I treated myself to this eye cream. I am 43. This did nothing for the fine lines around my eyes. It did help my Bobbi Brown Intensive skin serum concealer look better though by hydrating the skin under my eyes. I have used this twice a day for almost 4 months. The pot isn't as hygienic as a pump container would be. I think there are more economical choices out there.

I received a sample from a Nordstrom order, enough for about 3-5 uses. After having used the balm version, I felt like this eye cream was a bit boring & basic. It’s unscented & lightweight, good for daytime use, but it didn’t really feel like it hydrated the area around my eyes. I typically focus on the edges (crowsfeet area) & under my eye with eye creams. I felt like there was no difference between this and a basic drugstore eye cream, except the price point.

I owned the full sized balm version before, which provided a more intense level of hydration. It was more suitable for night time use, soothing & relaxing the soft tender skin under my eyes, but I think it doesn’t exist anymore. The packaging on that one should be similar - in a beautiful heavy glass jar with a plastic twist off cap.

I bought this eyecream because so many beautygurus I know swear by this. It is very expensive for such a small container. It's true, you don't need a lot of product, but it's still too expensive for my taste. The product doesn't have a strong scent which makes me very happy. It applies very smoothly and the product gets absorbed by your skin very quickly. Remarkably, when you apply the product, I always feel a light tingling sensation.
BUT...does it do anything? I'm not quite sure... I've been using this product for 2 months now and I haven't seen any changes. My under eye area looks and feels exactly the same. My concealer still gathers in my lines as much as it did before and my under eye area doesn't look less swollen. I will not repurchase this product.

This is my HG eye cream. At about 27, I noticed that my old eye cream just wasn't having the same effects, and I tried various creams from the drugstore, nothing was really helping my eyes very much. I read reviews of this product, purchased (it is expensive!), and have not regretted it at all. The difference between using this product and not using it or using something else is very noticeable to me - nothing hydrates my eye area like this, while not causing swelling, bumps, or any other problems. Keeps my skin soft, supple, and dewy. This does not leave any kind of greasy film on my eye area, dries away completely. I personally prefer to layer the repair cream on top of this before putting on under eye concealer. As cute/classic as the little bottle is, I think it would be better if it came in a tube so that it wouldn't be so exposed to air and oils from my fingers. It lasts several months, I think I only buy this twice a year. It is very expensive, imho - I normally don't buy beauty products that are very expensive, rather a moderate range, but I will shell out of it's worth it, and this really is! I think eye creams can actually get even more expensive this, so maybe it's a deal in that way. I do think, however, that everyone's skin is different enough, especially at different ages, that different creams work different for them. I would recommend that you try out a sample, if possible rather than splurging.

Update: I tried out a recommendation from another member here, and I have found it works just as well, I think even better, actually: Dr. Hauschka Regenerating Eye Cream.

Update: Yes, I can definitely notice a difference with the Dr. Hauschka cream - my eye area looks much more moisturized and smooth. I still am giving Bobbi Brown 5 stars because this seemed like the perfect cream for me for about 10 years (27-37), so it was great for then! And it is also still a great cream, I just get more out of the Dr. Hauschka cream now.

I was particularly disappointed with this product. I didn't expect a lot - just a product to hydrate my under eye area. This product sits on the surface of the skin. Under my left eye, I have dry skin, something Iv never had before. I'm not sure if it's the product or something else but the product hasn't helped the problem that's for sure. It doesn't hydrate so it certainly doesn't reduce lines or darkness. Big waste of cash.

I don't ever buy creams as they are the one skin care product that is truly a waste of money.I received this as a gift. There is nothing about eye creams that make them particularly unique for the eye area other than the texture. The ingredients used in this formula couldn't be more banal and also the price is quite steep, your really only paying for the brand and the packaging, the same goes for the Extra Eye repair cream.

Jojoba and Avocado Oil, both great plant oils mixed with some anti irritants and also fragrance free. This is a an O.K formulation but it is nothing great. I think the reason why it is so popular and remains a best seller is simply because of the Secret to the Universe three step system. Eye cream under the eye, corrector/concealer then set with powder. If your are using this during the day time your not getting any SPF whatsoever! You would either have to apply SPF under or over this eye cream which really would be missing the point wouldn't it?

It's the perfect size for travelling, it doesn't irritate me at all , is gentle, fragrance free but way too expensive. There are other eye creams by other Estee Lauder owned brands that are cheaper and contain a much higher amount of skin care ingredient in the formula, in particular Repair wear Laser focus eye cream. Much nicer formula.

So while not bad, it is just ho hum, really unnecessary, travel wells but just too extortionate in price. Jar packaging is now widely known to hinder the effectiveness of certain ingredients, particularly antioxidant and antioxidant rich plant oils.

I've been using this eye cream for several weeks now, from a sample jar I received when I purchased several Bobbi Brown products from their website. Although I'm 41, I don't have glaringly obvious wrinkles around my eyes yet, but I'm also trying to delay their appearance for as long as possible!

This cream is a nice texture, although I thought it felt too hard at first. It softens up easily with the warmth of my ring finger as I pat it around my under eye areas. The cream hydrates well enough for daytime use under makeup, but I do still use my E.L.F. Hydrating Under Eye Primer overtop of this eye cream before concealer application. I don't have dark circles, just a little puffiness. The cream doesn't really seem to reduce puffiness much, so I guess it's better for hydration instead.

I have really sensitive eyes and skin and have not experienced any sensitivity from it, but I'm really sorry for the reviewers who have! Ouch!

As far as bedtime use, I find that I need a bit more moisturizing than this cream provides alone. I've been first using the eye cream, and then I follow it with either a layer of 100% Argan oil, or a dab of Aquaphor Ointment. I don't think I would purchase the full-size version once my sample is depleted. I've heard that some ladies like using the Bobbi Brown Soothing Balm for an eye cream better than this, so I'm actually leaning towards purchasing that next. I'll definitely post a review of it, if I do!

So I really like this eye cream!!! I have super sensitive skin and this eye cream doesn't cause any break outs or milia!! That's a HUGE deal for me! =D it moisturizes great and helps with puffiness and dark circles. I like that it's fragrance free and doesn't have shimmer/sparkles in it either. I didn't realIy see a lot of improvement in my fine lines, but it definitely helps with dryness and my eyes look brighter overall. I would recommend to anyone with sensitive/breakout prone skin!! =)

I didn't expect much from this product, which I received for the 500 point Sephora reward around Christmas. I love Bobbi Brown makeup, but had never really used their skincare and didn't have high expectations. However...I love this eye cream, to the point I would actually be willing to pay $65 (I believe it's something like that).

The texture of this cream is perfect...not too "hard" or too runny. It absorbs quickly, is moisturizing and seems to take my eye bags down a bit, too (bonus). I'd compare it to tub margarine in its consistency (not that oily, but sort of that "weight.")

A 0.1 ounce jar lasted me nearly 4 months (I only apply eye cream at night). So I am guessing a full size would last a year or more.

As with all Bobbi Brown products, the packaging is solid and classy.

I almost never put anything on my upper lids (except for makeup of course) as they're extremely oily and use this cream for my under eye area only and I haven't experienced any allergic response. It's really hydrating and gives a smooth surface for applying concealer and prevents the concealer from settling into lines.
