I have been using Quo Bags Away for about 8 years now. The first time I got it was for my Graduation, I had a huge zit in the middle of my nose, that turned into a hole from picking :( My sister bought me this product and did my makeup. I could hardly see the mark after she used this to cover it up. I now use it daily for under my eyes and any other spots I need more coverage. LOVE IT!!!

This is a so-so concealer for the following reasons. It is quite thick and requires warming and blending with your fingers. So, forget about applying it with a concealer brush. It gives OK coverage for the bags under my eyes. However, because of its consistency, it creases like mad! It also has a tendency to 'move' around if you don't set it properly with powder.

I got this once as a sample many years ago and this completely covered up all my dark eye circles.
It is a thick formula so it's best to use and apply with your fingers as it warms up the concealer.
You have to be careful not to overapply the lightest concealer or else you will have that telltale light colored ring under your eye. This is something I definitely repurchased when it ran out.

I got this from Shoppers Drug Mart, and I'm from the States, and this stuff was $19 canadian dollars which very expensive for concealer but the colors are creamy and yellow enough to cover my severe dark circles. I'm have medium toned skin, and I bought this in shade "Bags Away 2". I would compare their line to MAC. Ill update my results in few weeks.

i have this concealer in the darkest shade available. i use a concealing brush with this product because it's thick as a mofo. i sweep over all 3 shades starting from the lightest to the darkest only once and then apply. it works alright. it is however cakey but covers well. i use it to go to non exciting places like work and the grocery store. the older pot version to this is better. i found it to be more creamy. because it's so thick, it pulls at the skin under my eye which i dont think is good in the long run.. i might stop using this product after i run out because of the thickness and non ease of application. doesnt make me break out. doesnt have a scent. the packaging is cute. not hard to open.

Not a bad little set of concealers, you have to use the yellow shade sparingly though or you will look like you have jaundice. I mix the dark and light shade together, seems to last well and not settle into fine lines or cake. I hate the package, it is very hard to open and it's annoying.

I just bought this concealer on New Years Eve and I'm not 100% sold on it yet. I use all 3 colours to cover up my really dark circles. It covers better than any other product I've ever used. It doesn't seem to cake up in my fine lines, but it does look dried our under my eyes even though I apply an eye cream just before I appy this product. I would probably buy this again, since there are not a lot of options in the area that I live. I have found many of the other reviews about this product helpful. Still, if "they" ever invent a plastic surgery to get rid of dark circles, sign me up.
***Update March 3/06
I haven't used this in a few weeks. I can't seem to find a way to use this that it doesn't look really caked up. I tried mixing it with moisturizer, putting in on right after applying moisturizer, warming it up.....It just looks bad no matter what. I am really disappointed because the colours do cover most of my dark circles.

I've used this product for over a year mainly for blemish cover up and it's great. What I do with the three colours is that I pre-make a small batch in a separate container by mixing the three colours to get the perfect shade for my skin tone. So there is no need to spend time on mixing every time and I know the colour is constant and works for my skin tone. I apply it on the blemishes with a small yet firm brush and blends outwards lightly after. After dusting some powder on top, it stays covered for a whole day. Because it's thick and dry, it does not smudge and stays put.
I haven't tried this product under the dark circles (I know this was made for that reason) because my previous experience with any under eye concealer was horrible, but I think it might have been my technique, so I will give another try and update how it goes with dark circle cover up.

I bought this one once before when it came in a little round pot, and I liked that packaging a lot more. I'm also generally not fond of concealers that don't come with wands... especially this one, because it's waaaaaaay too dry to apply with a brush, so you have to stick your dirty ol' fingers in it. However, because it's so thick and dry, I find it covers fairly well and isn't as prone to creasing on me as most concealers are (I have yet to find one that doesn't crease at all). There's a bit of a trick to applying this one... you have to warm it up like mad before you even try to apply it... in a pinch, I've even blasted it with a hairdryer just to warm it up a bit, but body heat is usually sufficient. You have to dab it on, because you don't want to be tugging at the skin around your eyes, obviously... then blend as if your life depended on it! Just make sure it doesn't look too thick or crepey after you put it on... I find running my ring finger gently over it a few times blends it in sufficiently. Definitely labour intensive, and not perfect... but so far it's the best I've tried.

At first I was disappointed when I used the yellow as I thought it would help neutralize my black/blue VERY dark circles. It did not... unfortunately it drew more attention to them :(
I then tried mixing a couple of the colors and this didn't work either.
Finally after about the 3rd or 4th try I used the darkest shade and was suprised and pleased to find it was a perfect match!!
I wouldn't have guessed this as I thought the darkest shade looked far darker than my skin color ... guess not.
I read in other posts that this concealer is dry and heavy... I find that if I apply an eye cream before it seems to eleviate the dryness.
I would have given this product a 5 except the yellow color is a waste for me as it doesn't seem to mix with my skin tone.
To date, this is the best concealer I've found.
I will definitely purchase again!

I never understood the hype about this product either. I received a free sample of it when the Quo line first launched a few years ago and it was so disgusting. The consistency is thick, but hard. It feel like smearing mud on your face when you put this on. All of the colors are TOO yellow (yes, that is possible) and they look fake. You're better off buying a decent MAC concealer to match your skintone instead of this.

My only complaint about this stuff is that it outlasts everything else on my face. Applying it is easier with a lip brush: breathe on the pallette to soften it, then pick it up with the brush to apply. Stay away from the yellow section: the other two have enough pigment to cover what needs to be covered without looking jaundice-y.
I agree that it's cakey- I've regretted it every time I've used it on those little outer-eye circles- but it's the hands-down champ for the major blue streaks near the nose (where it's oilier anyway, which tempers the dry formula without diluting it).

This product gets really cakey and it makes it really obvious dat ur wearing concealer. so my advice when using dis product is to use as little coverage as possible. I rarely use da dark shade because it doesn't really help. The yellow shade makes ur eye area look too yellow. Some of my friends come up to me and say "are you wearing concealer?" And when you put on mascara with dis concealer, it leaves dis black print after a while... which is VERY annoying. But it really does help make your bags sorta disappear( but da puffiness still shows). If ur using dis product you should consider the disadvantages.

I have been using MAC select to cover my under eye circles for over a yr now and I got Bags Away because I had heard some great things about it. Everything I hear was right. This is a thick consistancy so it stays put. I use all 3 shades(the medium color wheel) to mix a perfect cover up for eyes and it works! I look wide eyed andawake and don't look so drawn and tired(like I actually am with a 3 yr old lol)
This stuff is great, and altho it can be drying...just pop some eye cream underneath and it's wonderful!

I rarely used the darker color, if ever. I usually used the yellow tone for the undereye are mixed with a little peachy color. i have asian skin btw! so, it is a little dry but rub it betw ur fingers and it should be easy to apply. but...it can increaase mascara makeup from eyes...the creapage factor and raccoon eye factor. so if you are asian and monolid be sure to curl those lashes and get them safely out of the way. overall i liked this product. decent for the price and lasts a long long time before it just gets too dry.
also, use it as a great concealer! i was amazed at how well it doubled for concealer - try it sometime! on uneven skins spots or blemishes.

Reading the previous reviews, I noticed that most women say they NEVER use the darker colour! I ONLY use the dark colour! If they sold it just as that alone, I would buy this time and time again. The consistency is great and it stays where you put it. It also brightens up my whole eye area. For the women that find it drying..try using an eye cream underneath it. Definately a great buy!
p.s. Just for a test, I put a little of the yellow and light colours on my fingertips...dabbed it lightly on a section of a vein on my hand...and guess what? It disappeared. I think I might experiment more with the yellow and pale =)

I've used this product for about a year now and after discovering that yes, there are better concealers out there, I'll never buy it again. If you have VERY pronounced dark circles like me and would never leave the house without proper coverage, then yes, it's fine for that. It DOES cover well, but it's not the kind of makeup that can be re-applied over a first coat, and it doesn't have any staying power, even though it's thick. It settles into creases and looks disgusting. If you wear mascara, it'll rub off onto the concealer under your eyes, wreck everything and look like crap. Never again.

I've had this for about two years, and at first I thought it was really great. I was okay with carefully blending all three of the really thick shades into one to match my skin. But now I've given up on it. I think it's too thick and waxy and I'm much more content with my Revlon sheer illusions wand for lighter, much more natural coverage.
