I got two quads as a gift a few years ago, one with honeymoon (and 3 other colors I can't read on the label anymore; they're bronze, sand and chocolate shades) and another with the creme lustre/celedon/petale/plumage combination. I was not really a big fan of eye shadows back then and used these sparingly. It's only recently that I have gotten addicted to eye shadows and found these in my small box of make up. Now I use these almost every time I go out. They glide on smoothly, blends easily, does not fall off and the color stays long. I have used these with a primer and with no primer and there really doesn't seem to be any huge difference - colors still look pigmented, shimmery, long-lasting and no creasing. You can easily mix and match the colors, whether you like soft or dramatic or whatever. I love these on my eyes. :)

I've acquired a couple dozen Maquiriche shades in the last few years, and overall I like the formulas and selection. My favorites are Gardenia, Taupe Lustre, Moonstruck and Bronze, which all apply smoothly and have non-garish shimmer. Lancome has a lot of palettes and customizable options for this shadow line, so it's a pretty good default for high quality, richly pigmented shades.

Got this with a GWP in Creme Lustre and Camel. I find myself reaching for this combo a lot for everyday. A little shimmer, not overwhelming which is important for my aging eyelids! Creme Lustre is a highlight and Camel is a light beige shimmer.

I got some of these Maquiriche e/s in a GWP from my sister. The quality of the shadows depend on the shade. The ones that wore well on me were Plummage and Taupe Vert.
Plummage is a shimmery plum with hints of silver and goes on beautifully as a wash on lids or in the crease. It really brought out my dark brown eyes. Plummage is more cool toned to me because I usually look better in cool e/s, and Plummage definitely brought out the brown in my eyes very nicely.
Taupe Vert was an olive color that to me is a true neutral, and at first I didn't think it would work on my cool toned skin because it was olive, but it too brought out my eyes nicely.
The texture of Plummage and Taupe Verte are silky soft and very pigmented and blendable. The shimmer is extremely fine and subtle as opposed to the garish shimmers of some other e/s, lending to these Lancome shadows a sophistication that is lacking in MAC shadows.

I have this in the quad Noix/Honeymoon/Coquille/Rustique. It glides on easily and has fairly good lasting power. The color is quite intense although it can't beat my Make up Store shadows.

GWPs but of good quality. Great staying power, best used as base. Frequently used is Creme Lustre and Misty Mink. I love these! I hope Lancome made more of these for sale.Ü

I have lottsa these (GWP because I love Lancome skin care products). Prefer Colour Rich over these but I do use up a lot of the shimmer type shadows. I used up Creme Lustre, a perfect transparent wash of shimmer and have 2 more left. I often use Honeymoon (a sheer honey wash) on the crease and it stays all day. But for the darker colors, they tend to create a crepe-y texture. Get these for the lighter colors. The darker ones can make you look matronly.

This is an excellent eyeshadow. It is easy to apply and blend, and it comes in many gorgeous colors. I've used the various colors to create looks ranging from natural to punk rock, with stunning results.

My favorite shade is Creme Lustre. A shimmery light beige color, it's my HG highlighting shade. It's silky smooth and is similar to MAC's Shroom but lighter. Very good quality, definitely an underrated line.

My favorite eyeshadow. It is so pigmented, stays beautifully, and just produces such a rich color. I cannot say any more!

I have a quad of those I got but has been sitting in my makeup box forever. Today I was cleaning and took it out and thought about why I never used them - I have oily lids, and those are way too light and the pretty colors dont show up as well on my lids. I find Milani and Elizabeth Arden shades works better for me.

I have the Maquiriche in Platinum and Sunberry gwp. First of all I prefer the Maquiriche to the Colour Focus because the latter doesn't glide on as smoothly and doesn't last as long, though its color seem to be more intense. Maquiriche the color really stays on all day, and I almost never need to retouch it as long as I wear an eye base. The texture is also finer for the Maquiriche, though it may not be as silky as some other high-end brands.
As for color: the platinum gives a beautiful shimmery glow with a slight silvery tint. It definitely brightens my eyes, and works especially well with rich gray e/s. The sunberry is a warm fall color that's a bit hard to explain, but it seem suitable for anyone who likes their lids a bit pigmented.
Oddly enough I almost never use the two to complement each other, they don't really go that well together imo. However, both colors are very versatile and can work with a wide range of colors, so these are definitely staple items. Lancome eyeshadows always last me a long time, since they're fairly pigmented and a little goes a long way, and I think I will keep these in staple.

I got a Maquiriche eyeshadow duo recently as a gift with purchase. The powder isn't especially silky, which is what I love about my Clinique shadows, but I really love Cedre Soleil, it's a perfect neutral shadow with a little shimmer, and it's a flesh-toned copper. It's perfect to look subtle yet polished. I don't especially like the little package, because the given sponge has the ability to move around and mess up the shadow, and since the case is black, the loose powder floating around is very noticible.

Lancome Color Focus and Maquiriche are my chosen eyeshadows. I have about 20 colors and they're all wonderful, flattering shades.
Of the two, I'd probably say Maquiriche is better, but I don't really know what the difference is supposed to be. They're basically the same thing.
The only bad thing that could be said about Color Focus is that it doesn't last forever. It lasts most of my schoolday, though, and that's good enough for me. Excellent blending capabilities, shimmery colors, nice and flattering for all people. Highly recommended!!!!!

I have these 4 combinations: Honeymoon (pearl) / Rustique (sparkle), Burnt Sand (sparkle) / Sun Coral, Coquille / Petale, and Mauve Lustre / Plumage (pearl). Somehow for years and years I'd not tried Lancôme's shadows; they are vastly underrated. Application is perfect and the colors are eye enhancing. Now I collect more and more and use them almost every day.

I agree it is very disconcerting when they d/c your favorite colors. A few seasons ago, I purchased Illusion Magique (a sparkly grey) and Foret Magique (a sparkly bronze). These are the best eyeshadows I have ever used. Creamy, long-lasting, and sparkly. I was lucky enough to purchase some extra at an outlet, but alas, can not buy now.

I've received everyone of my Lancome e/s from GWP and they are so over rated. The colors are pretty but nothing special! I have Platinum/honeymoon duo. Rose Ancien, Gris Lustre, Ciel du Soir, Aubergine pallette. And finally Camel, Noix, honeymoon, cappucino pallette. Like I said they are pretty, but I would never pay for them!

I have this GWP duo in taupe lustre/rose fumee. Unfortunatly these colors are discontinuted, but I got lucky and found it on ebay for cheap. Plus I don't wear eyeshadow enough to have to replace it anytime soon.

I first received the eyeshadow as a GWP and I became an instant fan. I've never been big on the texture of liquid eyeshadow but I have always loved the way it had a more lasting affect and better shimmer than powder eyeshadow. Well this eyeshadow brings both of those qualities to the powder. I love how long it will last and the shimmer. I have even received compiments and inquiries as to where I got it. It is a bit pricey so I don't use it every day and can't afford to buy a shade for every outfit but so far I haven't found another eyeshadow that can beat the affects of this one.
