This soap is nothing special,it is not pure lavender scent as esential oil,I think pure lavender EO smells much better and you cna get better smell if you add few drops of EO into your shower gel. This is more on woody side and it doesn lather,I dont like it is dropping purple color down in the shower. And it is expensive. No I wouldnt buy it again.

this is a really nice soap, if you enjoy the smell of herbs and natural scents.it is a little strong but would be nice for using before you go to bed. i love the color, however it does drip red/purple all over the bathroom, but it doesnt seem to stain, just make sure you rinse it all off. this is the first soap i have tried from them and honestly, i will probably try other ones after this one is gone, only because i want to try all the other scents. all in all, the smell grew on me, but the soap melted SO quickly that it seems to be not really worth the money..

This soap is amazing! I only bought it today and I already really really like it! the smell is lovely, not overpowering but you can definitely smell it without putting it up to your nose and it lasts on your skin after use too! It does not dry out your skin and leaves it feeling soft and comfortable. It is £3.87 for 100g which is a fairly big soap as it does not melt away. 10/10!!!

LUSH soap always "scents up" my bathroom hours after I use them in the shower. I love the strong fragrance. This is my ALL time favorite. Would have rated this a 5, but it's so pricey & it melts very quick.

I don't care for the scent and it seems that is the only thing this soap has going for it. It doesn't lather, it just seems like a bar of wax. It melts away super fast and it does have alot of red/purple coloring coming off of it when you use it. The bits of leaves (?) end up sticking to your body too and you have to watch where they go like a hawk so you can rub them off. I would definately not repurchase or recommend.

I loved this when it first came out. A simple Lavendar soap. It does not seem to be as popular as you would think. I love it, and often go back to it when I need some serious stress relief. I love that LUSH has so many Lavendar products so you can have a wonderful , relaxing Lavendar bath.

I can't imagine a life without my lush soaps anymore.
They really clean me up well and the scents are great but not too strong. This cleans better than any shower gel thought I would not use it on my legs because it just dries out too much on dry parts of your skin.

Though I thought this smelled really pretty it melted like a mofo all down my tub. If I'm paying that much for soap, it better lather, last, clean, and be downright amazing. This was not.

Love this relaxing lavender, Merlot grape scent. Reminds me of my trip to France. Perfect soap if you need a relaxing shower or bath. A personal favorite of mine. Doesn't dry out my parched winter skin either.

Ugh, I hate this soap! The dark purple/red color stained the sides of my tub something awful (it did come off with scrubbing bubbles, but still!) and if I took a quick hop in the shower and didn't catch all of the soap to get it rinsed off, the smallest bit of residue stained the heck out of my pretty cream colored towels (i kept a bottle of spray and wash near by and sprayed and scrubbed it out, but that was rough and damaging to my towels). The smell was disgusting and overpowering, almost reminded me of wood -- ugh. Also, it was used up in about a week and a half when a bar that size of dove would last a month or more! What a rip off when it cost more than double a bar of dove. Hate hate hate this soap! Oh, and I almost forgot, this soap DOES NOT LATHER, AT ALL.

Love the rich purple color of this soap and the lavender scent. The scent doesn't linger but it's great to enjoy when you're washing your hands!

The scent is overwhelmingly lavendar and little else, rosemary maybe? Two major break points for me is the bright purple dye (bright purple dye streaming down your leg and in your tub) and the fact that the product just doesn't last at all (this lasted all of two seconds in the shower, I can't imagine how quickly a whole bar must go and after you paid so much money for this!) Honestly not worth it, seems no different than any run of the mill lavendar glycerin soap. Try Dr. Bronner's Lavendar soap. At least thats cheap, fair trade.

This is the only LUSH bath item that I have *ever* had issues using up. It smells sooo strong (of lavender and LEMON juice-not grape juice) that I try to only use it to put me to sleep or if/when I'm sick. I started using it with a scrubbie on my feet just to use it up but it turned the scrubbie bright pink and not in a good way :( this soap is extremely colored.. like there are spots of fuschia all over my shower after I use it, lol.

Best Lush soap EVAR. I love this one on summer evenings... the lavender scent really makes me feel clean and cool and ready for bed. The bar is a gorgeous deep purple, but be warned that if you leave it on the tub it *will* stain your grouting. I've been through three bars of the stuff in three summers.

I agree with the mediciny smell! LOL i got this as a free sample in my last order of LUSH... It is a BIG piece though for the price! I only wish they made better smelling ones this size! When I used this I noticed that it rinsed of purple, which may stain your tub with repeated use... its not that moisturizing compared to other soaps that they offer... so I probably won't buy it again.

This is a beautiful true lavendar soap with grape, thyme, and rosemary. It smells great, woodsy, and lavendary, very relaxing.

I love most LUSH stuff especially because they can make those lovely earthy woodsy scents and the spicy ones smell so good. Not this one. It smelled of fake flowers (like plastic scented flowers!) and some kind of medicinal product. Like most LUSH soaps, it melts quickly but since it is alos very purple, I have all these purple pools and streaks everywhere. It is nice on the skin like I find most of their moisturizing soaps, but not worth smelling like I jsut came from the doctor and he used a sanitizer and then hung an old funeral 'all weather" flower around my neck.
This may be the first truly neggative LUSH review I ever wrote! waaaah!
