I was so excited to get this multiple but its really been mostly a disappointment. I guess the color is just not right for me. I prefer Copacabana for a highlighter as this isn't quite bright enough to use for that. and it doesn't look great as a blush. I feel like I put frosted lipstick on my face when I tried to use it as blush. THe orgasm and south beach multiple are much better suited for me. Bummer because "Champagne pink" sounded really nice....

I recently purchased this multiple from the NARS store on Bleecker St. and I absolutely love it. I put it on the apples of my cheeks and blend it back towards my cheek bones, dusting Douceur Blush underneath my cheek bones. Even if I don't wear anything on my eyes, this look always makes me appear youthful and fresh. I highly recommend Maldives to anyone with very fair, cool toned skin.

I love, love, love this product! It gives a gorgeous glow to the skin. Beautiful pigments and goes on so smoothly. I apply to my cheeks and eyes for an instant tanned look.I do have to reapply this throughout the day, but I have to reapply most of my make up after a few hours wear to be honest. My skin type is dry (water dry) and can develop a slight shine after a few hours so I understand why make up items don't stay on me too long. This is a staple item in my make up bag, and will not stray from it.

I am really disappointed with this product.. There's no pigment once blended just a WHOLE LOT of glitter. I'm guessing the same glittery effect can be achieved by playing with my 8 year old niece's barbie doll type makeup. it's useless as a bronzer, as a highlighter, and as a blush. I don't use eyeshadow, but I'm guessing it's too glittery for my liking to be used for anything. Real waste of a good deal of money. :(

The only redeeming feature is the cream to powder texture that feels lovely.

I absolutely adore this product. I bought it after the NARS guy from the counter told me that this would be the one that would suit my skintone, as if I used anything darker it would make me look tired. I bought it following his advice and I must confess I was not very convinced, but once I tried it at home I thought it looked lovely, and it does give my skin a shimmery I-just-came-back-from-the-beach look. I cannot recommend this enought for people with the same skintone as me.

I can't rave enough about this! This is a gorgeous multiple. I had one in South Beach and ended up returning it because I already had a blush that gave the same effect -- but this one is a unique color. Online, it describes it as a champagne pink. I uploaded the photos, and in the tube it definitely looks more of a bronze color with the slightest hint of pink. When I apply it, it comes out a perfect bronzey rose color. Not too pink, and not too bronze. More of a slightly copperish bronze with a pink tint and a golden glow. The glitter in this is minimal when applied. I don't get glitter spilling all over my cheeks when wearing it. Honestly, this gives me the perfect warm glow that I've been looking for. It's beautiful used as a highlight, but it's gorgeous used as a blush. It gives you a fresh, healthy appearance. I also believe this will look gorgeous year-round. For those who are hesitant about this one, don't be. It is gorgeous! I hope that NARS will never discontinue this product. It's amazing! <3 The best out of all of the multiples. (NC40 for ref.)

I have 3 other Multiples, St Barts, Portofino and the Tuomata bronzer which is perfectly matte. Even with light application, I found that St Barts and Portofino showed up dark on pores although I have pretty small ones. Maldives looks shimmery but on me it does not show up pores and just gives a nice glow. The color itself is not enough without blush for me, but worn under a matte cream blush, it looks lovely. Very happy I finally bought this one.

I love this product. I have a fair-medium complexion with yellow undertones and this is a fabulous color for me. It's a neutral peachy pink on my face and is great for highlighting. If I want more color, I'll use a blusher on my cheeks. Sometimes I also wear it on my lips with some clear gloss and it gives a very neutral and sophisticated look. (Check out my pic.) Because of the muted sparkles, I prefer to wear it at night. I've found it tends to wear off; I've been told to set it with powder and this will matte it down at first and eventually the skin will warm it back up.

This is my least favorite multiple. It's similar to the Copacabana but Copacabana is much better as a highlighter. This one isn't quite a highlighter and there's not enough color for it to be blush. It's also a bit unnaturally shimmery. Can't make this look right on me although I've tried many times.

This product is so convenient! Great for lips, eyes, cheeks--pop in bag. and go. :) An alternative to orgasm nars multiple.

Its an unique colour, more brown than pink, gives a nice glow to cheeks in pictures. You can create A LOT of different looks from this product. When you're at a party, apply onto lids to create a shimmer. For an everyday look I keep it to my cheeks. Dont' apply too much of this product to your lips or else the shiney stuff will crease and make it look too wrinkly.

Just becareful not to plaster maldives over too much area of the face or else you'll just look like a multiple nars maldives stick.

I have a bunch of these multiples and love them all, except this one. I just don't know what to do with it. It's a frosty taupe champagne kind of color and it doesn't really suit me. I think it's too glittery, which is ironic because I love the multiple Copacabana, but that is more luminizing or something. If I wear Maldives on my eyelids it makes my skin look crepey and on my cheeks it looks dirty and shiny. It looks okay on my lips with some gloss, but nothing to get excited about. I could see how this would be very pretty on someone younger though. I'll probably play around with it some more and then give it away.

I ADORE this product! It's quickly becoming a staple and part of my every day makeup routine. As others have mentioned, there isn't a lot of colour pigmentation to this product, so it's not useful as a blush...it's definitely meant to be a highlighter. But what a freaking awesome product...it's so easy to apply, either straight from the stick or with your finger/brush. My favourite place to put it is on my eyelids (up to brow) and cheekbones/temples. It's such a versatile product too - I pair it on my cheeks/eyes with my HG blush Stila convertible colour and I'm good to go - this gives a really nice fresh and dewey look for the day. It's also nice in the evening with a more dramatic look. I think I could use this every day in some way if I wanted to. The high price is absolutely worth it, it lasts forever....this is the perfect highlighter.

Maldives is a pinkish beige/taupe with shimmer. If you look at the swatch on the Nars website, it's quite mauve looking, but it's not like that in real life - it's more on the neutral side.

It's quite a solid product & I find that I need to press it quite hard to get a sufficient amount to appear on my skin. But I don't really get any of the colour appearing on my skin - I mainly get the shimmer, even though in the tube it looks quite intensely pigmented. I have a pale yellow complexion (around NC20), but by the time I apply foundation, powder and bronzer, I don't really get much colour out of this - just shimmer really. I was tossing up between this one and Copacabana, and I'm glad I got this one!

One other problem I have is that because I have open pores on my cheeks, I need to be careful where I apply it, as I find that all highlighters accentuate open pores. So I try to apply it just at the top of the cheekbone. It's also great to highlight the browbone.

Overall, I have mixed feelings about this product. The stick form is great, as it's handier than a palette and brush. But sometimes I find it a bit difficult to apply. I guess I would eventually buy it again if I ran out, but I think I would try a different colour first - probably something with more colour.

But if you're looking at buying a Nars Multiple and you are looking for one that will be more of a highlighter rather than a blush, I recommend Maldives. You definitely get more shimmer than colour out of this one. And the shimmer is neutral, so would be great for those with pale-medium complexions who want to 'play it safe.'

I said no because you will NEVER run out of this product.
It is hard in consistancy.

BUT this gives me a beautiful glow and totally sculpts my cheeks, its quick and easy, and because its a nice sheer glow, no real pigment, it goes with various blushes and bronzers. I love adding depth to laguna with this, because with matte bronzer, you look flat and you need to add dimension. I haven't tried it on my eyes or lips, but it really does sculpt my cheeks and i glow. I get so many compliemtns on my complexion.

use either your fingers for more controlled application. i just swipe it on to my cheekbone and up in a C motion, and then just pat and blend with my fingers. no brush needed!

I am not a fan. I am actually considering swapping this, and normally I love my nars. I find the product to be hard in texture, not somewhat soft to medium-soft as I expected. The main problem I have with this is that I don't get a good color read on this and when I try to apply it to my cheeks I don't get enough product to show color, and when I continue to rub a little (maybe warming the product) to get some on my cheek, it rubs off any foundation. I would love to love this, but it just does not work on me.

this is my 2nd multiple :-D. i love love love south beach.

this one is super light and shimmery on my NC45 skin. looks like pure shimmer when applied flat straight from the stick or comes out more pink champagne when applied using the edge. great as a highlighter for cheeks or browbone. could use alone as a neutral pink champagne shadow or would be fab as a shadow base too.

36 bucks is steep, but these multiples are so generous and a little goes such a long way, that i swear this stick might outlive me. thats the only reason i clicked would not repurchase ... because i might never run out!

i love multiples. i seek to collect them all

this is the best multiple I have ever bought. I was talked into buying it by one of the clerks at Bigelow's, and I am glad I was because this stuff is awesome. you can literally wear it on eyes, lips and cheeks without looking weird or monochromatic. it is such a gorgeous color! I like to wear it with a little bit of brown-bronze lip gloss for a fun beachy glow. a great product, and certainly worth every penny!

So far, this this is the color that I can literally use on eyes, lips and cheeks (MAC NC20 for ref). It is a pale pink champagne with golden shimmer, and it is neutral. The other multiples can look weird on eyes (cherry red Mauritius, for example--love it for lips and cheeks though) but Maldives is just a wash of pale shimmer. Lovely.

This is one of the most surprising products I've ever used. I'm not a big Multiples fan, I find them overrated, and thus far have only found 2 to work for me (Portofino as blush, Palm Beach as bronzer.) South Beach and Mustique did nothing for me, even though they're supposedly so great for NC30's. Yet after overlooking Maldives for years, I've found that it is the most gorgeous highlighter I've ever used!!!! Somehow this pinkish-champagne shimmer gives me the PERFECT glow - it gives my eyelids a pretty nude sparkle and I swear it sculpts cheekbones I don't have. Dust some bronzer over it and I reap compliments all night. What's so miraculous is that I don't look good in any kind of shimmer, but this works perfectly on me.
