I love this color...the perfect summer shade...a Peachy coral pink. I like the texture a lot too. I pair it with Milani's lipgloss in "summer baby" and that's my go to summer lip. The only flaw for me is the price is a bit high.

This is a medium, pinky coral with a golden pearl finish. Very moisturizing, with the perfect creamy, slightly-sheer consistency. I can see how this might be a difficult match for women with blue tones in their skin, but the gold sheen really makes this color work for my coffee-with-cream complexion. (See my profile for pics.) It's got a slightly old-fashioned feel in this world of nude lipgloss, but it's sweetly retro rather than ugly or out-of-style. Classic. It's great for a classic, soft, daytime look.

PD is one of my favorite lines which I feel is highly underrated. My only gripe about this lipstick is the shade. When testing "Mermaid" on my hand, the shade appeared to be a lovely, clear, sparkling pink. On my lips however, it's a complex mixture of pink, red, and peach. Although the shade is pretty, I much prefer true pink, red/blue and plum shades. I gave four lippies for PD's quality. The quality of this lipstick is excellent: very moisturizing and no need for constant reapplication. This particular shade however is just not for me.

Mermaid is a very pretty peachy-pink l/s. On my lips, the color leaned more to the pinky side, but I think it's because my lips are very pigmented. My biggest issues with this l/s was that it just didn't have enough coverage for my plummy-red pigmented lips; I tried using a flesh toned l/l, and even concealer, but these didn't work because the l/s is very light and somewhat greasy in texture, thus it has a tendency to slide around alot. If coverage isn't an issue for you, than I think this color is worth checking out if you're looking for a pretty peachy-pink lip color.
