It's a good lip balm...I got strawberry too...didn't notice too much of a smell, or really any waxiness....good stuff...

i have this is slamdunk strawberry, it smells divine~ of course after using my lipbalm i am sure to clean any water/saliva that might get on it (>.<;) its been some time and the smell hasnt changed, still smells like fresh strawberry candy. this goes on clear, tastes sweet, but has a slightly waxy taste to it, which is not bad really. the added spf 24 is great, the waxiness i can live with.

bought vanilla volley today~ its great, doesnt seem as waxy as the strawberry to me though, not sure about others. it smells like vanilla ice cream and i love it, it does leave a hint of purple on my lips tho, but its not a big deal, cos its not that obvious.

I LOVE this! I bought mine at aWalmart food market. I had seen such great reviews about it, so I bought it in Vanilla Volley. It smells just like the original Vanilla lipsmacker! yummy! except I like ths lipsmacker better because: 1.) It is waxy, but I love the texture of this. It's so soft and buttery, and leaves my lips soft long after it's worn off! 2.) I love how shiney it makes my lips. Also, whenever I put alot on, it gives my lips kind of a purple tint 3.)Smells yummy, like cake!! I love the tube, it's clear w/ stripes at the bottom. The colour of the stick is purple. I like the bungee it comes with because I can clip it to my wrist and carry it everywhere! The spf 24 is a plus. This is the perfect lipgloss, even for a sporty tomboy! You should try this!!!!!

Finally got Vanilla Volley b/c of all the great reviews here =) The purple tint does not show up on my lips. The smell is great and the SPF 24 factor is a bonus. I'd say it's a perfect combination of a regular Smacker and the Starburst one - the former being a little too solid and the latter being too greasy and slippery. This is soft and buttery, but not too slimy. Go and try!!!

I just got back from a week long trip to Hawaii and I used this stuff the whole time! I love how it has SPF 24 so it protected my delicate lips and they didn't burn once. I also love how it doesn't have the nasty taste that most chapsticks with sunscreen have!

I have this in Watermelon Wave and quite honestly, I haven't touched it since the summer. I do love the texture and the fact that it's SPF 24, and it even gives me a little peachy tint.

I might have to get a new one though since the smell and taste just isn't as strong as it once was...hrm.

I love this! I agree with heyitshappybunni pretty much. This gloss is like heaven in a bottle! The little bungee is real convient, I wear it around my wrist all the time. The smell is heavenly. (Mine is Vanilla Volley) I would like to try Cotton Candy Cheer, too!

eh im mixed on this. i got cotton candy cheer. it is a blue chapstick. i call it my "hypothermic" chapstick lol. becuase whenever i use it it makes my lips blue! the first time i used it it made my lips really soft, but then the next night i put it on i woke up with chapped lips.. hmph. it smells ok, not really like cotton candy but more like a sweet plasticky mintish smell (?). not horrible tho. i plan on trying the vanilla one because i wasnt totally satisfied with this one. ***update / edit***

i have upped this rating to a 4 because i just got vanilla volley and its the only chapstick or balm that softens my lips and makes them incredibly soft and smooth, if you have a problem with dry, chapped, cracking lips go out and try vanila volley, it works wonders (and smells the best too)! this is my favorite clip and go flavor! a real winner!

I bought this in cotton candy cheer. It smells very nice. The balm itself is a blue-ish color, so be aware that if you put too much on, it can give your lips a slight blue tint. A nice light application though makes your lips subtley shiny and soft!
I love the little bungee cord that comes with it. You can clip it closed and clip the balm on it to wear on your wrist or to clip to a purse or backpack.
Another cool aspect of this balm is that it has an SPF of 24, and it doesn't taste yucky like my Hawaiian Tropic balm that I have (which, although it smells yummy, leaves a *horrid* taste in your mouth).
I would definitely recommend buying one of these balms! :)

i got this in 'slamdunk strawberry' and i loove it. it smlls really good, not overpowering but not weak. it goes on really smooth and leaves your lips nice and soft. i was trying to find the right lip balm for me and this one is it. oh yea and the spf is nice too.

EDIT:: eh. after a while i started to not like the texture and the weird color and the scent started getting weird. to me anyways.

This is the best Bonne Bell lipbalm I have ever tried! I bought this in Vanilla Volley, it smells somewhat buttery, but overall, it has a nice taste and feel to it. The balm itself moisturizes better than any I have ever tried and the SPF is a bonus. Like the previous reviewer stated, it does not have that yucky sunscreen taste to it like other lipbalms do, which I loathe! I hope this is not LE because I plan on repurchasing.

Love this stuff! I bought some because I was going to be spending three days at a NASCAR race, and being out in the hot Midwestern sun all day can really do a number on your lips. I wanted something that had some SPF, with some shine, AND that tasted good...because nothing is worse than that yucky lip-balm sunscreen taste on your mouth as the day wears on. Plus, I didn't want to pay a ton of money...and for about $1.78 at Wal-Mart, this was cheaper than some of the other sunscreen balms out there.

I bought Vanilla Volley, which is a purple color. It smells very good, kind of vanilla-y, like a vanilla wafer. It goes on with a slightly purple tint, but it is very shiny (personally, I would have added some sparkles to it, but hey...that's just me). It made my lips very soft and kept them from getting sunburned. My nine-year-old daughter used it as well, and she didn't get sunburned lips either.

One thing I have always wondered, though...why put the clip part on the cap, as opposed to the other end? It seems that the cap, which is where the clip part is (you can use the supplied elastic clip or just attach it straight on your jeans or purse) would be prone to coming off. So far, that hasn't happened, but that isn't to say it won't. I would put the clip on the twisty end, just for sturdiness. But, other than that, a great product that I will be repurchasing!

I love this one. I bought in in Boardin' Berry. It has really strong flavor, but not incredibly overpowering. Sometimes, the color shows up on your lips if you use too much, though, so be careful! This comes with a lil' bungee cord that clips right on, so you can fasten it on anything! I like clipping the bungee cord to my wrist (without the lip gloss on it), it looks really cute. This also has SPF 24, so it's perfect for the summer.

Bought one of these for my friend's daughter who is due to deliver any day-and of course had to get one for myself.I keep it clipped to my apron at work,and it does a good job of keeping my lips hydrated during the day.I got it in cotton candy,which is a nice scent/taste,not overpowering or waxy.Great for the summer months.

This product is great for the beach or teamplayers or if your just on the go. It smells awsome (I have watermelon wave , cotton candy cheer , vanilla volley)
they all smell delicious ! buy it!
