There was an excellent deal on this product on the strawberrynet site (35% off) so I figured well, why not try it. I have some redness, mostly around my nose and chin area. I apply this product in the am, right after washing. Then I put on my DDF sunscreen, and finish with Dior foundation. The products go very well together with no peeling or balling up, and my skin feels very comfortable throughout the day. After a couple of weeks I noticed that I didn't need to apply extra foundation on my 'reddish' areas. In fact I don't even need liquid foundation anymore, I am getting away with a light dusting of powder. This product did a fantastic job of evening out my skin tone. I don't care what Beautypedia says, this product really delivers and it does not irritate! If you have redness it is definitely worth a try.

My skin is normal and very fair, with some mild redness on the cheeks, nose and forehead. I have been using this product religiously, morning and evening, for a bit over a month and am quite content with the results I am seeing so far. I began to see slight reduction in redness after about two weeks of use. After five weeks, I would say that redness has been toned down by about 50-60%, which is a very significant improvement. I now look like I have healthy pink tones in my complexion, though I wouldn't mind toning them down another 10-20%. The improvement I have experienced so far, however, makes a big difference and I am very happy with the results. I apply this gel after cleansing and toning my skin. I let it absorb for about 30 seconds before applying serum and moisturizer. Because the packaging makes it impossible to see how much product is left, I bought a backup already as not to be without. After five weeks of continuous use, there is still product left. A little definitely goes a long way - I apply a half-pea sized amount to each cheek and forehead. I have experimented with larger amounts of gel and have not seen any difference. So far, DDF Redness Relief Gel and Dr. Weil Plantidote Mega Mushroom Face Serum are the only two products that have had an impact on reducing redness for me.

I believe I have mild rosacea. I have very fair skin with redness in my cheeks and forehead. In the past few years, I notice I "heat up" with alcohol and temp changes. Sometimes, for no reason at all.
I wanted to try to find something to help out my redness and this is my first try. I have been using it for about a week and have noticed a difference. I didn't have immediate results but after 2-3 days, I noticed my cheeks aren't so red. This product goes on easy, absorbs quickly and doesn't roll up. It dries without any shine too. I don't really notice any smell to it, maybe a faint one but it definately doesn't linger. When this is dry, I follow up with DDF Ultra-lite, Oil free moisturizing Dew with SPF 15.
I will follow up on this review as some more time goes by.
UPDATE: I have moved on to Rosehip oil for my redness and like it much better.

I would not say that I have a redness problem, so when the SA at Beauty First gave me a sample of this I had to wonder...why? LOL! Upon staring at the mirror and deciding that I indeed do not have a redness problem, put the sample in my bin of samples to give away. Then last night I decided to try my Retin-A on my neck, which always irritates my neck skin...but I try every once in awhile anyway. Yes, I woke up with a red neck..I remembered the DDF Redness Relief sample and went and dug it out and tried it. Two hours later I looked in the mirror and the redness was completely gone! Usually my neck is red for the entire next day..and itchy too. I know, I know, why do I do it to myself then? I don't know. Anyway, I can't believe the results I had to immediately come see other reviews and leave one myself. I thought redness relief products were for Roscacea and/or couperose skin. But, lo and behold it works immediately for irritation! I think I will try the Aveeno Redness formula as another reviewer suggested before forking out the money for the DDF. I'll leave an update after I try the Aveeno to see if it works as well as the DDF.

I almost liked this.
While it did a decent job of calming any redness, I found that it didn't absorb into my skin. Now, let me first say, that if this is meant to only be a treatement, well then more power to DDF. But if this is meant to be a product that can be worn throughout the day, they have more test-tubery to do.
After I put this on, I waited a few minutes, then began to apply my foundation. SUCK CITY. It started peeling off in chunks and getting caught in my foundation brush. Needless to say, I was bummed. Maybe I should have waited longer than five minutes to apply make-up, but I dunno. It was too much of a downer to want to mess with it again.

This is a great product. I've been using it for 3 weeks religiously morning and night with very good results! The smell is a bit weird but you can't smell it after you put it on. It also doesn't dry out my face. I have really red cheeks with broken capillaries and I've been trying for so long to get rid of them. The SA told me (no big surprise) that it's practically impossible to get rid of broken caps unless you do special treatments but that this product will lessen the redness and make is less noticeable. I use this everyday before i go to bed and in the morning and I can see less redness. By the way, they recently changed the bottle. It used to be a clear short glass thing with 1oz. of product and you could see how much you had left. The newer version is a tall silver bottle and it is almost triple the size of the original one but is still 1oz!!

I bought this product because the SA told me it would reduce my redness in my cheeks. At first I thought it was doing something then after 2 weeks, I noticed nothing happening. I was very disappointed in this product; I really thought it would give me better results.

I just tried this product last week after a vacation in hot and humid Florida left me red and bumpy. I used this over the DDF Vitamin K lotion and had an amazing result. The redness is gone and my skin appearance has improved.

FANTASTIC product! I have very, very pale and sensitive skin and have suffered from cheek redness most of my life, regardless of the treatment/moisturizer I have used. For the first time ever, I no longer have redness on my face - all because I use DDF Redness Relief, a green liquid that worked a miracle on me. Even my fair skined husband is using it, and he loves it (and Vaseline hand lotion is his idea of a facial mosturizer). Used once a day (at night) for several days you will notice immediate improvement. Use it 1-2 times a day for several weeks, and your redness will completely disappear! Note: I don't know if it works for rosecea. I simply had red, inflamed skin. And yes, it doesn't smell good at all, but since most fragrances irritate sensitive skin like mine, who wants to add a scent and potentially ruin the effectiveness of the product? I highly recommend DDF Redness Relief. I use BABOR B. Young Sensitive Cream as a follow-up. All the Babor sensitive skin products are great, as well.

This actually does what it says. Within four consecutive days of twice daily use, I have seen a marked decrease in the redness on my upper cheeks and around my nose. And no, it's not from the vivid green tint, which disappears upon application. Non-comedeogenic too. Note, that I do not have rosacea, I'm just one of those people who is constantly red from Retin A use or my heavy duty glycolic use. So I cannot opine on whether it would work for rosaceans.
