Horribly overpriced product! I bought it only because I had a facial done and the technician used this in the treatment. After my facial, my eye area and overall skin looked great, but it was probably the combination of treatments and products used. But my eyes looked so bright!!! I read reviews and everybody was raving about it, so a few weeks later I shelled out the $46 for this eye cream. Mistake. Not that it's a horrible product, but it is NOT worth anywhere near this price. Packaging is fine and it does make your eye area a little shiny, but it is kind of yellow looking. You can get the same results with a much cheaper product. Will not repurchase.

I am on my fourth or fifth tube of this. I love it, brightens up my eye area, keeps it moisturized and lovely. A little goes a long way with this and I use a tiny amount each morning on top of serum and eye cream. Sometimes I do not need any concealer on top of this. Love it, hope they do not discontinue (or change the formula)!

I'm a real Dermalogica fan, unfortunately I wasn't impressed with this product. It claims to firm your under eye area, help reduce puffiness and reduce the appearance of fine lines. I really wanted this to work, but to be honest I found that it just works as an expensive highlighter. When I used it, it made the skin under my eyes look really shiny. It has an SPF but I didn't see the benefit when my foundation has an SPF anyway.

Luckily I had two samples of this. It didnīt really do anything bad, didnīt sting or irritate my eye area (for this, 2 lippies), but I felt like it didnīt moisturize enough and also did nothing to smooth away little lines. The slight tint was completely translucent once applied, so it also didnīt help me look fresher immediately. The SPF of 15 is too low for my liking for daily use - I always applied a higher mineral SPF on top. But the fact that it has SPF at all makes it a day-only product for me. At night I donīt want unnecessary UV Filters on my skin. It didnīt fulfill my expectations for an eye cream, and so itīs not worth buying the whole size of.

I use this mainly because of the SPF 15 factor with Perricone Ester C eye serum underneath and have been quite pleased with the results. Before this, I tried the Murad Vitamin C eye cream (again with SPF 15) but that one caused a lot of irritation and watering.

Luckily I got a sample of this and did not buy it, because it made my skin so dry and really did sting. A no-go for me!

Now that I'm in my late 20s, I realized it's time I got serious about eye cream. I've started going to a facialist who uses Dermalogica products and she recommended the Total Eye Care for me since I have the beginnings of fine lines under my eyes and live in a dry high-altitude climate. I like that this has SPF 15 in it and that I can use it while exercising outdoors without it irritating my eyes like my full-power sunscreen used to. It seems like it's doing its job on my fine lines, although it's hard to tell -- they weren't that noticeable in the first place. But if all it does is prevention, I'm happy with that.
$42 for a .5 fl ounce tube at Drugstore.com (but I got it for less on Amazon).

NO THANK YOU. Makes my eyes burn and water, and no, I'm not putting it in or too close to my eye. I have been using it for a month and see no difference at all. Very disappointing! (Try Arbonne eye cream.)

A DISASTER... it did exactly the opposite of what the product promised to do. I know skin care products obviously don't work the same on everyone and for me, this one is a big no-no. I have combination skin and the skin around my eyes isn't prone to being sensitive, oily, or dry. It's just... normal. But after wearing this cream for a couple of days, the skin around my eyes started getting red and sensitive and my eyes stung and watered every time I put this cream on!!! I love many of Dermalogica's products but this one is just not the right one for me I guess. It's too bad because I really wanted to like it! ^_^

the product doesn't get distributed evenly , it makes impossible to apply a highlighter/ concealer on top as it creates orangish patches.. SPF ; sounds good but I am not sure how effective it is....

This is my first experience with Dermalogica. I initially gravitated toward this product because I heard so many rave reviews about the line and needed a daily eye cream with an spf.
This one is an spf of 15 which may just be the max for the under eye area, I'm not sure .... but I *would* love to find one with an even higher spf (not sure if I actually need to reapply this throughout the day ... I guess the dryness or lack-of under my eyes should dictate that ...)
It's a truly nice cream. It has a very mild scent that is fairly benevolant. It also moisturzies failry well (it's mid-winter in Canada, lol!) It has the tiniest bit of colour so it does brighten the area ever so slightly (with no makeup it's fine ... but would never skip concealer otherwise).
That said, I'm not sure if I LOVE it. Sometimes it does sting my eyes a tiny bit and makes them red ... though I can't be sure if it's the cream or the weather or what.
Second, for a cream of this price ($60CAD) I expect a bit more brightness. If I absolutely can't find anything else I guess I would bu this again ... but ideally I wouldn't spend more than $30 -- $40 max! -- on an eye cream. I'm on the lookout for something with an spf that's comparable ... Otherwise I may jsut buy this again.

I don't use this any more simply because I'm older and need something a bit stronger, however I used it for over 10 years, starting at the age of about 26.
At 39 I have very few lines around my eyes and think this is due to using an eye cream with SPF 15 in it as I used to be a real sun worshipper and ought to look a lot worse than I do really.
So for anyone under 35 I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better eye cream.

I love the idea of this eye crea - spf 15, non-irritating, peachy color to mask imperfections - the problem is that it doesn't deliver. I see no concealing/light-difusing benefits at all, and as an eyecream on its on it is not moist enough to do much good. The spf, though, is a great idea, especially since this doesn't irritate my delicate undereye area.

Love love love this eye cream for day wear. I can't remember how many tubes I've purchased over the 10 years since I started using Dermalogica.
I love everything about this eye cream. Its light but feels moisturising when applied - and its got an added bonus of SPF15. While it hasn't done anything for my dark circles (nothing has!), its kept my eyes wrinkle free at 36... a miracle really given that I've been a contact lens wearer for 20 years and work long hours on projects, squinting at a teeny laptop.
One tube lasts quite a while... about 5-6 months, from my experience. The cream sinks in after a couple of minutes and after a light dusting of powder, my lids are ready for makeup.
Highly recommend this!

I have used this eyecream for a while and bought it after being given a sample. I have dark circles but for some reason this doesn't make them worse like for some reviewers and i love the fact that it has spf. Does a good all round job and i will continue to purchase.

i really like this eye cream. it's got all the basics that you need: sunscreen, spf, AHAs to smooth fine lines, and light reflectors to instantly brighten the eye area. i am an esthetician myself, and i put this on every day. if you will be out in the sun all day, i still recomend sunglasses to protect against those nasty UV rays, but for everyday use and incidental sun exposure, i think this is great. it's an especially good thing for all you younger ladies out there, who can still take lots of preventetive measures!

I like that it has spf 15 and that it's ligth weight and moisturizes my under eye area really well. I just don't like the tint, I feel that it emphesizez my dark circles and makes them look way worse. I find my Garnier eye cream does a just as good job at hydrating at a much better price.

I was reading the reviews for this product and some of the people mentioned getting milia on their eyes from using this product.
I checked it up on Wikipedia and discovered that is exactly what I have around my eyes from using this product! They're like tiny white bumps around your eyes.
I never had milia on my eyes until I used this product, will not be using again!
