On a Romantic date with my husband.
The first thing he noticed at the pool table was my Lipstick. Being I have so many lipsticks I wear around him,he would notice this one.He asked "what color is that",I replied"Paris Red";The next day he went out and bought me 2 more.

I agree that this is one of the best lipsticks on the market. The color is almost non-descript. It is natural with a brown/mauve intensity. It is like a great stain with a creamy texture. I use this under Revlon's Cherries in the Glow lipgloss and it gives a slick wet rose look that is very sexy. It can be worn alone, and on my lips turns quite rosy pink during the hour or so it stays on. I keep coming back to this color because it is so incredibly natural and finished at the same time. The only color that I have every had that resembles it is Estee Lauder's Perfect Mystery (which has been discontinued). It looks great with brown, pink, even red clothes. It is the only color you would need to take on a trip because it looks fantastic with white, black...everything. I am going to stock up in case they ever take it off the market.

I've decided to try Max Factor lipsticks because I need even, strong colors for photography, but I didn't want to pay hundreds of dollars for MAC and other higher-end brands. The reviews here were favorable, and I remember liking my Cine Beige lipstick from MF, so I bought a couple more colors. One of them is Independent, a cocoa/mauve color that is amazingly perfect. It has hints of all types of colors, brown, plum, rose, and it's strong enough in hue to bring life to the face, but it's not heavy or muddy looking at all. Truth be told, the texture is the same as Nars lipsticks, and it looks very similar to MAC's Amplified in Double Shot on me, only slightly less brown in tone. I'd recommend this color for any skin tone because it's not "too" anything, not too brown, not too plum, not too mauve. Today I'm wearing it with pink eye makeup, and it's quite suitable. I'm definitely getting more colors, and I'm so glad MF has affordable lipsticks at such high quality.
