I flew to Florida last week, planning to buy a new tube of Breathable sunblock there so I didn't have to pack one (luggage regulations). SO upset, I could not find it anywhere! Cannot find it up north now, and am nearly out of my last tube. Is it discontinued? No one seems to know.

It is the ONLY sunblock that ever left my skin feeling like skin instead of plastic. Neutrogena's new Sheer Dry stuff is crap and feels like slime.

I don't know what I'm going to use for sunblock now -- I work outdoors and use it 8 months a year. :-(((

I loved this sunscreen but it seems to have disappeared. Does anyone know if its been discontinued? I loved that it made my face soft and smooth. It was the perfect base for makeup and had a really nice creamy smell.

This is a very good sunscreen that doesn't feel greasy but stays on while you're out and about. I use this for my body, and Ultra Sheer on my face since Ultra Sheer has antioxidants. You still need to reapply, but this sunscreen is really nice.

Just picked this up last week to wear out and about - doing yard work, running, to and from the swimming pool - and I love it. I don't think it is greasy at all. Actually I think the texture is rather silky and it dries quickly without any residual stickiness.Best part is, it hasn't caused me to break out, which is a miracle in my book. I love it so much, I just bought another bottle of it to carry with me.

I am an active outdoorsy type and have experimented with several different high spf sunblocks and this is my fave by far. It rubs in easily and doesn't have an oily feel to it. It stays on for hours even after several hours of sweating and/or swimming. Contrary to others, I have not had any problems with "breaking-out" using this product.

I have oily skin and this turn so matte and powdery that it was perfect for me. Went on kind of creamy and absorbed on contact. Also did not sting or seep into my eyes. But - this product is not photostable and I do not feel like reapplying all day.

I really wish I could love this sunscreen. But it made me break out horribly, and not in acne, in some weird all over face rash. Just to make sure it wasn't something else, a month later I wore it again and I consistently got the rash again. I wish I could like it because I do this it does what is says, despite other reviews. I definitely didn't sting my eyes and seemed to stay put. Definitely did not look greasy like other sunscreens, and has a nice smell. I see that other people broke out on this, so I wonder what's in it that is doing this. I will be using up my tube on my legs, but won't be buying again.

This is a great sunscreen for your body, but not for the face if you intend to sweat. I have tried many sunscreens and this one does get in your eyes after sweating. But it is a great overall sunscreen that doesn't leave you feeling sticky after applying.

I bought this because I am using Retin-A for acne, and you need increased sun protection. I have mixed feelings about this sunscreen. I like the silky, powdery finish the silica provides, it's broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection, and a little seems to go a long way in terms of coverage. However... for a sport sunblock, it is NOT sweatproof and waterproof like it claims to be. I put this on, wait 20 minutes, go out in the sun, and immediately I've got stinging rivers of sunscreen in my eyes. It also stings my skin if I sweat while wearing it, but I'm sure that is the fault of the Retin-A and not this product. While I think this would probably be servicable as a body sunscreen, I will not be repurchasing it for my face. I've switched to big floppy hats and sunglasses for the time being. I wish I could afford La Roche Posay or Shisedo or something that really DOES stay put.

Bought this after reading the rave reviews here. Sorry to say that it not only stung my eyes something fierce, it really irritated my entire face. Not sure what it was in the product that I am so sensitive to. I put it on my body and it worked fine.

I really wanted to like this! I liked the Neutragena Ultra-Sheer spf 55, but it was a bit whitish for my dark skin...Both sunscreens mattify, but the Active Breathable Sunblock stung my eyes something fierce! I apply sunscreen around my eyes-usually don't have this problem. I had to wash my eyes, then wash my face, and almost 2 hours later, my eyes are still watering a bit. I noticed some people had this problem with both products. I guess it is up to the individual-it was much less white on my skin than the Dry Touch. I will probably finish the bottle on my body and keep the Dry Touch for my face.

I've had a good experience with this sunscreen so far. I have very oily skin, and most sunscreens just make me oilier. This sunscreen leaves a matte finish and absorbs oil well. I don't use it every day but on the days that I have used it, I have not broken out. I would definitely repurchase.

Wow HG sunblock. I <3 this. I've never had a sunblock that does so much for me. I'm usually and oil slick by the end of the day, despite blotting many times. The silica in this made me matte all day, works almost like a primer. Great protection, high spf w/o a white cast. My skin is left satiny smooth and pretty. Hasn't broken me out. Still has a sunscreen scent but it's much lighter than most (esp ultra sheer) and fades quickly. Don't use this product everyday, just on those days when I have PE and have to be outside to jog or something (:

I've been looking for something with sunscreen that wouldn't leave me greasy or broken out (I typically have oily skin so many sunscreens seem to do that to me); until recently I've been using Eucerin's Extra Protective Moisture Lotion SPF 30, which was fine for the winter, but leaves me greasy and oily as soon as it starts to dip over 70 or so. I used to use Neutrogena's Sheer Touch Dry sunblocks, but they always stung my eyes (Eucerin's moisturizer doesn't do that). Since Neutrogena's new sunblock claimed to "resist running into eyes", I thought I'd give it a try.

PROS: The silica in the formula helps absorb any oil I produce and the sunblock gives a satiny, rather than shiny finish which works well alone or as a base for cosmetics (assuming you give it enough time to "set"). It's only been three days so far, but it hasn't broken me out yet.

CONS: Like Neutrogena's Sheer Touch formulas, I cannot use this around my eyes--despite its supposed running into eyes-resistance, it did run--and burn, very badly. So I have to use Eucerin's lotion around my eyes and the Neutrogena sunscreen for the rest of my face, which does not simplify my routine. Also, like I said, I really have to wait for the formula to set (which is not just this sunblock, but for me at least, any that are chemical- rather than physical- based); otherwise, when I put other things on top, it starts to ball up and peel off. One other con: I cannot use it on my neck either--after the first day I developed a rash that disappeared after I stopped putting this sunscreen there.

Overall, I give this sunscreen a four out of five rating, because for its price, I like what it does (that is, sun protection and somewhat controlling my greasies while not breaking me out). However, it's not HG material for me (thus not a perfect rating) and I don't plan on repurchasing since it stung my eyes so badly.

Age: 30-35   Skin: Oily   Hair: Brown   Eyes: Green

Let me first say that I recently had 3 spots burned off my face that are considered pre-skin cancer. I am only 31 and have NEVER been a sun worshipper. My doctor told me to start wearing a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30. I have always had normal skin until last year, in which I have developed an oily T zone. I have changed moisturizer, tried oil mattifiers, and thought I was stuck with an oily face. I went looking for a sunscreen and found this product based on the reviews already posted. It is by far the best thing I have ever put on my face. It is very light, not greasy in the least, smells good, and best of all absorbs the oil from my T zone! I could not be happier with this product, and I know it is saving me from anymore dustructive damage from the sun's rays. It absorbs quickly, my foundation goes on smoothly, my face has a beautiful matte appearance now instead of a shiny gleam. If I tend to get too hot, a little oil may appear, but it really just looks more like a healthy glow, not like an oil well sprung a leak on my face. I love this product, and hope Neutrogena realizes how they have stolen the market when it comes to sunscreens, and in my opinion...oil mattifiers too. EDIT...I discovered my oily T zone was from the toner I used on my face...have since cut back, and will look for another one. This sunscreen is still an awesome product...love it!

I don't use this product everyday, as I have a few moisturizers that already contain SPF. This is the first ever s/s I've bought for the sole purpose of using it on my face. PROS: Has great SPF, doesn't break me out or irritate my skin, leaves my skin soft, love the smell. CONS: Does make my skin look somewhat greasy, but that IS fixable with powder. It also seems to make my m/u look not as... good as when I'm not wearing it. Once it gets warmer out and I'm outside more, I plan on using this everyday. I said that I'd repurchase this, but it's kinda if-y. It's not a bad product by any means, but there just might be something better for me out there...

Love this sunscreen! Doesn't make a goopy mess on my face which most sunscreens do. It just leaves a smooth finish and I know I am getting the sun protection I need :)

Great product! It is not sticky and does not leave an oily shiny finish and is readily absorbed into the skin. Most sunscreens just sit on my face feeling oily and looking like i put vaseline all over my face but this product does not do that. As compared to the SPF 30 version, this feels a bit more moisturizing in the sense that it feels like ive put a bit of lotion on my face. Keep in mind that it does so only a tiny tiny tiny but and some people might not notice as I am very critical. It is still a good product though I wil reach for the SPF 30 instead when I am looking for something that 100% completely is absorbed into my skin (i have combination skin). The spf45 would be better for those with dryer skin. Overall, I would still buy again.
