I got the travel size of this at sephora. I mix it with a glossing serum and apply to towel dried hair for frizz calming and it works well. I have layered asian hair and it gives a good finish without being heavy.

very happy with this. I have sort of coarse, wavy (part curly part straight) rediculous hair which tends to frizz and pouf up, and this makes it look like it has some purpose in life. I refuse to blow dry my hair, so I just smoosh a good amount into my damp hair, comb it through with my fingers, let it air dry, and I wake up to better looking hair. doesn't get rid of frizz entirely, but much more than I expected.

I like the squirty tube, and the scent is light and inoffensive. It's pricey, but considering it's the only hair product I'm using at the moment, and it allows me to put almost no effort into my hair, it's worth it.

I had this 5 years ago and didn't get that great results. Back then, I used a tiny, tiny dollop and mostly on dry hair, only in the ends. I thought of it as a smoothing product only, something to use very sparingly in my long, fine, pretty soft and healthy hair. I did mix it with surf spray in damp hair sometimes, but again a very small amount. Liked it, but wasn't thrilled enough to keep using it.

Recently it caught my eye again at Sephora, where a SA taught me a new and much better way to use it. She dampened my hair with Prep and put Grooming Creme ALL OVER my hair, and in huuuuuge amounts compared to how I've previously used it. This gave me a sexy, tousled beachy-look full of body. Like when I use a lot of surf spray, but without any crunch, so much softer and nicer to touch. My biggest surprise was the fact that it turned out absolutely non greasy or heavy, something I'm always afraid of with styling products. Needless to say, I bought a new full sized tube. This is a nice alternative to my Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray and surf sprays for the volume and soft texture I'm always seeking. Fine haired girls, do not be afraid to use enough of this wonderful cream. It is definitely so much more than a smoothing product.

EDIT: so I figured out how to make this work: mix a pea size amount with 2 pea size amount of Styling Creme and work into my towel dried roots only. Voila! Natural volume and hold.

EDIT: hm...it makes my hair soft but it also makes my ends a little choppy now.

I have long and layered straight slightly course Asian hair. I use a pea size amount mixed w Bumble Straight on damp hair and blow dry. This makes my hair soft and smooth, especially the ends and it helps the layers lay flat. A little goes a long way and keep off your roots! Worth every penny!

I had read about this and it sounded promising. I have curly, coarse, un processed hair past shoulder length which is protein sensitive. I have tried zillions of products from all well known salon brands to supermarket brands.
First used the product when I purchased the other day as left house with no product, hair almost dry and I put a bit of this in and instantly it was better, I could wear hair down!
Next time I used it after washing and conditioning on very damp hair, starting at the nape then on midlength to ends smoothing hands over top. Went to bed and woken up with bouncy tousled, frizz free soft curls and waves!!!! Amazing!
I like the ingredients, they are almost the make up of a perfect leave in conditioner with the added bonus of a bit of hold.
It is expensive but you don't need much, certainly not as much as the video on the bumble and bumble website! I used about 10p size fir under and 10p size on midlengths to ends.
Packaging nice and bit quirky as long as it does break later!
All in all very good at the moment I am thinking OMG really at last something that is working and is preventing me from going for the chop.
I will keep using but if my thoughts change I will update!

Am I missing something here? Is this product supposed to actually do something for my hair? I used this for the first time yesterday and it did nothing for my hair. In fact my hair actually looked frizzier and felt sticky after I used this. For reference I have fine hair that's somewhere between straight and wavy.

This product worked great the first time I used it on my thick, kind of fine, wavy hair. But, after a time or two, my hair started to feel very dull. I should've looked at the label before purchasing... because I would've seen that this very expensive product contained very cheap silicones, which just build up on my hair very quickly despite thorough washings. That's a real pet peeve for me... charging big bucks for cheap ingredients. YUK!

EDIT 03/28/12---I will absolutely NOT repurchase any B&B products until they choose to quit misleading their customers about animal testing.

Awesome. I look like I got a blowout from a salon every morning. It keeps my thick, fine hair looking smooth without weighing it down or looking oily. I have some funky action in the back that can get dry as the day goes on but not when I use Grooming Creme. The smell is clean. The price is high, but it only takes a smidge so I won't hesitate to repurchase. It is the best product I have ever used like this.

Bought it for my hubby, and now I use it more! It's great for my thick hair. I put it in damp hair and blow-dry. It tames flyaways and leaves hair polished.

Great product. I have fine hair and I use this when I want my hair to look polished without being over-styled or weighed down -- it's perfect. The Grooming Creme is pricey, but a little goes a long way so my tube has lasted me a long time. Would definitely recommend for women with fine hair.

Age: 25-29   Skin: Sensitive, Fair, Warm   Hair: Red, Curly, Coarse   Eyes: Blue

This is the BEST styling product I've found for my very thick, frizzy curly hair to date, even though I don't think it is particularly marketed for curly hair. I apply liberally on towel dried hair, comb through, and air dry. My curls turn out defined and smooth, never crunchy or stiff. My boyfriend also uses and loves it for his curly hair...in fact he was the one who introduced me to it! The only problem I have with it is the price. It's $28 dollars, and with thick hair like mine a tube doesn't last long. I also wish they could improve a little on the packaging...maybe sell a larger size with a punp instead of a twist top. A little tip: when the tube seems empty, cut it open and there will a good amount of product still in there...good for 1 or more applications worth depending on the length/thickness of your hair.

Love this! I've been using the bumble and bumble styling creme for the last few years, and decided to give this a try after a new cut. I got the smaller size, and I love the design of the container - very easy to dispense the right amount of product.

I have very thick, wavy hair that's prone to flyaways and frizz. This tames frizz while giving me that easy, tousled look I crave - I use a nickel-size dollop of this and work it into my hair when it's damp. I'll tie it into a bun and leave it to air-dry. This is thicker yet smoother than the styling creme, and a little goes a long way!

Yuck. I got a free sample of this from my salon. I used as very small amount on my damp hair as directed. I blow dried with no problem, but when I flat ironed my hair turned completely greasy and looked wet! I had to wash my hair again, it looked so nasty. Disgusting. Needless to say, I threw the rest of the sample away.

This stuff is OMG! Yes that good. It is just a finishing cream and it is like a miracle on my hair. It puts down those little flyaways and makes my hair soft and shiny. I put around a pea size or smaller amount in my hands and start in the back underneath and finish at the top of my hair and in my bangs. A little goes a long way. I have one of the small half sized bottles and its lasted me six months and I'm still not done! You definitley have to use small amounts of this. You can also put it in your hair when it is damp and it makes your hair super soft!

Uck. Makes my hair sticky and stiff. Would not try this again. Might work better for someone with very coarse hair? Don't know. Also, did not enjoy the smell, which I found kind of medicinal.

So, this is one of those products that I wish I had never tried. I wish this because now I find myself addicted to a ludicrously-priced hair product. The only upshot of this is that I only use a tiny amount every day so I think it will last for a long time. I have naturally wavy hair that, when coaxed properly, will curl pretty decently. I rarely try to wear it curly though, as it falls flat throughout the day (and I hate putting the ton of products required to make it stay curled). So, I usually blow it dry with a smaller round brush so it is frizz-free but has some wavy movement at the bottom. I find that a little bit of this on the ends of my hair after it has been blown dry works much better than trying to use a greasy anti-frizz serum or glossing drops. This product doesn't add any extra shine, but smooths the hair enough to allow the natural shine to come through. But, it is VERY easy to use too much. I start with what seems like a uselessly small amount, rub in hands to warm up , then smooth onto ends by dragging the hair through my palms to coat the whole strand. Then repeat until all looks smooth. Unlike other smoothing products I have tried (clear, sticky, silicone-laden ones), this does not look greasy or weigh down the waviness. Just enhances.

I tried this once a few years ago and didn't like it- I think I used too much and my hair felt weighed down. I have thick and wavy hair, not colored, and I never blow-dry- I apply some kind of leave-in product or spray, with a little mouse of curling gel, and let it airdry. So I tried this again, spritzing my head first with L'Oreal Everpure conditioning spray, then I took a nickel-sized amount of this and ran it through my hair- I didn't put much by the roots, but then I left it. My hair was FANTASTIC- silky soft, smooth, VERY wavy- it was perfect. I have used it on its own without and other sprays or creams before, with a tiny dab of Brilliantine mixed in, a tiny dab of just this cream with a ball of JF Luxurious Volume mousse- over Sally Hershberger style primer- it ALWAYS works. I get great body, no greasiness, good wave, smoothness and good shine. It's a great buy though I would be there is something MUCH cheaper out there that works just as well. This tube at 5 oz will last me a LONG time though- at least 2 years!

I've been searching for styling products for my recent pixie cut; I purchased this along with TIGI Hard to Get. I should have known better than to apply this to my very fine hair, as the cream is rife with oils (my hair does not usually tolerate oils). After application and styling, my hair adopted an unattractive shine--the sort only imparted by an oil. My hair is balanced but leans toward dryness and had been washed the previous night, but after applying this product it was noticeably heavier and rather unkempt. The end result was a perfect image of what my hair normally looks like if left untouched for 3-4 days. I cannot recommend this product for those with similarly fine hair; I do imagine it would suit those with hair of a coarser texture.

I used to use B&B's styling creme, and while I liked the results, I found it a bit stiff and slightly difficult to work with. I got a sample of the grooming creme, and added it to the styling creme before I blew my hair dry. It made a world of difference. The two together holds my style in place (I blow dry with a big round brush) and my hair looks incredibly shiny and feels wonderfully soft and touchable. On its own, the grooming creme works beautifully as well. It just makes hair soft, shiny and manageable. I love it! My sample is only 7 ml and has lasted weeks. I just bought the full size and I imagine that will last me about a year- a little goes a long way!

I have fine [but lots of] curly, somewhat dry hair. Usually to achieve the look of bouncy, frizz free ringlets, I'd have to use about 3 products, a creme, a gel, and a spray. Not so with the grooming creme!!! This was first used on me years ago, and I had bouncy, shiny, Shirley Temple ringlets the day of and even the day after! I repurchased recently, and I noticed that with two dollops smoothed throughout my mane I achieve the same bouncy beautiful effect. I love that this is an all-in-one product for me. Would definitely repurchase again and again.
