I bought this 8.4 fl oz at an outlet for $10 which was a good introductory price, but I wouldn't purchase again. I liked that it was in a plastic bottle which made it easier in the shower than a glass jar. It cleaned well and had a pleasant scent or should I say no scent which is good for my sensitive skin and wouldn't conflict with any moisturizing lotion I would use upon getting out of the shower. I wished the grain was more sugary and more of it. It just didn't get the job done!

I have't tried this but as a note, ladies who want to exfoliate and wash at the same time i reccomend adding baking soda and sugar or salt to the mix i am sure this stuff pales in comparsion to your fave body wash w/added exfoliants. Also you can add a little of your fave body scrub to your body wash for exfoliating

Cleanses fine, exfoliates very poorly. Inferior to many far less expensive scrubs on the market. Would not repurchase.

For a body scrub, this is a poor product. For a body cleanser, it is alright. Too few grains to be considered a scrub! Imagine, you'd have to be scrubbing a long long time to get the dead cells off your skin! It lathers wonderfully but forget it as a scrub. Usually my skin feels very smooth after using a scrub, but obviously not with this one. Not repurchasing and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I absolutely love this! It unscented, lathers up wonderfully and makes my skin incredibly silky and soft. Best of all, it's perfect for lazy days when you're too tired to exfoliate separately. If only it was grittier, finer-grained and had a more wallet-friendly price, I would have awarded full-marks!

This scrub/cleanser has its good and bad points. It doesn't have any added fragrance, so it doesn't interfere with, e.g., your fragrance or lotion. The smell reminds me of the stuff my mom used to shampoo the carpet when we were little. It's a creamy formulation - that makes a nice lather and leaves my skin smooth and soft. The one thing I don't like (yes, I would put up with the funky smell if not for this latter point) .. is that the scrubby pieces are kind of harsh. It feels like you are rubbing very coarse sand on your skin. The scrubby pieces are corn cob meal. It might be a personal preference, but I greatly prefer the PTR scrub.

I have a friend who works for Kiehl's, and she gave me several full-sized products for free the last time I saw her. This was one of them, and I'm really glad because otherwise I doubt I would have ever tried it. As it turns out, now I'd actually repurchase it if I ran out! It's a runny cleanser with scrubby pieces in it; I just put some in the palm of my hand and use it wherever I feel the need for exfoliation. And let me tell you, it exfoliates quite well! I couldn't believe how soft my skin felt after using it; also how easily moisturizer applied as well. Since it's a cleanser, it has NO oily residue, and it also seems to have no offensive scent, which is always a nice, safe choice.
