I have been using this product for two years. I like it. But I think it has creame which is oil based but no water based hydration. So even after applying this creame my skin looks patchy. But I started using it with Hydramax + and I like the effect. The reason I gave 3 lippies I don't think it has anything that does anti aging. I am still using it unless I get something better than this product.

I have dry cheeks and this product is heaven-sent! I have a clear complexion and normally no skin issues. However after a makeup mishap with Bare Minerals (rash, dryness, etc) I need significant moisture repair. After using this moisturizer for 1 week my dryness is repairing. I use this after washing my face with Chanel Precision Cleanser and applying the Hydramax Serum. This day moisturizer is thicker then the night one which I also use, however it goes on smoothly and is not greasy. I would highly recommend this product, especially for any one with sensitive skin. The entire Chanel line is costly, but for my it's worth the investment since I use these products daily. And as a bonus, each product in the Chanel line has a lovely scent. I have a very sensitive sense of smell and I love this moisturizer. The only negative is the packaging. The jar is not problematic yet as I just started using it but I'm sure as I near the bottom of the jar, the design will prove annoying. My only recommended improvement would be a pump-style.

I read the rave reviews on here and decided to hit the chanel counter. About me: 28, dry skin, first signs of aging (light sun spots and dull),overall good skin, rarely breakout. I wish I loved this product and could agree w/ most of the posts but I can't. This stuff was terrible for my skin. The consistency was nice, even w/ an SPF it did not feel all that heavy and my make-up went on smoothly. No problems there. BUT about 3 days after use started to break-out. Not huge pimples just little tiny under the skin bumps, forehead and chin covered. I kept using for a week, hoping the good would come after the bad but it didn't. I look a lot worse then I did before using. Went back to return. Sorry didn't like it but wanted to share.

After I turned 35, my skin really started to change, and not for the better. This cream and La Mer changed everything. My skin looks better than it ever has.

I generally like Chanel skincare. I have used a number of the other Precision products and have not had any problem with irritation or allergic reaction. My skin is pretty sensitive and tends not to tolerate fragrances that well. Unfortunately, this cream made my skin break out in itchy red bumps almost immediately. It seems to be just an average cream as far as moisturizing is concerned and I didn't really notice any anti-aging effects over the month or so that I attempted to use it. Also, I prefer to wear at least SPF 30 for the day, so the SPF in this cream is not high enough for my taste. Given the high cost, I would definitely not recommend this cream.

I got a sample and this works pretty well. First, it didn't break me out like most SPF products. Second, it is creamy face lotion and not THICK! Thrid, the moisturizing aspect is good and Lastly, it doesn't make my face oily. The bad thing is the price tag of $72. I would only get this on Ebay for half the price.
(((UPDATE)))I just got the Rectifiance Intense Line Correcting Fluid w/SPF15 this is great to wear under makeup. For some reason this keeps my face from becoming greasy. After 6 hours of wearing makeup I have only had to blot my nose with a tissue. I haven't re-powdered at all! Totally expensive but worth getting on Ebay.

I can't talk about long-term effects of this moisturizer, but I got a sample of Fluid texture from a generous MUAer, and all I can say is OMG. I didn't like the Hydramax moisturizers at all (I had both textures for normal and combo skin), but this is a miracle. I only used it for 7 days, but it made my face soft as silk, dewy, well-rested and healthy. I'm only 27, so I don't have lines yet, except around my eyes and a bit of laughter fine lines around my mouth, so I can't really talk about the influence of this on lines, but I would definitely buy this. I also tried the night cream and the serum, and I loved those also. Wonderful line from Chanel.

I am 30 yrs old and my Mom gave me this one day when she saw how dry my skin was. OMG, this saved my skin. It is by far the best face cream I have used. It is a little expensive. And I have been trying to find a cheaper alternative. i have tried many creams:
Oil of old lady (OLAY)
Neutrogena
Loreal
Ponds
I once heard Nivea creme is good but I have not been able to find it.
Anyway, nothing feels as good as this stuff. It gives you a dewy look without looking greasy.
If anyone finds an alternative:let me know!!!!

This is worth the expense($139.99)New Zealand dollars. Finally a product that is not too greasy or dry. A standout champion amongst all the Chanel moisturisers. My skin felt dewy and appear hydrated in the morning. Now usually I just use a day lotion at night but this is a real marvel.

I am still looking for my HG face cream range and over the years have tried many..Sisiley, Estee Lauder,
the last was YSL. I decided to try this and for me this has to be the best so far....I am still open to new products but this is what I will be using for the meantime...The cream is rich so the tub will actually last a while...good thing too considering how much it costs. My face feels instantly smooth once it goes on and make up sits wonderfully on my face afterwards. I find that if I put too much on my skin feels greasy so its better to apply a little and then more if needed.
this product is great and if you like the Precision range then I would recommend that you try this and also the night cream that goes with it

Wonderful moisturizer. I use the rectifiance intense FLUID because the cream is too rich for my combo skin. I switched from the age delay lotion to the rectifiance lotion and I couldn't be happier. Rectifiance fluid has mattifying powders which help control oil better than the age delay lotion. I have combo acne prone skin and this has never caused me to breakout which is very important to me. Chanel makes excellent skincare products and this is a staple for me.

This is a really nice choice for a daily SPF moisturizer. It's smooth, non-greasy, quickly absorbed into the skin and a perfect slip for makeup. My only complaint, and this really is a personal preference, is the scent. I'm the antithesis of a morning person and the slightest thing can make me nauseated early in the day and the fragrance of this just hits me the wrong way. Luckily, it doesn't last long and you move on. . . Because it is one of the few SPF creams that lays nicely under under makeup and doesn't look greasy, I'd definitely repurchase.

A pleasantly scented light cream. Not bad but nothing fantabulous either. No spectacular results but also no breakouts. Absorbs quite well and do like the fact that it has SPF. Moisturising and light on my combo skin and gives it a healthy glow without the shiny/oily sheen that results from other creams. It has been good to me during the winter/colder months but not sure about its suitablity for the hotter months as I think it could be too heavy for summer. The negatives: sometimes during the day it gets into my eyes and then it STINGS and makes my eyes water and I'm not so keen on the fact that it comes in a tub. All in all, I could probably find a better cream for the $ spent. But I would repurchase if I couldn't find a better alternative with SPF for winter.

This is the only Chanel skincare I love.
In winter, my skin is dry and sensitive; when the climate is changing, my skin becomes even more sensitive and more drier. Also, another problem is more rich cream are designed for mature women and I am 21. So, I have had tough time to find a good but not too oily day cream.
I was reluctant to put the light salmon pink butter like cream on my face since I had too much unhappy and unpleasant experience with Chanel skincare. BUT, this one is an exceptional! It is pretty mild and very very moisturising. It gives me a lovely glow yet lasts whole day long!
I would suggest you to get it if you have dry skin. My Mom is in her early 40 and did not like it at all, she said it is too rich!!
You may go to http://www.chanel.com for more information. It is under the category of Anti-age of skincare.
