This one has become a staple for me. My brows are very dark (jet black) and I used different powders with an angled brush for evening looks, always worrying a little on whether it was "too much" (I used the dark stila brow powder-duo for evening or copperplate by Mac for softer day looks). the BB MUA used this one on me and highly recommended it. I went ahead - and love the result. I now frequently use this during the day, too. It gives subtle colour which I believe will go with a lot of dark brow colours. It definitely fills in mildly sparse areas which I have on the middle third of my brow. It is awesome for creating a slightly longer brow. Also, it is very forgiving - mistakes can be quickly wiped away. It stays on very well.
Oh and of course it grooms in form just as well as a clear gel, which I used to use with powders, only that it is less sticky. As I said I use it without powder unlike some others here, and find it works lovely!

BB Brow Shaper in Mahogany has rejuvenated my greying brows.
Actually, I mean that it covers the white hairs that get too numerous
to pluck out! Lasts well all day, then comes out easily at the end
of the day with facial cleansers of any kind. Awesome product, a HG for me. I also have Blonde which was a bit too light, though not bad.

Quite good as it makes my eyebrows a lot tidier. It is very long-lasting of course and it protects the brow powder quite well.

Quite good indeed!

I have a strong brow so I never thought that I needed to define my eyebrows. A friend who wasn't using this passed it along for my attention in a trade, and after I started using it, I couldn't figure out how I ever put on my face without it! Easy to use, I like the colour. I would recommend and when it's done I'll re-purchase.

My everyday staple eyebrow groomer. I have quite full brows and this helps to define while adding a touch of colour. I've repurchased this at least twice, and will continue using it. Much easier and more natural looking than an eyebrow pencil or powder.

A great brow groomer if you don't have sparse eyebrows. It just deepens my natural colour and tidies them to help me look well groomed. Nice and easy to use. Have noticed recently that one of my brows is a bit sparser than the other so have switched to Smashbox's Brow Tech to help fill in the gaps!

I've been filling in my eyebrows with dark brown eyeshadow and an angled brush for years, and Bobbi Brown brow shaper in Mahogany still required a while to get the hang of. I have one normal but thin brow, and a few sparse strands of hair where the other brow should be (genetic gift--my mom and sisters are the same way). The BB brow shaper--basically a stiff-bristled mascara wand--worked great on the normal brow, adding hold and depth in a natural-looking shade (I have black but not jet-black hair). But on the other brow, it resembled a fat magic marker. It was very, very difficult to get a thin line with it, and the product would be gloopy and look browner than my hair. I finally managed to get a not-too-scary look by lightly tracing the tip of the wand across the upper arch of my brow, and the brushing over it a few times (still using the tip). Basically, the same technique I can do in half the time with a brush and powder. I keep this brow shaper in my arsenal, though, because the color holds all day. I have very oily skin, and powder tends to smear by my evening commute. The mahogany brow shaper held even through an hour of cardio. Not bad. I have mixed feelings about recommending it. I'd buy again because I'm getting better at using it. But if you're looking for an easy, fool-proof tool--this isn't it.

I have been purchasing this product from Bobbi Brown for some time. It is the best brown shaper out there.

I have tried any and all brow groomers I know of. This one is by far the best yet. Very easy to use, doesn't clump or flake like Lancome's, color is natural unlike Origins's, and MAC's. Have already purchased back-up!
Update:This one flakes too.I have switched to Anastasia brow powder and LOVE it!

This product didnt work well for me at all. The basic idea of this product is to provide both colour and hold to the eyebrow. The idea of the time I would save using this instead of a brow powder then a clear brow shaper spurred me to buy this. The idea and concept is a good one but this product performed so badly I cannot recommend it. Firstly the colour is a little off, I have black brows so I took Bobbi's advice and purchased the mahogany shade I ended up looking as though I had smeared dark brown wax crayon on my brows. Upon closer inspection I noticed it had balled up on my hairs and flaked onto my cheeks and eye area. Also this product dried up after 3 weeks and I had only used it about 2-3 times at the most. At £13.00 I felt that this product was a complete waste of money especially as it had to go in the bin after 3 weeks. I would not recommend or repurchase.

I'm using my 2nd stick now. It's effective in shaping hairy brows. If you've sparse eyebrows, forget about this product because the "mascara-gooey" texture will smudge across your forehead!!!!

I like the idea of this product, but the consistency is too goopy and the brush too thick for a brown eyebrow mascara. And for all its goop, it only has very average hold. If your eyebrows are thinner than the wand and you don't want to Q-Tip the excess off, don't bother with this. Get the clear instead and continue to pencil/powder.
