If you're a chocoholic, this is absolutely the best! I've tried other chocolate-scented bath products but this has 70% cocoa fragrance! Sweetness is a bit low, but can definitely wake you up with the good dose of cocoa. Sad that they don't carry this anymore. It's kinda like Chocolate Chip Cookies but has richer cocoa than the sugar scent.

I was a little hesitant about this scent, but it came in a set so I gave it a shot and I really do love it! It really really smells like chocolate and makes my whole shower yummy. It lathers very well. I'm hooked on the 3 in 1 products.

To me, it really does smell like chocolate ice cream, and it's possibly a little moisturizing (though not nearly enough for me to use as shampoo). Mainly, I like the scent. I'm not a huge chocolate fan, but I like variety, and this is a nice change from the fruity The Body Shop shower gels I've been using, especially now that winter's come around. That said, I wouldn't necessarily repurchase, because there are still a lot of other shower gels I have to try and I'm not sure this product is something I'd really repurchase (as it was, this was a gift). So far, the only shower gel I'd repurchase for the scent is The Body Shop's Satsuma one.

Smells exactly like a bowl of chocolate ice cream, it's for chocolate lovers like myself who are trying not to eat as much of the stuff - well that's my opinion anyway!. I don't use this in a quick shower or bath I use it when I want an 'experience', it mixes beautifully will Cafe au Lait but not so good with Cinnamon Buns. It's always odd to me how different Philosophy 3-in-1 gels have differing effects on my skin when their ingredient base is the same, this one is quite moisturising and I've used it on my hair without a problem too - though it doesn't replace a conditioner by any means.
Very chocolatey and very lovely, I'd buy it again, or if not this exact one I'd deffinitely purchase a similar scent.

I love chocolate scents, and this one delivers. Smells very much like sweet, creamy chocolate Ice Cream. Very fun to use in the bath, I find it takes A LOT to use as a bubble bath to get any scent to stick around for the length of the bath, but 16oz. is huge, so I just use a bunch. This is fun to mix with an orange scent for a really good combo smell.

This smells exactly as promised. Thus, my lowish rating represents my personal bias. Unfortunately, I've had to downgrade this to gym soap, as the scent of melted chocolate ice cream at seven AM is plain old nauseating to me. Never could bring myself to try it on my hair, in case the scent lasted. That said, it is still a perfectly good bath gel.

At first whiff this really does smell like rich chocolatey ice cream. But after a while it turns into a rather strong fake plastic odor. Not something I look for in a bodywash. Thankfully, the smell doesn't last for very long. On the other hand it lathers up nicely and you only need a small amount. I'm not brave enough to use this on my hair. I will be using the rest of the bottle, but doubt if I will repurchase.

Smells sooooooo yummy (EXACTLY like chocolate icecream) and showering with it feels like slathering yourself with the real thing! Very luxe. Don't use it as a shampoo/conditioner though (I tried once and my hair was like straw). Only other thing was couldn't smell it once I'd gotten out of the shower!

This lathered up well and it smelt exactly like chocolate ice cream but for some reason I didn't really like the smell. As for a shampoo and conditioner it wasn't nearly moisterising enough. It's perfect for someone who wants to use a good shower/bath gel that smells of chocolate.

I think I am just not a body-wash kind of girl. I adore the smell of this, but since it doesn't last, it doesn't really do anything for me. I'd rather just use some $3 soap and then put on some nice scented lotion after my shower. But if you are looking for scent, this is amazing.

I love the smell of this product-I only wish it lasted longer. Or maybe they could make a lotion...anyway, I would definitely repurchase seeing as the whole family can't get enough of it!

I am on a chocolate scented body product kick right now and I love this body wash! It is a true chocolate ice cream scent, not synthetic or plasticky. I have used this almost every day for the last 6 months, and I haven't gotten tired of it. Even though it costs $16 it is for a 16 oz. bottle which will last forever! My only complaint is that I wish it came with a pump. The first day I used mine, I set it on the shelf in the shower and it fell off and the lid shattered.

THIS IS SOOOOO GREAT!!! I am such a chocolate freak it's not even funny. I bought this on pure impulse (because it said "chocolate" of course)! I am so glad I did, becuase I absolutely adore it! I use it as a body wash as well as a shampoo, but like other shampoo+conditioner thingies, it was not nearly moisturizing enough. I wish they would make a matching conditioner, too, because I would totally buy it and never think twice about switiching hair products again!

Works wonderfully as a shave product, too. For $16, you sure get a lot! I bought this originally as something to take on a swim meet trip out of town. When I used it in the locker room, all my friends started asking me about it and using it. (We are all such nerds!) So, poor swim-moms would walk in and see all of us fighting over a bottle of brown shampoo (and of course wondering why the locker room smelled like Baskin Robbins)!!!


It also comes in vanilla and strawberry, if chocolate is not your thing! LALALALAAAA! FAVORITE SMELL IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!!!!! YUMMY!!! :P

This is goodness in a bottle! It smells exactly like creamy chocolate ice cream. I think the scent is true and not artificial at all. I love this! I bought it as a shower gel and never expected it to be a shampoo. However, I have really straight, babyfine, greasy hair and I find that on a day where I have to get up at 5 and stay at work until 9 and feel as greasy as heck, this will leave me with lots of body and cuts the grease. I wouldnt use it the next day though. Highly recced!

There's a better smelling one at Sephora, called Mixed Emotion. This one is alright. Don't get it near your hair! I can't possibly imagine using this product as a shampoo. Other than that, its going to last you a long time.

This has a great smell without being too artificial. Nice and lather-y, looks kind of pearly and rich. Cinnamon buns is still my #1 though!

I hate to be the (so far) lone dissenter, but I'm not fond of this scent. It doesn't have a yummy, chocolate smell. Even in the shower, I didn't enjoy using it. Thankfully it was just a sample I had a Sephora SA make for me. I've only tried it as a body wash, and the formula is awesome. Very moisturizing. So I'll give it 2 lippies for that.

Smelled straight out of the bottle, this scent is almost 100% dead-on accurate. I can smell the cream note very clearly, and the chocolate element is very true. It smells so good my stomach almost rumbles. Lathers up nicely and is a cool and pretty pearlized shade of brown. However, it gets plasticy in the shower, more so than other 3-in-1s I've tried. It's also second fiddle to Double Rich Hot Cocoa in terms of being a full-bodied, rich chocolate scent. I'll use this up, but I'm on the fence about whether or not I'll rebuy.

Its fragrance gets pretty close to chocolate ice cream. The dark brown color can be offputting even though it is "chocolate ice cream". I have to keep that in mind! Shampooed, conditioned my hair very nicely.
