I was disappointed to find Cosmic Cool isn't deep enough to wear alone. I had to go over the purple with black, then go over it with purple again to get Cosmic Cool noticed.

Fibre Rich is loaded with fibers that give nice length but almost no volume whatsoever, similiar to the look of Chanel Extracils. The brush is a wild-n-woolly mess that somehow gets the mascara on nicely. LOL!

The biggest drawback was saggage of my Shu curl, as well as the less-than-outstanding color. I wouldn't buy this one again, in spite of the very reasonable price.

I really like the color of this-a deep plummy color. No matter how much I put on it doesn't do anything for my eyelashes, lengthens them but that is all. Too many coats of this and it clumps. I have been putting it on the tips of my lashes only after I put on my regular mascara. Won't repurchase.

Yes, the brush looks like it's been gnawed on by a gerbil, but it works. It takes a TON of coats to work on me, though. Here's how the process goes: Swipe, swipe, swipe... I see no difference. Swipe, swipe, swipe, swipe, swipe... Hmm, maybe my eyelashes are getting longer. Swipe, swipe, swipe, swipe, swipe... Hey, my eyelashes are HUGE! The effect will sneak up on you. Dramatic lengthening and no clumping, since it goes on in thin coats. I wear hard contacts, and I haven't had any irritation from the fibers. I am disappointed that the color doesn't show up on my dark lashes, unless you're an inch away and are carefully examining in good light. I might as well be wearing black.

Great deep purple color. I found it a little more dry than the Fibre Rich in Black, but I love it just the same. I've found that it gives my lashes, just a tint of color, nothing over powering and just subtle enough to wear during the day, just for a change.

This mascara is so cool. The color is the perfect plum. The formulation is thick and lush and great for plumping the lashes. I was really surprised by how long the mascara lasted. At the end of the day and exercise it was still in place. I received many compliments on my lashes with this great mascara.

I love MAC's FibreLash, so colour was an obvious next step. Cosmic Cool is a soft, muted grape/plum. I really like how it brings out my blue/green eyes. However, if you have dark lashes (like mine) you will need to use a lash primer for the colour to show up. Like all the FibreLash products, it has tiny fibers in the product which make lashes look longer and thicker. The brush is amazing too. Truly a great mascara!
