okay so this product is expensive for a cleanser, and the packaging could be slightly better so you get out every last bit of the product, but these little things are faaar outweighed by how fantastic this clenaser is. Its lovely milky consistency and amazing active ingredients saved my skin a year ago when i had a bad reaction to soemthing ( dermalogica i suspect) which cause me to have a heaps pussy tiny pimples and blackhead all over my face. After a sothys facial and after using this for the last 6 months my skin is glowy, rested and not aggravated at all. I love this clenaser, it saved my skin and i'll use it forever :)

Purchased a travel kit at the salon. It's a lovely cleanser that is very gentle to the skin. I probably won't repurchase as it is a bit milder than I actually need, a great product nonetheless.

I got introduced to Sothys by a friend who had already converted her whole skin care to Sothys. You can only buy it in beauty salons who use Sothys here in Australia so that was the number one downfall. What if I ran out and can't find a salon while somewhere else?

Anyways, this cleanser is a milky cleanser so it doesn't foam. Takes a bit of getting used to first. Also it doesn't do a good job of cleaning off makeup which was silly. I liked the fact that it didn't leave my skin feeling tight but then this was the first milk cleanser I tried. The other thing I didn't like was the fragrance. It was just too fake. It wasn't overpowering but doesn't belong with a cleanser in my opinion. Also the yellow colour... not my thing! Since I was also in a "natural/organic" phase, I decided to ditch the cleanser after reading the label and discovering the fact that it had PEG as the second ingredient!! There are other cleansers which aren't fake smelling and contain so much synthetic ingredients which is the reason why I switched.

I've been using this cleanser for about a year now and I adore it. I've got normal skin with some dry patches occasionally. This cleanser has a faint lemon smell and you don't need any water. All it takes is a pump of it onto your fingers and then you massage it all over your face and it will remove all traces of eyemakeup (even waterproof mascara and liquid liner). Once you wash it off, it leaves your skin nice and soft without feeling a film residue. (I had that when using the Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil.)

This product is great for me during the Canadian winters. I received this from a friend as a gift so I don't know if the price is in fact expensive or not. But since it's Sothys, I'm assuming it's on the higher end side. This temporarily makes my pores on my nose appear smaller-for like a few minutes... But overall, better than everything else that I've used so far.

Edit: It doesn't completely remove my makeup though and I wouldn't use it if I had blackheads on my cheek. It may worsen them. I want to look for something a tad bit lighter than this.

I used this product last winter and remembered the dramatic difference it made in my skin for the winter. This has been the only skin care that has not dried out my skin in the winter. I was using Sothys before I switched to Kate Somerville, and I love Kate's Gentle Cleanser but I am finding it too harsh for my skin in these winter months. I remember Sotyhs working great and my skin feeling dry. I love this line.

Great grapefruit scent! it isn't overpowering at all and my face feels very comfortable after using this. my skin glows!!! my facialist recommended it for my combo skin. not drying at all and it seems to absorb the oil at the same time. HG-worthy.
*** it is now fall, and this product is not cutting it. my complexion is now DULL and the smell makes me ill. thumbs down. sorry! I must take away 3 stars.

I used this cleanser after a chemical peel when my face was peeling and I have to say I wish I discovered Sothys earlier, it smells clean and it is wonderful for combination skin.

I'm sorry, but this stuff is not suitable for combination skin. It is heavy and GREEEEASY! It contains LANOLIN (sheep sebum) and coconut oil. NOT good for combination skin. I used this ONCE and woke up with a face full of pimples! (I haven't broken out like this in several years!)

Also, it smells EXACTLY like -(I swear I'm not exaggerating)- LEMON FURNITURE POLISH! (EXACTLY!!!!)

Spare your skin and your wallet from this one, ladies.

I really like the Sothy products. My esthetician used to use these products.
IT's gentle and a really great way to normalize your skin if it's been acting up. It won't deep clean your skin on its own so be sure to rub it in and use the toner as well....
It's great for skin that doesnt' do well with water rinsing. You only need to wipe this product off with a small round cotton wipe. Non Drying..

Cleans well without overdrying the skin. There are other non-soap cleansers I like a lot better than this though.

I've only been using this cleanser/Make-up remover for 2 weeks but I think this might be my HG! I went on vacation to San Francisco and got a facial at a place where they used Sothys. At first I was a little scared since I had never heard of this line. She recommended this cleanser, the matching toner and a moisturizer. I alwasy thought I had super oily skin and that I needed the cleanser for oily skin. The facialist reassured me that I actually had very dehydrated skin and that I was more combination than oily. To my surprise she was completely right! Not only is my skin a lot less oily..I'm not breaking out at all! I've alwasy been someone who uses tons of BHA and AHA. She told me to stop using those and just moisturize at night. Again, I was terrified and I thought I would start breaking out....but not at all! My skin looks even, feels soft, isn't oily, old blemishes have healed super fast. This line is amazing!!!!

I agree with the others on this cleanser, a top quality product for a decent price. After using this, my skin feels very clean but not tight nor too dry. I love the citrusy scent, its especially nice in the morning. I also love the milky texture.

I love this cleanser - my facialist gave me samples and I thought, oh right, another gazillion dollar salon product. But after using it I will never go back, even to Pevonia! I found it brand-new for half the price on eBay along with the Hyro-Optimale gel moisturizer. On my sensitive, combination, 28-year-old skin (oily T-zone, dry everywhere else, very fair) it works like a charm - doesn't leave a heavy film on my T-zone (and I notice fewer blackheads after only a week of use) and leaves all of my skin feeling absolutely like velvet. I can't stand foaming cleansers that dry out my skin and love the milk cleansers; this is the first I've found to be the best of all worlds.

I was sent samples of this by a professional skin care technician that I have visited on occasion. I loved this product. On my mature, combo dry/oily/dehydrated skin it cleansed well, leaving a soft "clean" feeling without tightness. It cleansed well, removing all make-up also. Would purchase for certain.

This milk cleanser has grapefruit extract in it, it's for oily/combi/normal skin type. Of all the milk i;ve tried, this is the only one that is suitable for my oily/sensitive combi skin. It doesnt leave a film on the face like other milk cleanser do, my skin is soft and oil free after wash. :thumbs up: Will re purchase for sure. Pretty packaging as well. Very cleopatra feels. :P and not expensive at all. :)
