This moisturizer dried my skin. It did not help my oily skin. I ended up breaking out. And unfortunately, my skin doesn't tolerate fragrances.

I started using this product 5 days ago. It's made my face peel. I thought my skin was just dry, and so I put more on--and it's peeling more. For $25, this was a complete waste. I have yet to find an oil-free, fragrance-free, non-SPF moisurizer that doesn't cost a boatload of money. Considering I end up with full tubes of expensive products that I'll never use, why bother? It's just not for me, but I guess it works for some of you. Oh, and if anyone wants to buy this virtually unused bottle for $10, it's yours.

I'm changing my review- this made my skin feel tight and like plastic. Wouldn't buy again. I threw it out.

This moisturizer was awful!!! I have never written a hateful review but I hope I can save you $34 bucks on crap. First, it dries to a thick glue like finish that just feels SUFFOCATES your skin. I really made my skin feel tight like I had a mask on. I was initally really excited to find a non-comedogenic mattifying moisturizer. However, this product does NOT HYDRATE and it does NOT MATTIFY!!! I have combonation skin, oily in t zone and slightly dry around the mouth. About 1/2 hour after applying my skin was very oily again and I noticed my dry skin around my mouth was flaking. This product was expensive and I wanted to give it a second chance. Basically, I used this for a week and unfortunatly it did not get any better. When I purchased this, I honestly expected to hydate my skin enough to control my dryness but control my oil and dry to a nice matte finish. Aubrey Organics #5 is a great mattifying moisturizer that does both! I don't know why I switched. I am running back!!!!!!!!!!

I live in Singapore, where it's summer all year round with super-high levels of humidity, so finding a good matifying moisturiser is definitely a challenge. Every oil-free moisturiser I've tried (like Shiseido, Shu Uemura, Laneige, Clinique, Biotherm, L'oreal) claims to matify and prevent a shine-free face, but I've found that after a few hours, my face gets shiny, and I have to resort to using a blotter. But Ahava's moisturiser is amazing. It dries quickly after applying, and it truly matifies. Even after wearing it for an entire day, my face is completely matte! As a bonus, it's got SPF15 so I don't have to worry about applying sunblock too.

I have very oily skin and this product does keep my skin matte all day for the most part. It seems to work better than some moisturizers that claim they are oil free. I even like using this one at night. It has helped with my acne problem too. My only drawback is about the package--I wish it was clear so I can see how much I have left. THat way I can go and get more when I see it is low...otherwise, it runs out and BOOM...no more! I will repurchase this again..:)

My skin really didn't like this stuff. My last year of college, my skin changed in chemistry and suddenly became more oily than the combo-slightly oily that it normally was. I decided to try Ahava's Mattifying moisturizer, and the effects were terrible. My skin became parched, dry, tight, flaky and painful. My face was actually peeling! I continued to use it for a few weeks hoping that my skin would get used to it, but the dryness just got worse. I returned it right away and bought something else. I would rather have oily skin than painful, dry skin! Luckily, I have since found something else that works better for me, and I haven't had skin problems since.

I was looking for this in Belgium and the beautician in the store told me that the company has changed the Advanced Moisturiser to Mattifying Moisturiser. I'm not sure if that is true but I bought the latter one and tried it and it's really good!! The moisituriser is absorbed very quickly into my skin and leaves a slight tight feeling but I swear my pores has definitely shrunk! I love the whole skin care range for oily skin from AHAVA. The packaging is horrible though.

I'm used to using heavier moisturisers on my face, eventhough I have very spotprone skin. Lately I've been having blocked pores and blackheads, and I blamed my moisturiser ( Weleda Almond moisturiser) I got myself some samples of Ahava first, and was suprised by the effects. My skin feels a bit tight after applying this, but after a couple of minutes it feels pleasant and very soft.
Shine is nearly gone, and it really seems to shrink my pores.
I love the Ahava oily skincare range. It has done nothing but good things for my face.

Will save my Weleda moisturiser for winter and will use this as my everyday moisturiser!

I have acne prone skin. But in the winter, I get some eczema as well, (probably from the dry air or drying skin products I use) and I find this moisturizer is not greasy and leaves my skin very soft, and heals small dry spots. I put it on before going to sleep, after dabbing some toner, and my skin would glow in the morning. It doesn't aggravate my acne at all. However, I would use a heavier creme if you would like a lot of moisture on your skin. I don't really smell much fragrance on this moisturizer. Conclusion: This product is light (which is good for oily skin) and leaves skin soft but not super moisturized.

Very greasy, and most definitely not for combo-oily or acne-prone skin. This moisturizer sat on my skin and didn't hydrate; my face felt suffocated . Also, the fragrance was too strong. I wouldn't even use this on my body.

Normally I prefer fragrance free products but I must say that this moisturiser smells soooo yummy that I couldn't resist. As a moisturiser I found it to be pretty hydrating but basic. One of these days I'll be purchasing it again.

Love this one!
It's a very effective moisturiser, but never makes my skin break out or feel oily. Leaves my skin feeling really soft and smooth and replenished. Have turned a few friends onto this product ;)
Oh and my mum who has soriasis and very sensitive skin finds it great too! And it smells lovely!!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

This seemed very heavy even for my winter affected skin and seemed to leave a residue. Not my favorite product from ahava.

This is a super product that Ahava again has come out with! I love how it really deeply moisturizes my face and leaves it glowing but not oily or greasy. I am in love with this product especially in the cold Minnesota weather. This did'nt make me break out either which is so awesome and hard to find for us combo/oily gals =)
