KHAK!!! I COULD NOT BELIEVE THIS WAS CALLED GENTLE. IT WAS SO DRYING TO MY FACE THAT I COULDN'T SMILE. I LOVE OTHER LINDA SY PRODUCTS SO I WAS VERY SUPRISED. THE MOST WONDERFUL STUFF IS THE BODY AND FACE OIL. IT CONTAINS JOJOBA AND SAFFLOWER OILS, SO IF YOU RUN OUT OF PAM AND YOU ARE IN A HURRY TO MAKE A PIE FOR COMPANY WHIP OUT YOUR WONDERFUL LINDA SY OIL! HA HA. BUT SERIOUSLY, THE GENTLE OATMEAL JUNK IS HARSH AND DRYING TO THE SUPPOSED FRAGILE SKIN THE COMPANY CLAIMS TO CATER TO.

Caveat: I have only used a sample of this. It's gentle enough, I like the fact it has no fragrance (actually it smells nice), and it does foam just a bit when massaged in; cleanses well; however, the exfoliating claims are probably rubbish and it does leave my face feeling tight - to me that means it is too harsh. My heartache-inducingly expensive Chantecaille cleansing milk (to which I hoped this might be a decent replacement) does not leave my face feeling at all tight and it cleanses very well while feeling like a treat for my skin. I have had to minimise the use of moisturisers due to hypersensitivity, so I cannot do with a cleanser that requires liberal moisturising afterwards. Will stick to Chantecaille.

I did not like this at all. It felt harsh on my skin and had a detergent-ey smell. It made my skin a little dry and tight even though I rinsed with lukewarm (not hot) water. Rinses clean away but doesn't leave my skin feeling good.

Excellent, excellent cleanser. I still love my SSC glycolic cleanser at night but since it's winter time and my face has been flaky, I've been using the Oatmeal cleanser in the AM. I like it alot. My daughter who also is prone to dermatitis loves it. Here are the ingredients: Purified water, Colloidal oatmeal, Methylgluceth-20, Decyl glucoside, Sodium acrylates/C10-30 alkyl acrylates crosspolymer, Sodium hydroxymethyl glycinate, Sodium PCA, Methylparaben, Disodium EDTA, Propylparaben.

I really like this cleanser. It is gentle and non-fragranced and cleans well. I really like the oatmeal smell it has.

I'm using a sample of this. After the first use, I almost quit with it because it seemed kind of drying for what is supposed to be a cleanser for rosacea and sensitive skin. But I've been using it every night for several nights now, and my skin seems to like it better. It is like a runny lotion that doesn't foam whatsoever. Amazingly, it cleans very well, removing all eye makeup and everything easily. I love the smell, but then I like the warm, "oatmeal" smell of fragrance-free products such as this :) I think maybe one reason this seems strong is that it was probably designed to remove the Zinc-O sunscreen (which is a great sunscreen BTW). My advice is to get a sample first. UPDATE***Well, the dryness set back in and I had to switch.

I wanted this product to work for me but it was way to harsh for some areas of my skin. However it left other parts looking great. Darn!

I really like this cleanser. It's fragrance-free and mild but takes off all of my mineral makeup, although I have to use quite a bit for it to do so(it doesn't foam). It doesn't dry my skin out like most cleansers do. The sample bottle says "Shake Well," which is a bit urrr because I consider it a hassle to have to shake the bottle before each use.

Eh. Got this as a sample, tried it this morning. It doesn't foam, and yet still feels a little harsh for something that is supposed to be mild. I didn't recognize the surfactants in the ingredients-- perhaps they would be good for people who are allergic to ALS and SLS? The oatmeal is dissolved, so the exfoliating action is not much. This cleanser feels neither gentle nor strong. I'll stick with my Sage Sensitive Facial Shampoo for now.

I'm on the fence with this. It burns like crazy, but i think i noticed an improvement with a troble area on my forehead about a week later. On the other hand it seemed to "purge" some whitheads i did not have until i used this. I'll have to try using this on thicker areas(forehead, jawline) and not on the rest of my face. Will update...OOPs this review was for the acne control gel and i started using it again so i'll update: as of 7/28 i'm almost clear, no new breakouts as of today yipee and i will continue to use this as well as the Oatmeal Cleanser. Just re-ordered both products.

This is a gentle fragrance free cleanser. It does take off sunscreen and makeup well without stripping.
It is thin consistancy; almost like a cleansing milk texture. It does not foam. I would not use this to take off eye makeup. If there is oatmeal in there I did not feel/see it. It does not exfoliate.
I got this as a sample with some other samples (GC, etc) from Linda Sy. It would be $16.00 US dollars plus shipping to Canada/duty for 8 oz bottle. It is a good cleanser; I just don't believe it is exceptional and worth the money/hassle of ordering on line from the US. I think I will stick with my drudstore cleansers for now.
I am still undecided on the other samples I have received. I know I will not be ordering this one.
Update corrected price. This is $16.00 US plus shipping (duties and taxes for Canadians.)

This cleanser does a good job in removing makeup, after using this there were no trace of makeup on the cotton ball.
I use this a few times a week to deepclean and loosen up the sebum. I have seb.derm and I think this can be a relative mild exfoliatorcleanser. Cause I just read that old sebum can be irritating as well....

I'm test driving this product right now, but unlike some of Linda Sy's other offerings, I'm not impressed with this. It is fairly gentle and cleanses well. I was expecting with the oatmeal some gentle exfoliating action, but no such luck. I don't like the smell--too chemical-ly. It won't replace my HG cleanser, Unicure.
