About me: NW13 (neutral-cool toned, very fair), blue eyes, Color season is True Summer, Baumann Skin Type is OSPW.
I tried this product once when I was NW13, it was too orange for my cool-toned skin. However, when I use self tanner in the summer, NC20-25, this bronzer is perfect, and almost too light. a good transition bronzer.

I have been looking for a good bronzer for years because Prescriptives discontinued the one I used previously. I am very picky because I have sensitive skin / mild rosacea that is easily irritated. I have tried tons of bronzers -Benefit ,Guerlain , Drugstore brands...you name it, I probably tried it. This is by far the best one for my sensitive, fair skin.
What I liked about it-
it is not irritating
it is not real shimmery
it is not orange or red , more like a light brown/ tan
the color works on fair skin
there is a lot of product in the pan
the case is the typical protective Nars case which I like because I tend to drop things.
What you might not like- -
There is no brush included. I never use the brushes that come with makeup , but if you do then this could be a downside especially if you carry makeup in your purse and need to put a brush in there as well as the bronzer.

I jumped on the NARS Laguna bandwagon and I'm not completely enthused. I'd like to give it 3.5 stars if I had the option.
The colour is a bit too "flat" and I think if you're not careful, it can look like dirt on your face. I use a light touch when I apply, especially on the cheeks. I don't use it to contour because of the shimmer; my face ends up looking 'wider' and my face is round shaped already!
I think I'd use this more when I've got more colour in the summer and even then, I'm not sure I'd reach it for all that often compared to Shiseido's Medium bronzer, or Bobbi Brown's Medium bronzer.
I would recommend road testing this bronzer before purchasing.

I have this bronzer in the Orgasm/Laguna duo and I loooove it! I purchased Benefit Hoola in a full size and let me tell you....I regret it! Hoola is alright, but Laguna is just amaaaazing. When I dust Laguna on or below my cheekbones, I get a ebeautiful bronze glow or a slight contour, respectively, that looks natural even with the sheen. Hoola on the other hand, looks muddy. Maybe I'm applying too much... maybe my heart belongs to Laguna...or maybe Laguna is the superior bronzer! I will buy the full size when I finish the duo.

I'm an nc10-15 but this still isn't the best for contouring, it's great for general bronzing. For actual contouring, use Casino. Still totally worth owning though.

Wow. This is a product that Iam definitely not in the majority with (this & Orgasm). What I like about this bronzer is that it's brown, not orange & that it's not too glittery. That's where the good qualities stop. It didn't look natural on my skin, it actually made my face look dirty. This does streak easily, so you have to make sure you blend this very well. I like the packaging, & the fact that this comes with a lot of bronzer. This is expensive, I think it's around $36 or something like that. I ended up returning this & I would not buy this again. I think this is hyped up to be more than it really is. I will stick to my Bobbi Brown bronzer, which works much better.

I have to admit, I started using Laguna over five years ago, and absolutely fell in love. Its a nice, sheer brown with slight red/golden undertones that really mimics a true natural tan. Its very pigmented and a little goes a long way. However, I couldn't resist trying to find a better bronzer, and have tried everything from Guerlain, Chanel, Estee Lauder to Benefit, Tarte, and Dior. I may stray from time to time, but I always come back to Laguna. Other bronzers can turn orange, have too much shimmer, and don't wear as well as Laguna. Laguna does have a very fine shimmer to it, but its nothing noticeable on the face in fact it just adds believable radiance. Use a light hand, and you can't go wrong. I'd say this would work for a variety of skin tones.

Laguna is actually my favorite bronzer. I always went for matte bronzers but this has a slight glow to it that is gorgeous on the skin without looking shimmery. The packaging is lovely and sturdy. I would definitely recommend.

After hearing so many good things about this product, I decided to try it out. I hate it!!! I used it every day for a week, so i gave it a good run. I have nc25 skin and it should look great. But it's so orange on me. But that's not even why I hate it. It is SO blotchy! I used numerous brushes to apply it, but it blotches horribly. And it blends way too well, if that's possible. When I lightly blend it, it disappears!!!!! I hate it and I will be returning it.

I have been using this on and off for about 10 years. I try other brands but always go back to this. Matte bronze and stays on all day.

Had this for a while now & it was worth the purchase. The colour is great & very natural, and it just glides on & blends like a dream. Very happy with this in comparison to alot of other bronzers out there.

I know everyone loves this product so I hate giving a negative review but I just have to say...this bronzer does not show up on me?! I have it as a duo with the Orgasm blush (which I love), but for some reason I can't get this bronzer to show up on me. I am very fair skinned (NW 20) so it doesn't make sense...I've tried every type of brush and even just swatching on my hand shows nothing so I'm starting to wonder if I got a faulty product or something.

I'm on a blush and bronzer kick. I went on a little splurge at sephora and picked this up. I heard a lot about this but didn't expect it to be so gorgeous on. It's whatever in the compact but on my nc15/20 skin it's STUNNING. I would reccomend this to anyone that wants a subtle bronze look not the over the top tan type bronzer. This looks very natural and provides a lovely glow. Takes a lot to impress me. And I'm impressed. Was expensive but that didn't phase me since I was on a shopping spree. Be sure to use a quality brush with this as it is so finely milled. Love it!

When i first got NARS Laguna i was not expecting such a large amount of product, therefore i thought that it was a great price for the amount of product, but still very expensive, i was then very pleased with that! I was then became even more happy with the product when i realised that i only needed a very little to contour with, meaning that i was using hardly any product. I think that i will love this product for ever and would not leave the house with out it! I love the nice simple sleek packaging however when it is placed in my makeup draw with all my other bronzers i find it gets so dirty, i find that i am cleaning it pretty much everytime i take it out to use it (which is everyday!) i wish they would change the material that they use for the packaging then it would defo get a 5 for everything! Defo worth it.

I first purchased this product over a year ago on the influence of many online beauty junkies. At the time of my early use- the shimmery finish of the gold flecks of this bronzer did not compliment my flaking, broken out skin. I stopped using it, purchased another bronzer (bobbi brown) in replacement that was mattified, and since my skin has greatly improved I tried this product again since it was too large to not use and waste. I discovered the shade was better on me than the bobbi brown. It looks great in the summer and I love how it is easily blendable.

Love Laguna. Great colour. I use as bronzer but more often for contouring. Usual fab. NARS packaging. Big pan lasts. Colour lasts. Will definitely repurchase.

I heard a lot of good things about this product which is one of the main reasons as to why I wanted to try it out myself. I really wanted to love this stuff but it's just such a disappointment for me.
PROS:
- Love the minimalist packaging and I love the clarity of the mirror that comes with it.
-Depending on how much you use, they give you a pretty big amount of bronzer to work with.
- Buildable
CONS:
- Too expensive
- I don't really have a dark skin tone. I'm pretty much medium so I was left baffled when I found out I had to keep re-applying it to get the shade that I wanted. It was too light for me.
- I often find myself mixing it with a darker shade of bronzer (Bahama Mama - The Balm) to have a much more contoured look.
OVERALL:
I'd stick to Hula from Benefit. Never again will I buy such an expensive product that doesn't even own up to what it's suppose to do. Definitely not re-purchasing!

its so expensive at SGD 70 but this stuff is sooooooooo amazing, i love it so much, cos usually people will go back and forth on a straight line to contour right? but no i found that if you use circular motions to buff in the contour, it looks AMAZING, HANDS DOWN BEST HIGH END BRONZER EVER.
SGD 70
AVAILABLE AT TANGS!
I'm so getting a new one once mine finishes,
if they ever discontinue this, i will actually die.
cant live without this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really like this bronzer and can not say anything about it that hasn't already been said. The only thing I will say is that, for the price, it is not very long lasting and it ALWAYS breaks as soon as you hit pan - I am on my third compact and all have fallen to pieces long before they were used up. I use Laguna 4-5 days a week and a compact only lasts me about 4 months which when contrasted with the longevity of Benefit Hoola (which imo is equal in quality to Nars Laguna) is not very long as Hoola lasts me about a year and a half with the same amount of use. So, if anyone is torn between these two products and is on a budget or just looking for a bit more bang for their buck I would suggest Hoola over Laguna but otherwise Laguna is a great product that I would highly recommend.
