This is the best cleanser i have every bought... I dont breakout with it anymore... i made the mistake of buying another cleanser instead of biotherm when i ran out and i BROKE OUT... thanks to sephora return policy i returned my Clinque cleanser and bought Biotherm.... i believe that it is a lil bit expensive but it is worth the price because it works soo well. I have oily skin and it makes my skin SHINE FREE!!!
I LOVE IT & AND WILL DEFINITELY BUY IT AGAIN!!!!

This cleanser works very well for my skin. I have combination skin where my nose and forehead can get very shiney, but my cheeks are dry. I've found that even if I don't immediately put on moisturizer after washing, my skin feels supple and smooth 15-30 minutes later. There are a few reasons why I do not give this a full 5-star rating: first, though this is not terribly expensive (I think somewhere around $20USD) it isn't cheap, either. However, I find I only have to use a little bit each time I wash, so one bottle actually can last me half a yr. Second, the product has a very distinct perfumey fragrance. When I first started using, I believe the fragrance made my skin itch; now maybe I've built up tolerance because my skin doesn't react! Many people might be put off by the strong fragrance. I would recommend using a trial size first before committing to this cleanser.

I have had this product for a while now. Whenever my skin breaksout due to weather changes or even hormonal changes, it take this cleanser out. It seems to really clear up my skin within a few days. Then I put it away until the next breakout. If I use it once a day and I continue to use my regular toner and moisturizer (Nuxe), I don't find it overdrying. A little dab lathers up really well, so a tube lasts a very long time.

Great product for when I had oily skin back in high school. It can be a little harsh during winter though it was good value for the price. I'm not so fond of gel cleansers anymore as I find that they strip the skin a little too much so I am more inclined to use Dermalogica's Dermal Clay Cleanser now as a substitute. Would have preferred if it came with a pump but nonetheless, still a good product that clears away oil and makeup.
EDIT 29/05/07: Increasing this rating to 5 after I tried some other disappointing cleansers. This is a basic gel cleanser that does what it says, nothing more, nothing less. I don't find it particularly hard to foam at all, just add water? But I live in Melbourne and we have soft water. Overall a great basic product for comibination/oily skins.

My skintype: Very dry cheeks, oily T-zon.
This light blue crystal gel foams up really well and rinses face clean without leaving it stripped. Just a peasized amount of this will do the trick, a tube has lasted over 8 month for me so its well worth the cash. This cleansig gel doesnt perform miracles, just washes away the city dirt (Im pretty sick and tired of buying expensive face washes that promise to give you perfect skin and dont deliver, so Biopur is good enough for me for the moment). I use it morning and night and follow up with moisturizer. The scent is a little masculin in my opinion but doesnt irritate, so it doesnt bother me.
Its great that it doesnt contain any drying alcohol (alcohol just dries the skin out so it will begin to produce even more oil= BAD). So regardless of what skin type you have, avoid products with alcohol high on the ingredients list!

A clear blue gel cleanser for oily skins, this cleaned my oils quite nicely and rinsed fairly clean. I like the look, smell & feel of this product. I'll continue to use the antibacterial Acnopur cleanser to keep me clean, but this is a nice alternative. It's not spectacular, so I'd probably buy again, but it's not my HG. However, it's a good all-around cleanser, so if I had to narrow it down to one to take on a trip, this would definitely be a contender.

I really liked this product line as a whole, I got the small travel versions from bath and body works and they REALLY worked for my skin.
I have combo/oily skin and nothing had worked for me until I found this stuff. The facewash didnt dry me out at all and the toner and moisturizer were awesome as well.

I would really like this product if it didn't make my lips sting & peel (this has never happened before with any other cleanser I've used). The strange thing is that my VERY sensitive, oily, blemish-prone skin loves this product, & it looked better after the first time I used it (tighter pores, more even-toned). It cleaned my skin very well, but there is an ingredient that my lips HATE. This product is worth a try if you have skin like mine, but NOT lips like mine!

I have been using this for a few weeks now and I'm not too impressed. I have very oily skin that occassionally breaks out; this cleanser did nothing to alleviate either of those conditions. If anything, I am breaking out more than I did before. This product was a disapointment and I would not repurchase it.

This comes in a huge blue packaging. The texture is watery and it is blue in color. It smells too 'perfumy' for me but I think some people might just like it.It foams really well, just a little bit of water is needed to foam.It took off all my makeup in a jiffy(i tried this cleanser to remove my makeup w/o my makeup remover wipes..dont do this) and it took everything off..my MAC lipstick,Studio fix foundation,Clarins Mascara.
In fact i cleansed twice(double cleansing or sort) and found that it did not dry up oily face at all,it just my skin look and feel better.Would def. purchase this again..but not my HG cleanser though..I dont think the packaging fits the consistency of the cleanser as it tends to overflow.

I got a full size of this thing free (part of the biotherm: make 3 $30 purchases, get free cleanser...) I've been using it for a couple of days now, and really like it. It says it's for oily and combination skin, but it's not drying. I'm alternating using this with the detoxifying foaming cleanser, which is more of a mild exfoliator, and so far I like the combination of it. It's really quite lovely and refreshing after a hot day.
I'm not sure if I would actually spend $16 for this product, the quality doesn't seem to be worth it. I mean, yes, it cleans, it's comfortable, has a pleasant fresh fragrance.....buuut...it's also very watery (would've been better if they offered this in a bottle with pump instead of the tube), it has dyes (blue is pretty, but unecessary). So...hmm, we'll i'll update when i'm done with the bottle, for the time being I say no, not worth the money, you can probably get a drugstore brand of comparable quality.

I was a person who has bought 4 products from Biotherm, Toner, Cleanser, 2 kinds of mask and they all disappointed me, only the cleanser that seemed to be just ok for me.
But this cleanser is acceptable, it was gentle enough to use it daily, good smell and leave my skin clean and not too dry.
It's ok but I'm going to use an alternative product to complere the set of Kose Sekkisei.

I'm undecided as to whether I like this or am just blah about it. The gel itself is blue and smells GREAT, although for some reason it doesn't feel like it does anything. It doesn't even clean all that well, since my face still feels a little greasy after cleansing. AND, it's expensive. Still looking for the HG cleanser. If anyone has any suggestions...
