I have tried the samples the ladies pushed on me of this product and I must say I am disappointed with the outcome. Yes, it is relaxing going on and has a nice Sisley scent but it left my face feeling slightly sticky not hydrated or smooth!

This review is for Sisley Hydra-Global Intense Anti-Aging Hydration (the title on this review isn't super specific). I just love this stuff. I received a free sample in a Beauty Box and, after using it for a week or so, I swear I put makeup on one day and did a double-take because my skin looked so smooth and shiny (in a good way) that it almost looked plastic. I was shocked. After that I decided I had to get more, but because of the outrageous price tag I just resorted to buying sample size lots on eBay. Buying the full-size product isn't out of the question (I've seen it as low as $125 on Amazon), however when I see an auction for a lot of ten 4ml (40ml total) samples on eBay for $50-60, I can't justify spending double when you're getting the same amount of product in the full size (the full size is 40ml/1.4oz). I do feel as though maybe my skin has become used to this stuff, as I no longer see the effects I did in the first place, but I just love it so much and will continue to use it. I would definitely recommend this product.

Although I have only been able to buy samples on Ebay - I just love this stuff. I cannot figure out why it works so well on my skin, but it does. The results I have experienced in 2 weeks is better tone, more radiance, more firmness, my skin feels comfortable. It's the perfect balance of moisture.

This is my overall favorite cream i have ever used...now I have to figure out how to justify the $300.+ price for it! If anyone knows of a cheaper cream that is as good then please email me! I figure I would need to buy a jar every 3-4 months because this cream is your day and night cream. It's so convenient.

I like this more than these other high end creams that I have tried... LaMer, Revive, EL, SKII, Perricone

Just another note...while this Sisleya Global cream is phenomenal and I love it...I found it surprising how terrible the Sisleya anti-aging foundation was. That was a huge disappointment and I will share more in that review.

*add* I did a little online research and discovered that one of the unique effective ingredients in this product is ursolic acid(not sure on spelling). It is very expensive ingredient and it's also found in Darphin's $310. serum and supposedly in an EL ReNutriv serum.
*Edit* 1/22/13 I think I like Chanel's Sublimage concentrate serum and Cream better. And of course that is only $400. jar. My hunt will forever continue to find the perfect skincare for $50. or less

I started using Sisley products about a month ago and I have to admit the result I am getting are amazing. My skin was dreadful, combination but with really dry flaky patches with hormonal acne. Prior to using Sisley, I was using Cetaphil cleanser, Lush toner and Lancome hydrazen moisturizer. I bought other Sisley products which I shall review separately but I was able to test this product properly as the SA gave me very generous samples of it. The result I got are so good that after a lot of thought, I bought the full size at Sephora who was running a 20% discount at the time. I now have nice healthy looking glowy moisturised skin. It does not aggravate my acne which I treat with the tropical resine mask. This product is hidously expensive but it wotks so well for me that I will buy again. If you have the budget, ask for samples and give it a try, I know that I will be watching for discounts at my local beauty shop to get it!

Nothing special is going on with this product...Neither major nor minor effects on my skin. Just another face moisturiser with a pleasant smell... On the other hand, the price is very unpleasant!

I tried several samples of this over the last five years and thought the product was nothing special but then I was lucky enough to have the full size product gifted to me. This is an amazing cream, it literally fills in my fine lines and slight open pores and gives me perfect looking skin. It does not cause me to break out and the results I get are a even toned rested complexion.
I only wish this product was in airless packaging to protect this anti oxidants. But I do have to tell you, you can't get results from a small sample you need the full sized product to see whether you get results.

Such a pity for my pocket. Though I must admit that I did not use it with a serum which usually improves the performane of a moisturiser, to be fair. However, I must say that I love the herby smell of lavender and is quite agreeable to the nose. It absorbs well even without a serum, but I have experienced other products which do much more than this...such a shame.

The most useless Sisley cream I've ever used. It did nothing to my skin apart of blocking the pores. It work neither for me nor my Mum who normally loves sisley products. The one to avoid...

I used a few samples of this product and loved it. Because I wondered if it was the shea butter in it, that made me like this product, I went shopping for a less pricy substitute creme with shea butter. First try was a very cheep drugstore one that I like just as much as Sisley Global, with the same feel and results. I like it even better because it costs me just about 5 euro a pot.

So, no I wont purchase this Sisley product because yes, there realy are inexpensive substitutes.

(Dutch girls: if you like this Sisley product, check out Kruidvat lifting creme for mature skin. It doesn't lift but it is great. Non greasy and a great base for make up. So cheap I also use it as a hand cream. Does not have a nice smell, but that goes away in secconds)

Got a sample of this in a store and was eager to try due to my love of Sisley products. As soon as I opened it, I knew I didn't like it: the smell was horrible and way too strong. The cream is very rich and moisturising, however, very oily for my combination skin. After a minute or so after application, for some unknown reason, I felt the skin on my face very tight and not comfortable. On the other side, the skin tone evened out and the amount of red spots and irritation decreased. I tried it overnight and in the morning the skin was very oily and the next day as well. The moisturising properties of the cream are quite good, but would rather suit dry dehydrated skin. Wouldn't recommend for oily or combination. It is also overrated as the price is ridiculous for such effect. Wouldn't buy.

I have used the hydra global lotion and cannot recommend highly enough. Great when skin needs a bit TLC, dry/sensitive skins should do well with it. I tend to use this 2/3 times a week inbetween the all day all year cream. I have to admit I use samples of this as can't quite get my head around the price for a full size jar but if money's no object then knock yourself out!

I've only used samples of this cream (due to the price of course..) and I've had 2 different experiences. The first time I wasn't so impressed - it smelt quite strong, which doesn't bother me too much, but it was too oily for my skin and I broke out.

However, over the last week I've pulled it out of the cabinet again for another shot - this time it's been a godsend. My skin has become terribly dry, dehydrated, horrible dull skin tone mostly due to poor sleep, stress and winter. After using this for a week my skin is looking soooo much better. I've been using it at night and day also and my skin is loving it, not greasy at all. All the fine dryness lines have gone and my skin no longer looks dull. My skin tone is much more even and my red cheeks are looking calm.
I'd buy this on line somewhere - ebay etc...just not at full price.
I'd definately recommend this for someone with dry skin.
EDIT: I think the retinol in this was too much for my skin. I ended up with flakyness.

Sisley makes excellent skin products based on plant extracts, such a pity it fills them with parabens in the end... Anyway, I had a big 0.14 oz. sample of this and was eager to try it, as I have been a fan of Tropical resins cream for the past 8 years. This is totally different and, to my tastes, worse. It's extremely rich in oils, so it gets your skin greasy and I don't see how I could get on with all that goo during the day (it's supposed to be used for night and day). In the long therm, it should make my combo skin very acneic.
The smell is herby and energizing at first, but it gets all "olive oil" after 5 minutes, which is horrible to stand (I have the impression I smell of frying saucepan).
The price may be justified by the long list of plant extracts in it, but still it's ridiculous.
All in all, not worth the money and not even worth going through the sample.

I did not have the retail size of this cream, only several big deluxe sachets that come as a gift-for-purchase. Sisley is close to my heart. I love all of their products, except for the eye balm (efficace?) and most of the rich-textured creams- and Sisleya Global is one of them. I have a combo skin that occassionally leans towards oily and this cream is too rich for me. I also develop acne on my face when using this product for a few times. It is sad that I could not rate this product fully due to this obstacle. But for neck and decollette use, this is excellent...Far better than Sisley throat cream (but for this price- it better be).

Let me qualify some things. This stuff is extremely expensive, and I only buy samples on ebay. They last a long time, though, and you can get every last speck off those little envelopes. This is only good for dry skin, but it's very good for very dry. What I prefer, actually, is Sisley Hydra Global, which is not as oily. The Hydra Global works extremely well for me and also seems to calm down my rosacea, which is a miracle. It is also extremely expensive but for me is worth its weight in gold.

I really want to like this product. It made my skin glow and nice. I wish it will be my HG moisturizer. Unfortunately, after using it for 3 weeks, my skin started to break out constantly. It gave me a lot of cysts, and irritated my skin. This cream becomes a nightmare for me. And the price is horrible expensive too. Overall, it is not worth it. I will not repurchase it forever.

Very moisturizing, but way too oily for my combo skin (didn't break my out, in fact it reduced my breakouts significantly), sadly, because it made my skin glow like I've had a good day at he beach when I was sitting in front of my computer. Would make an excellent night cream but it's a bit too expensive for my student buget right now.
