I love this foundation! It provides a good coverage yet it doesn't cake my face. Paraben free is definitely a plus. The packaging is glass and overall it's just a great product that I would recommend. The only bone I have to pick with this product is the why it is dispensed. The bottle does not have a pump, but I'm not super bugged by that.

I was so excited to try this foundation because of all the great reviews. I have super sensitive skin, and this seemed like a great choice...wrong. I don't know if it was this foundation alone, or a combination of this foundation with other things, but I'm breaking out like NEVER before after using this.

After the second day of trying it, my entire face was little bumps and my chin is a disaster. Like I said, I have never broken out like this in my life!!

I used to use MUFE HD Foundation and adored how flawless it made my skin look all day, but when it started to break me out I was in total denial. I convinced myself that my acne, redness, and dryness were simply due hormonal fluctuations, winter weather, etc. instead of the MUFE I was putting on my face every day. Finally, I decided to face the music and try to find a new foundation that might work for my combination sensitive skin, last all day, and wouldn't break the bank. I went to the Origins counter to check out Stay Tuned, I was color matched (Bisque,) and received a sample to use for a week. I was impressed by how well the color not only matched my skin tone, but also seemed to eliminate the red undertones in my complexion (I think because the color I was matched with has more yellow undertones?). I bought the full-size bottle right away, and I've been incredibly happy! My skin has cleared up for the first time in YEARS! I wouldn't say that the Stay Tuned foundation cleared my acne, I think it simply doesn't cause me to breakout like the MUFE foundation did. This has also really helped with the dry patches I used to get on my cheeks--they are completely gone even in freezing winter! I'm so happy. I think this foundation works best if you have some sort of primer on underneath--I've used the FX Treat and Prime, Smashbox primer, and Miracle Skin Transformer with it and they've all worked well. If my skin is really red that day I sometimes use a green primer (MUFE) under the Miracle Skin Transformer on my red zones. I've used a flat foundation brush (recommended by the Origins saleswoman), disposable makeup sponge, and a Beauty Blender to apply the Stay Tuned, but I like the Beauty Blender best. I still use an undereye concealer on my really awful dark circles and sometimes a little bit of concealer on any red acne scars. I don't use any powder over it--I don't need it.

As of right now - I don't think i'd purchase this product again.

I just turned 20 years old over the summer and I decided to start a natural/organic skin and hair care journey. I decided to give up on a lot of department store brands like MAC, and drugstore brands like L'oreal and others - that contained strange chemicals and tested on animals. I thought since I was turning 20 years old it would be a great time to start taking better care of my skin.

The Stay Tuned foundation interested me because of the natural ingredients, and the claims that it would combat oily zones, as well as add moisture to dry zones, and achieve a "perfect harmony" in one bottle - for people with combination skin.

- It covers NOTHING for me. The foundation is super liquidy, and very light coverage in my opinion. It didn't cover my freckles, undereye circles, or hyper pigmentation. It also barely covered the redness on my cheeks.

I noticed that this makeup lasted a good amount of time on my skin, but it did not wear well on me. I noticed dry patches that it clung to, and looked a bit spotty. I also noticed it dried very unflattering on the peach fuzz I have on my face. It looked kinda chalky and you could not only see all of my imperfections - but you could tell if you got close that I was wearing (unflattering) makeup.

Bummer because I really wanted to love this stuff. I think the next foundation I will try will be the Arbonne Perfecting Liquid Foundation.

I finally found my HG foundation. I've tried many different kinds over the years, and this one is the best I have found so far (no breakouts). I have extremely sensitive skin that's acne prone, so I have to be careful about what products I use on my face. My friend had a bottle of this and said I should try it. The Warm Beige matched my skin tone exactly. It goes on very smoothly (I use a brush rather than my hands - it blends much better), and feels very light on the skin. It almost feels like I'm not wearing any makeup at all. It gives pretty good coverage, especially over my blemishes. I've only just started using it, so I don't know how it holds up when it's hot.

I absolutely LOVE this foundation! It has such light, and beautiful coverage. It lightens and brightens my face without looking fake, but natural. I wouldn't suggest it to people who have oily or acne prone skin, though.

Hey Ladies.
This product is an absolute MUST! I have tried everything- Chanel, Estee Lauder, MAC, L'oreal, Revlon, Maybelline, MUFE, Clinique, Lancome etc etc and there was always something that I didn't like. This product ticks all the boxes for me.
First, it's CHEAP! I live in Australia so purchased it for only $34! It's a great price for a HD foundation! I have paid heaps more for less!
The finish is as natural is it gets, you look like you have nothing on but the skin looks absolutely FLAWLESS! I have combination skin and it is a little hard to purchase a foundation that makes my skin tone perfectly even!
I cannot stop raving about it, I can't believe it took me 10 years to find something this good for such a great price. Definitely buying again!

This is one of the best foundations I've ever tried, and definitely one of the cheapest! The shade "Angel" was perfect for my fair/cool complexion. It did not oxidize at all on me, nor did it cake in dry spots or make me oily. Is it "holy grail", no. It is one that is reliable, definitely.

I'm sad that this didn't work out for me. I liked the coverage, but it broke me out. Plus, it was a bit too orangey-looking on my pale skin, despite being their lightest color.

Let me start out by saying that my skin changes on a seasonal basis; very dry and flaky in the fall/winter and oily, slightly acne-prone during the summer (and during PMS), so I have to be very careful with my face makeup. I also have an extremely fair complexion and initially, I went in to find a foundation that would not look so orange on my face and would blend well with my neck.

This is the ONLY foundation that has ever matched my skin tone perfectly (given it's the lightest shade) without looking "caked on". The coverage is just enough to cover minor blemishes, but concealer is needed for more significant spots. That's why they invented concealer though, so I don't consider it a downfall. Other than that, the coverage is very fresh - it feels like you're not wearing make up at all, so you feel very pure and pretty.

The price is reasonable for such a high end, quality product; I bought mine for $23. Obviously, the reviews prove that it isn't for everyone, but it worked for me and I plan to stay loyal to this product for a long time. Aside from price and efficiency, Origins is a "green" brand that uses organic products whenever possible and only tests with cruelty-free methods. It's a brand that you can feel good about, which only adds to your confidence when you wear it.

To say the least, I absolutely recommend this product! At least to try (Origins always provides samples of their products).

Ok, I wanted to like origins products because I love that they are cruelty free but this didn't help me at all.
It did have a nice feel on my skin but didn't cover anything. Even if I had clear good skin I dont think this would have made any difference. It also left me super oily, I looked like I had been dunked in a deep fryer.
On the bright side it didn't break me out.

I googled foundation for oily skin and this foundation came up. The foundation was only $20 so I had no hesitations about buying it. The coverage is natural and the color match was great but it doesn't control oil and does not contain spf protection. Since it's summer time and my skin is oily this foundation is worthless to me right now. I think it might work for me during the winter season when my skin is dry.

I have very sensitive clogging and acne prone skin. I'm a make up product junkie & have tried many drugstore brand (neutrogena, covergirl, L'Oreal, and lots more) and pricey department store brands (estee lauder, lancome, shiseido, clarins, benefits, mac, stila, clinique etc) foundations. They either clogged my pores & caused breakout, or resulted in skin rash and irritations although many of them "claim" to be "HYPOALLERGENIC" or "NON-COMEDOGENIC".

I also tried mineral foundations (bare minerals, everyday minerals, alima pure) or organic liquid foundations (100% pure, vapour organic beauty). The mineral powder didn't blend well and made my skin looked cakey after an hour. Also, many organic liquid foundations contain essential oils or plant butters that clog my pores. I also tried various brands of Asian BB creams that are inexpensive (skin 79, Missha, hanskin, Dr. Jart, etc). They were very thick & created a mask on my face and made my skin looked flawless. But the BB cream caused severe breakouts on my face because they were so thick.

This foundation does NOT clog my pores or cause any breakouts at all. The only down side is that it provides light to medium coverage so I have to use a concealer to cover up obvious acne spots. It blends well & does not contain drying emulsifying alcohols. It is great for acne prone skin & made my skin look natural. It is inexpensive & the ingredients don't irritate my skin. The only down side is that I wish it comes with a pump so it's cleaner and easier to control the amount.

After trying countless foundations, this is my HG! I used mineral makeup for many years, but needed to switch due to increasingly dry skin. This foundation is a great - almost gel consistancy that provides medium coverage that looks very natural. I am thrilled to have found a product that covers my rosacea without being too obvious. If you are searching for a great foundation that is perfect for dry skin, stay tuned is perfect.

Age: 30-35   Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium, Warm   Hair: Black, Straight, Medium   Eyes: Brown

[For reference – I am of mixed Filipino/English descent, with light olive skin-tone that leans towards warm/yellow. Skin-type is Combination/Sensitive and somewhat breakout-prone, with redness on my nose & cheeks. Pronounced pores. NC20-25]

In my hunt for the perfect foundation – i.e. one that matches my pale yellow skin without being too dark/pink, does not slide off my red cheeks and lasts for a full work-day with little-to-no touchups – I have tried almost every brand under the sun. Bobbi Brown, MAC, Estee Lauder, Lancome, Chanel, Maybelline, Revlon, Bourjois, UNE...as a matter of fact, you can read my reviews on many of these here!

I had something of a love-hate relationship with Origin’s other liquid foundation, “Youthtopia”; I loved the lasting power, the fact that it’s paraben free and that it didn’t cause me to erupt in breakouts. What I didn’t like was the extremely limited colour range – with the very lightest shade being warm, the next cool and so on – and the oil-content that tended to leave me a little too shiny for comfort. So, when I recently spotted “Stay Tuned” on a holiday to New York, I pounced on it. This foundation range looks to have negated every issue that I had with “Youthtopia”, and has leapt to the top of my foundation love-list.

“Stay Tuned” is described as a “balancing foundation”, with “oil-blotting” ingredients to control shine and “optical diffusers” to flatter the complexion. Due to my oily t-zone I was very keen to give this a go to see if it could last the day without breaking up. The product comes in a 30ml glass bottle similar to “Youthtopia” and is available in a wide range of shades. Luckily for me my shade actually has the same name as my BB match – Warm Beige, which looks far darker online than it does in real life! The foundation is very fluid and runny, and I found application with the MAC 187 duo brush to be the most effective. Coverage is medium, nicely masking my redness but not obliterating my acne scars. The finish is semi-matt, which I actually quite like. I do powder over my nose to help minimise shine in this area. This foundation easily lasts all day for me without touch-up, which is wonderful. I personally do find that I need to use quite a lot of product to get reasonable coverage, and tend to apply one layer all over my face with a second light stippling over the reddest parts of my cheeks; thankfully the product does not look cakey when more than one layer is applied, as it is so light. I imagine I will get through this relatively quickly! Still, at a mere $21.00, this is one of the cheapest foundations in my collection, and the positive points for me make the usage rate worthwhile. This does not have an SPF factor so you will need to use separate sunscreen. Also, this does not have skin-rejuvenating properties of “Youthtopia”. That being said, this is a great every-day foundation that did not cause me to break out, and did not dissolve away during the work day.

The GOOD:
1) Reasonably priced for a department store foundation.
2) Great range of shades
3) Fantastic lastability
4) Paraben free
5) Decent oil control, suited to combo & oily skin types

The BAD:
1) No SPF
2) Glass bottle without pump
3) Can require a lot of product to be used for fuller coverage.

The BOTTOM LINE:
Superb foundation that is a steal at this price. This is currently the back-up in my make-up bag, just pipped by Bobbi Brown EXTRA Repair Foundation which is more suitable for winter. I imagine that, due to the lighter consistency and oil-controlling properties, this is going to become my staple summer foundation if BB ER proves to be too heavy; this was a job previously filled by BB "Skin", which just did not cut the mustard on the hottest summer days. I'm optimistic that "Stay Tuned" will do the job. Will repurchase.

I love this foundation (I use it in Fair), it's definitely one of my very top favourites and I readily recommend it to people under 40. It gives such a pretty finish and is great for covering dark undereyes, blends well, doesn't clog pores. My only complaint is that it's expensive and sort of hard-to-find.

I would definitely consider purchasing this product again, it is great stuff. The formula is very light weight so one doesn't feel like they have any makeup on but it still manages to make the skin appear even and healthy even when I'm experiencing a bad breakout. The shade selection is wonderful as well. Unfortunately they don't offer much for deeper skinned women but if you fall in the fair-medium-dark range you should look into this product.

Good for: drier skin. I have oily and though it claims to soak up oil, it didn't do that great a job.
Good for: clear skin. I have acne and old acne marks and it didn't cover them up. I felt I had to use a ton--not so great for a natural look.
Good for: a natural look if you've got the right color. My color fit at first, but it seemed way too dark and noticeably showed.

It's a shame. I really wanted to like it, but I think it broke me out. I've stuck with the brand though, but switch to a powder for my oily skin.

This is an amazing foundation! I've tried several in a quest for future wedding-photo perfection (I don't normally wear foundation). It's incredibly silky, sheer and blendable. It smells fantastic and doesn't contain parabens or other nasties. The color range is amazing - I was matched with Bisque, which is not what I would have picked for myself, but it evens out and brightens my ruddy complexion. Unlike most other foundations I've tried, it doesn't settle into lines and pores, which is such a relief - I don't have to keep blending throughout the day. The best part about this foundation is that it *stays on my face*. I mean, it doesn't rub off for anything, especially if set with powder. It stays on all day! I use Origins Clean Energy oil cleanser to take it off at night, which gets it completely off - I'd recommend an oil cleanser for this because it does have such good staying power. Overall, I highly recommend this foundation, but do go into an Origins store to get matched - I was several shades darker than I expected!
