This smells exactly like Ginger edp, one of my favourite fragrances. So of course I had to try it. It works nicely as a bath bomb but to be honest I'm more of a shower person- baths are not really my thing. But since I'm crazy about the rosy/powdery smell of Ginger Man, I repurchased it and broke it into 5 parts- wrapped up each with some soft paper and put in my underwear drawer. The scent is quite strong and makes everything smell so fancy. Just like rose petals. :)

I got this bath bomb free during the xmas shopping time because I spent soo much $$ at Lush.
What I like:
- the shape is cute
-the smell - don't love it, but it is ok, didn't really smell much ginger, it smelled a little like the big blue and a lot more musky and "aftershave-ish" than I thought - at first, but then it went away. It was not bad, just a little more masculine.

There is nothing I really hate about this bath bomb. It is kind of plain, it does not color the water. The scent is not strong, towards the end of the bath it was pretty much gone, and after getting out I could still smell it on my skin but just a little bit.
It is a little bit moisturizing, but nothing big. My skin still felt like it needed more moisture afterwards (I have really dry skin in winter)
I would not spend $7 on it...but if I get it again as a gift or in a swap, I will use it.

The only ginger product I can handle to use. It actually works well with other products.

Who can resist the cuteness of a lil pink gingerman? I couldn't; so I had to get 2 for my girls, along with the gingerman soap in the same shape, and they loved them. I personally didn't like the scent, but it does soften water well, and well...it's cute!

I will buy again for the girls, but it's not a staple for me personally.

I did not like this scent and it lingered for too long. I think if you can handle the scent it would be ok.

Upon hearing that Ginger Man is being discontinued, I decided to give it a try, even though I'm not too keen on LUSH's ginger line or any ginger scent in particular. However, my Ginger Man didn't smell at all like any other ginger product from LUSH. I've tried the ginger powder, soap and fragrance from LUSH and didn't appreciate any of them. Interestingly enough, the first thing that came to my mind once the cute little Ginger Man started fizzing away was how much it smelled like Big Blue. Considering that they don't share ANY common ingredients, I find this really odd, but even the scent that lingered on my skin later on smelled just like a more floral version of Big Blue. Ginger Man didn't color my water but softened it quite a bit and my skin felt soft and smelled nice once out of the tub. All in all, this was a nice, average bath product but nothing spectacular.

Cute little gingerman shape, but not a lot of softening or fragrance compared to the other Lush bath bombs. Hard not to fall for the gingerbread guy in the store, but I would spend the $$ on other bath bombs w/more fragrance.

One of my fave bath bombs. One will last through 4 baths that is when I start breaking his arms and legs. Poor gingerman!!!!! Really nice scent of rose and jasmine, makes the whole house smell good.

I agree with the previous reviews - a pretty ordinary bath bomb for the price. It is a cute pink gingerbread man but the bubbles just don't last at all. The scent is a pleasant combination of ginger and ylang ylang but with the cute shape - I was hoping for more ginger. Nice to give as a gift but I wouldn't repurchase for my own use.

Overall, this was a nice, refreshing bath bomb, but nothing fantastic. It is pretty expensive considering how long it fizzes out. It makes a cute gift, but I will not purchase this for myself again.

This is one of the more expensive ballistics, at USD $5.20. To me, it's not one of the more exciting ballistics, sadly. It turns the water a pale pink color, and I smelled mostly ylang ylang--not ginger. My Ginger Man bath was pleasant, but this would not be a repurchase.

UPDATE: Okay, I'm back, giving Ginger Man one more l/s and a "yes I would repurchase". (I still think it's very expensive.) I gave the GM another chance, and as with many Lush products, I like him a lot more the second time around. I think I had an expectation that this product would actually have a strong, true ginger scent (similar to Origins Ginger Essence)...this being Lush, though, you of course don't get the obvious. I've grown to really like the GM's ylang ylang/geranium/rose with a *touch* of ginger scent.
