Loved Skinceuticals AGE Interruptor line so I thought I'd try their Vit C 15 serum. What a disappointment :( I hate the super-watery texture, it turned a very dark color quickly (don't think that's supposed to happen) and it never felt like it was really absorbing into my skin. Plus the smell is weird. Maybe this texture is good for some skin types (I have dry/combo skin that is sensitive) but I am much happier with SkinMedica Vit CE serum. Way better packaging and I love it's smooth/silky texture. Will update after I finish the bottle.

This did absolutley nothing to me. I know it's for prevention, so maybe I'm not supposed to see results. But it oxidized way too fast within 2 months. It turned orangey yellow from pale yellow. I did keep it in the dark. I put the bottle back into the box everytime after I use it, so it's kept in darkness. Even then, it went bad so quickly. I ordered from dermstore.com which was supposedly an authorized seller of Skinceuticals products. I did not want to waste the money and throw it away, so now i'm using it all over my face like if it's a toner. I just want to finish it up. It's "serum" but the consistency is very runny/watery. I don't recommend this product.

This serum is wonderful. It has made my face glow. Works well with many of my other products, and is a definite main-stay in my skin care arsenal! I have pretty senstive skin, but this serum does not irritate my skin at all, even though it is the 15.

I think this % is better for me than the Serum 10. It gives me more OMPH! radiance & suppleness is maintained when i am on this. I get duller & tired skin after 1-2 week stopping this.

Like supplements & maintenance - i dont think with Vit cs you can see results overnite. Its like perhaps years of use to preserve the skin , coupled with good sun blocks. I believe - I will have younger skin than i would have without these 2 staples.

I bought this after using the Philosophy powder which just got to be too annoying to mix up everymorning. First off, this is a great moisturizer all on it's own. It sinks in but provides lasting hydration all day long. Sometimes too much on a hot day and the oilies come but with RAM and other acids that I use, my skin needs this drink in the a.m. HATE the smell. Totally like hot dog water from a vendor. The dropper gives you way too much so I just wipe off what is left on the side and keep dipping. Results.....after 6 months I can say that sometimes I notice my skin looks less red from broken caps. Pores remain huge. Wrinkles have barely diminished but have not gotten worse. Skin seems tougher somehow, more resilient. All in all I think C products are about use over time as prevention more than anything. I mainly keep using this to fight sun damage and will continue but don't expect anything overwhelming.

I got this product in a swap, otherwise I could never have gotten such an expensive product. It's pretty good. The only other serums I've used with C are Garnier and Ole Henriksen Truth Serum. I've got to say that for $40+ get the Ole Henriksen.
C Serums have made a big difference in my skin. Before I started using them, the only product I could put on my chin had to be benzoyl peroxide. But, this is good. I put it on and I RARELY break out there anymore. It's a miracle. But, as I said, this isn't as good as Truth Serum. It doesn't feel as nice and I don't think my skin looks quite as good as with Truth Serum.
The nice thing about this is that, the best you can do for lower-cost goods is get up to 10% vitamin c (Truth Serum is 10%). This one comes in 10, 15, and 20. 10 is for sensitive. 15 (this one) is for combination and 20 is for oily.
This product does have a tinted jar and dropper. Truth Serum is clear, which should make the C less stable. But I think the pump in truth serm is probably better than using Skinceuticals' dropper.
I've recently bought Juice Organics Serum (10%). When I finally get through this once, I'll try that and review it.

I don't know why the cosmetic chemists at SkinCeuticals don't create an opaque air-backless container for this so that the unstable L-Ascorbic Acid molecule might have more of a chance to stay effective before you work your way through an ounce. It can't be that hard to create better packaging. That said, this serum is watery and sticky on the skin, best applied under a moisturizer so that it doesn't feel tacky and strange all day. The fragrance is not bad, but not really "good", it's sort of a chemistry-experiment-mixed-with-orange smell. The results are really the only thing worth speaking about when it comes to this serum, and thank the lord the results are worth SHOUTING FROM THE ROOFTOPS! Brightens complexion and decreases redness and visible capillaries, decreases pigmentation, decreases scarring, decreases wrinkles, increases skin integrity & firmness, increases collagen production. Also Vitamin C is a potent antioxidant, so it's best used in the morning to combat solar elastosis and free radical damage.

I think this is an interesting product. This is a serum that comes in a little bottle with a dropper. It feels very scientific :)

I like the texture of this product, as it is light and watery. I only need 4-5 drops. It spreads easily and dries to almost no feeling at all, just more smoothen skin. It works well under sunscreens, lotions, etc.

I feel that it has worked for me, as i have added this to my routine, which includes regular use of stable sunscreen, and found that my skin has become brighter and more even in tone. It has lightened as well as I went from NC30 to an NC27 and this was even during the summer. my brown spots from acne hyperpigmentation fade much quicker, too.

I hope that as an anti-oxidant product, it is doing some good, but I guess I won't know for a while...maybe I'll update in 20 years, LOL!

I really like this product for my oily, slightly uneven skin. It gives me soft, glowy complexion right away, and over time has evened out my (minimal) redness and discoloration from a few acne scars. The texture of my skin is so smooth; this completely gets rid of the flakes I get from using retin-a micro. This has never broken me out in the 7 months I have used it, and my skin seems less oily. As for wrinkles, I only have a couple of very fine lines around my eyes, so I cannot say this does much for that. But, I will buy this product again for it's added protection against the sun/elements and the effects it has on my complexion. I recommend this to everyone, as long as you aren't looking for a wrinkle cream.

After two bottles, I'm done. My skin hasn't improved a bit. The baby wrinkles I'm starting to get (I'm 26) have worsened, if anything. Plus, there are some toxic ingredients in this product, which may contribute to it's ineffectiveness. There are much better C serums for the price.

I so wanted to love this product and was looking forward to using it after i read the reviews, however i am really disappointed, it gave me a slight reaction which cleared up quick. It seems to have done nothing for my skin tone or fine lines. I use this in conjuction with the eye gel. Have been using it for about 3 weeks. I will finish my bottles and see if there is a difference and will update my review if i notice anything.

I was very excited to try this product after reading the reviews. I bought several things from the skinceuticals line. After using the serum 15 for several weeks, I have discovered that it hasn't really done much in the way of getting rid of fine lines or overall skin appearance. I know many people love this line, but for my dry skin, it didn't do anything.

I've been using this product in the morning for 6 weeks now. I noticed a nice difference in my skin at first. It was more glowy with a nice soft texture with some improvement in my rather extensive discoloration. I also purchased it for the collagen building effect of vitamin c via L-ascorbic acid (I'm 36 and starting to wrinkle). Since overall the improvement I've noticed is minimal for my discoloration and wrinkles, I recently purchased Mama lotion for use at night. The Mama lotion did more for me in one day than this product did in 6 weeks! While I may purchase the 20%C when I run out, I'm wondering if the dropper bottle causes it to break down faster than you can use it. Mine turned brown after 4 weeks even though I keep it air tight in my drawer. I have no idea if it's doing anything at all anymore. But I'm not giving up on vitamin c yet, the data suggests it works on wrinkles over time. If you need to use it every day for like years it would be nice to find stable packaging of L-ascorbic acid at an affordable price unlike this product! I'm wondering about pHaze 16+ C-Strength 20%, it's just as pricey but it's in an opaque tube, why the heck couldn't Skinceuticals do that if vitamin c is what they are all about? Duh!

What a difference this product has made in my skin! I use it in the morning, before I apply my sunscreen, and the overall look of my skin has been visibly improved. My skintone is more even and my skin seems tighter. I use NuCelle's 10% mandelic acid serum at night and am so happy with these two products. I'm in my early 30's with fair, thin skin and wasn't expecting a miracle but I have to say that this vitamin C serum really delivers! I'd previously used Philosophy's Hope and a Prayer vitamin C powder that you can mix with water or moisturizer and the SKinceuticals serum blows that one away as far as results. My only complaints are that it's expensive and it's rumored to lose it's effectiveness once it turns brown, contrary to claims made by Skinceuticals. If this is the case, I'm wondering why companies don't put these vitamin C serums in an airtight container, like Green Cream. There must be a good reason but I don't like spending $75 for a product that may only last a month or so. I keep it in the box underneath my sink and I make sure the lid is always on tight; hopefully, that will help.

This serum has definetly helped with the overall texture and color balance of my skin. I have not broken out once since I started using this line of products. I am totally in love with Skinceuticals! I use the serum 15/B5 and daily moisture AM and then overnight renwal for oily skin with 10% AHA in PM. I have never had more compliments or even skin tone!

A very effective serum. Helps my skin heal (like when I have scabs after a glycolic peel or if I pick something I'm not supposed to), and evens out my skin tone and texture very quickly. Takes 3 days of daily use to notice a difference after I take a break due to being lazy.

I found it clogs my pores around the lips and on the chin a bit, but that's only if I use too much serum (if more than 3 full-size drops for the entire face, and it's supposed to be 4-5 drops for both face and neck).

Ive been using homemade vit c serum w/ ok results- mainly just as a preventative measure.. not until using serum 15 did I obtain even complexion and tone within a month's usage. I am acne prone and this hasnt caused any flare-ups. This product will sting if you are sensitive. I will continue with this until more studies prove that idebenone is a more powerful antioxidant.

I love, love, love this serum. I love how easily it soaks into my skin. I love how it leaves my skin glowing. I love how little you need. And I love the 15% concentration. I found 20 to be a bit irritating and 10 not to give me that "glow". I will definitely repurchase, until I decide to try the Serum 20 again.

It's kinda of wierd to me that Serum 10 and Serum 20 both rated high, but Serum 15 didn't.

Anyways, I really like this serum. It does cause some skin tingling, but that's good since I know it's working. It's left my face really soft and smooth and glowy. It is a bit sticky, but it sinks in after about 5 minutes, and then I apply my moisturizer on top. The only thing I don't like is the dropper - I haven't figured out yet how to get it from dropper to my face without losing some of that precious liquid!

I am quickly becoming a big fan of SkinCeuticals' products. Most of their formulations are state-of-the-art and, after reading numerous books by dermatologists, exactly what is recommended. L-ascorbic acid, for example, must be in an acidic (pH 3, I think) liquid to maintain its potency, and all of SkinCeuticals Vit C products are. Bravo!
