not a pure desert. In winter, only my Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Balance will do the trick. It sinks in quickly and leaves behind a matte, siliconey surface. What I don't like, is the pungent scent of some sort of children's orange-flavoured candy. It smells cheap, and the smell lingers. I prefer my skincare products to be decently scented, so that is a big NO from me. I wll use it up unless I get an adverse reaction, but I won't repurchase.

I got this as a sample and the Sephora girl told me it's good for sensitive skin... Im so glad I didn't buy this product because as soon as I put it on my face, I felt a burning sensation n few minutes later redness appear around my cheek. I thought it was me so I try it again the next night, same thing happened, but wait it's worse now my face burn especialy around the nose and cheek area... I guess im having an allergic reaction to this cream.

I switched from using Korres products to Ole Henriksen. After having major breakouts from using new MAC products, my skin was HORRIBLE. Using the following steps, my skin was healed in about 2 weeks.
Twice a day (Morning, Night) I do the following:
1) Wash face with OH Apricot Cleansing Lotion
2) Use OH Balancing Cucumber Skin Tonic
3) OH Nurture Me Soothing Creme
(4) Twice a week, I use the OH New Beginning Scrub
NOTE: I have combination/dry skin...with dry, scaly patches on my cheeks & around my mouth. OH products have helped tame my skin & although my skin is still not perfect, it is ALOT better than it before using OH products.
