My HG! body lotion...goes on smoothly....does give a lil brightening effect...the consistency of the lotion is amazing...gets easily absorbed...overall a good product..definitely meets all my needs...

I was not impressed with the result, no dramatic change after months of usage and it did not hydrate my skin well..the smell is not pleasant as it is rather strong..so far was impressed by watson's sakura body lotion which moisturises my skin and i felt relaxed with the flower scent

The skin of my neck has always been darker than my face and the rest of my body, which has bother me my whole life.

Anyways I've been using this for 2 months only in the area of my neck and there's no difference, no results, doesn't work for me. etc.

Waste of money because this isn't even a good lotion, it doesn't moisturize very well and the smell is annoying.

I think this bottle of whitening lotion does work for me. I didn't have crazy fair skin awhile ago due to walking in the sun a lot, but after using this, my friends would say my skin is 'too white'. So I guess this works. Nowadays I'll only use it on my arms and legs, which are most often exposed to the sun. I live in a humid country, so this lotion isn't too 'watery', and I kind of think it's a bit creamy for the weather here! :D

I started using this product 2 months ago, and for me it's better than other lotions within its price range.
I can't see any whitening result, but I think it maintains my skin tone. It's also not that moisturizing but not oily and I don't feel irritated at all. It's kinda mild, so I don't worry about adverse effects on skin after a long term use.

i bought two big bottles of this, hoping to lighten up my skin. but no results at all. ive been using it for a few months. it doesnt even moisterize my skin, so i have to use it every 5 minutes or add another lotion. i would not recommend this lotion for moisturizing and/or whitening. only pro is the scent is nice

i was a bit put off with the consistency of the lotion.
It was quite watery. I was not too sure about the whitening effect but it does it job in moisturizing my body.
Use it after shower. smells nice.

This is a pretty thin light lotion. I did not notice any significant whitening effects from this one. As I didn't expect great whitening results, I can't say I'm disappointed there. However it does a poor job moisturising as well! I have slightly dry skin, and it feels as if only half of the lotion gets absorbed. The other half of it evaporates off, leaving my skin feeling dry again after just 10 minutes. More suitable for people with normal skin looking for very light hydration and (possibly) some whitening effects.

HATE! yes, H-A-T-E!

I was wearing 3/4 shorts out to the beach and i had a pretty uneven tann (1/2 my legs were fair and the rest that was exposed where burnt and very tanned). So i decided to try Nivea and after a month my skin wasn't fairer but becam more translucent. what i mean by translucent is that u can see the viens under my skin.. though the skin tone still remained the way it was on the first day i got tanned.

ARGH................

No whitening seen, but this moisturises fine. The packaging is quite lousy as the bottle doesn't retain its shape after repeated pumping. It gets sucked in and can't stand on its own after a while.

I'm on my second bottle of this product and it is fantastic. Application is key as is with all products. I use this product everywhere, even on my face before bed. It doesn't whiten per se but it does even out my freckled skintone with pink and yellow undertones.

Application:
1. Wash and/or exfoliate face and body and pat dry with towel.
2. Immediately after patting dry and skin is still moist, rub the Nivea cream lightly into skin. A little goes a long way.

I use the cream every day but prefer to use it only at night. It's a wonderful moisturizer for people that exfoliate 3 times a week or that give themselves Lactic Peels at home. It's a very gentle product and you will definitely see results.

Using on dry skin that is not dampened with water is a no-no because the cream ill just sit there. Nothing will help it absorb into the skin. Moist is the vehicle for thsi product. Love it!

i agree that the whitenning result is not very visible, maybe you can see it after a long time
but i gives moist, and sunscreen
also, it absorbs well, and has a very nivea smell
i'll buy it again, it's cheap and nice

It smells great to me and provides enough moisture. I think it does help in whitening as in it doesn't make you any fairer but evens out your natural skintone. However, you've got to be consistent and use it for long-term before you start seeing results.

I bought a sample size of this for travelling. The texture of this lotion is really soft, in between whipped cream and margarine in a tub. The scent is so so. I haven't detected any whitening effect as yet. That said, it's not too expensive and it melts into skin quite quickly. An average product, nothing special but nothing bad about it either, hence 3 lippies.


UPDATE: This stuff itches! I don't know what I'm allergic to in it, but it makes my skin itch terribly.


No more Nivea products for me.

I like this as an everyday body lotion because it’s light and easily absorbed - perfect for the humid tropics. Plus it's cheap, doesn't have a strong fragrance that competes with my perfume, and it comes in a tall pump bottle which is convenient and hygenic. It didn’t do anything to lighten the marks on my legs, but honestly I didn’t have high hopes in this department. I have repurchased as it's a good basic body lotion.

This is too oily for my body. Doesn't moisturize well and doesn't whiten as it claim it will. It causes some pimple on my back as well...my body feel itch when using this. Won't repurchase.

doesnt whiten very well, and i HATE this smell... its different from the firming lotion and night lotions... i cant quite put my finger to it. its not moisturizing or soothing enough for dry skin. this lotion has the power to overwhelm any perfume i spray on

This is a pretty good moisturising product and I like the non-greasy feel after application.However,as for the whitening effect,I cant really say much about it as it is not very significant.would not repurchase as a whitening lotion,but maybe for the moisturising effect and nice fragrance,
