I'm also impressed by this one. It really is a classic white shimmering eyeshadow- a staple in any complete makeup kit. It's great for highlighting the eye area and brightening things up.

OH!!! I'm impress with this one, I needed a white shadow and this one is perfect, is shimmery and it goes so smooth, blends like a dream and lasts.
It is not like MAC pigment Vanilla, which flashes with gold?? Opal flashes like a very very light silver, white silver. LOVE IT! I'll repurchase.
I compare UD polyester bride with Opal, and UD is worthless, ( hate the glitter).

Fabulous off-white shimmer! I use this frequently as a wash with grays, silvers, and blue-violets and it never fails to give that brightening finesse to me eye. I completely agree with the other reviewers who were touting its great ability to enhance and brighten the inner corner of the eye. It provides that perfect soft, almost dewey hint of pearly glimmer. So pretty and versatile. Never looks harsh.

Amazing. This is the best color ever for the tear ducts. Completely brightens the eye area.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Acne-prone, Olive Hair: Brunette Eyes: Brown
Opal is pretty standard, its a slightly off white shimmer shade. It doesnt have any color flashing or changing like the name might imply. Looks great as a highlighter. Not very unique but a great basic.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Combination, Medium, Warm Hair: Brunette, Straight Eyes: Brown
This is color is a sheer slightly shimmery off white color. This is great as a highlighter but not very exciting.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Dry, Fair, Neutral Hair: Brown, Straight, Medium Eyes: Blue
Opal glimmer is a pale cream yellow color with lots of shimmer. It makes a beautiful highlighter. Opal reminds me a lot of MAC Vanilla pigment. Opal is brighter and less golden toned than MAC Vanilla. Overall, it's a great color and when I was at a BE boutique, one of the M/U artists kept using it on the lips to lighten the lipstick and give it a lot of shine. It's very pretty and versatile.
