Really pretty opalescent white. Looks different in all kinds of lighting, especially in my favorite highlight spots (browbone, cheek, tear duct). Packaging is a joke, heaven help the person who came up with that. I'd buy it again though :)

My eyelids are too oily for this to be on my eyes.......
But I use it as highlighter and it gives my face a beautiful mysterious glow!!!
The packaging just sucks!!! The brush is so cheap and sheds!!
It's also difficult to get product out.....

I really really really like...! I bought this as an extra eye brightener and it turned out to be such a pleasant suprise! I used this on homecoming and it dramatically brightened my eyes with a slight purple radiance to its opalic white. Very, very pretty. Will buy again. P.S. I suggest looking for it at target, it's easier to find there.

I bought this on a whim and I can't believe I've gotten so much use out of it. Like others have said, this is such a versatile product! I was looking for a highlighter, actually. So many highlighters are gold, pink, champagne, bronze, whatever, that I was thinking outside of the box to find one that had a cooler tone to it, because I'm pretty light and look better with cool tones. I inspected this very closely in the store, praying to the makeup gods that this wouldn't be glittery and it's not glittery at all. With delicate application and blending, it looks gorgeous on my cheekbones. The packaging is cute but a little clumsy. You screw off the cap, and there's a little brush that you pull out by the handle; I can't see anyone actually using that goofy brush for application. It's too big and gives you no control whatsoever. But I tap a tiny bit of product into the cap, swirl ELF's professional bronzer brush around and tap off the excess to apply as highlighter. It's very sheer so beware if you're looking to use this as an eye shadow. I've used it to layer over shadows and eyeliners but it's just not pigmented enough to really use as shadow. But it's a really nice, inexpensive multitasker.

...WOW. This is one of the most shocking, wonderful, versatile products I've come across. You can use it alone, over another eyeshadow, as an inner corner highlight, or even a highlight down the center of the nose.
Alone on the lid, it comes off as a sheer, sparkly lavender. It has a very iridescent quality to it; shimmering different colors in the light.
Over top of a black eyeshadow, it comes off as a deep, sparkly blue EXACTLY like MAC's Deep Truth eyeshadow. It's a beautiful, royal blue.
Over top of a purple eyeshadow, it comes off as a bright pop of purple, like a more shimmery version of MAC's Parfait Amour eye shadow.
Over top of a brown, it transforms into a dusty rose color/ a soft taupe. It almost reminds me of Sable from MAC.
Down the nose as a highlight, it creates a beautiful pink sheen.
I don't really like the packaging, but I can deal with it. I prefer to use my own brush instead of the one provided.
Get this! :)

This is such a pretty sparkle. I don't know about its staying power yet but I know I could do a million looks with this! I wish the packaging wasn't so weird though, so I could use my own brush for this =(

I LOVE this product.
It makes me feel like a fairy or mermaid. It's shimmery, and gives off several tones. I paired this with pink or purple outer corners & it looked gorgeous.

I bought a few of these a while back, they're actually almost gone now and I will be buying more. They're great products. First, I hate the packaging. I don't like the applicators they come with and it's almost impossible to dip your own eyeshadow brush into the pot. I ended up depotting mine. Now that I can get to the product, I use it quite often. The Opal color is very beautiful. I love the duo chrome effect it has. I can wear it on top of a black base to get a sea blue/purple effect or on top of a lighter base to get a light colored hue. It's one of those eyeshadows that just gives you a bit of 'something else'.. a pop to your eyes.

As the reviewer below me pointed out, this is a pretty unique color. It has kind of a blueish purpleish sheen to it. It works great as a browbone highlighter. It's cheap, also. The only downside is the crappy brush that it comes with.

So this color is very good. I've been looking for a highlighter for the inner corners of my eyes, and here it is. The packaging is confusing, it's kind of hard to tell how much product you're getting. Don't use the brush, really. When I got mine the hairs were just smashed in every direction you could think of. Spend a few dollars and get an eyeshadow brush, it's not that difficult. There could be better staying powder, but what you pay for is what you get.

This is the prettiest ducohrome I've ever had. In the jar/pot it looks white, but applies a pretty puple with blue tones/reflects in it. Very unique color, haven't seen anything like it in my 4 years of collecting makeup. The texture is satiny, and the pigmentation is excellent. It's even, however it's a bit sheer. But it's buildable. Under a black base, it's an amazing bright sapphire blue, similar to MAC's Deep Truth eyeshadow. The purple tones don't really show with the black base though. Over a white base, it's a really pretty shimmery white with blue and violet sheen to it, usually most visible in the sunlight. Without a colored base (on its own), it's a really pretty - almost un-explainable medium purple.I like to put a white pencil right on my browbone, blend it out, then bust this over the pencil. So pretty, The only complaint about this product is the packaging, but I didn't take off a lippie for that. I believe bad packaging can be overlooked... it's not the actual product anyway right! So basically, you get a tall 2.8g screw-top jar. It has a brush included in the "tunnel" type sifter hole. The hole distributes a decent amount of product, but it sheds like CRAZY! But I have put it into a 5 gram jar, and am loving it. Prettiest durgstore color, hands down. Something I would have never expected from NYC. :-)

You know how Carmindy on What Not To Wear is famous for putting that white/lavendar highlight in the inner corner of the eyes? Well I spent months looking for something to achieve this look....until I found this product. It looks white in the packaging but has more of a violet/blue duochrome when applied. Very pretty, cheap, and definitely achieved the look I was going very.

This is my first product comment. I usualy love reading and then buying but I had to comment on this one cause it has become my all time favorite. I love how natural it looks in the eye. I'm not a fan of shimmery products but this one it's not bad at all I really like it. Would buy again.

This is a drugstore gem! You can rarely find a good opal shadow in the drugstore that flashes both pink, blue, and has a white base shadow with sparkles. The other loose shadows are good as well, but this one instantly brightens the eyes and is still subtle enough to wear to work if you place it sheer on lids. It's also a great inner eye highlight shade. It's a little like a Make Up For Ever Diamond Powder with only sparkle instead of microfine glitter.

Opal Sparkle gives a beautiful blueish lavender whitish sparkle to the lid. It comes in a pot with a little brush inside. You shake the pot then apply the powder with the little brush. I haven't had any problems with the brush since I mostly use this color as a highlighter, under the brow. It also lights up the eyes if you apply a little to the inner corners of the eye. I suggest using a primer first so the color will last a little longer. It is also good as a higlighter on the cheeks, lips and decolletage. Ultimately, good product, good price.
