Gorgeous burgundy red. You can definitely wear this color on its own or under a lipstick. I love wearing this under rimmel's Bordeaux lipstick, which is a burgundy lipstick. Def would repurchase!

Gorgeous red, HG status red for pennies! Doesn't happen very often, I know! This is a beautiful, warm. brick red, imo and ideal for people with yellow undertones. I use this lip pencil more as a lipstick. I am not sure if it s a no no but who cares? If your lips are moisturized very well, this stuff will glide smoothly and last for hours. It looks matte without looking dried or chapped. Layer this one with Vincent Longo's Liquid Kiss and you will get glamorous red lips.

Even aside from the great price, I really like NYX lip liners overall -- creamy, easy to apply without tugging, and they blend right into the lipcolor. Auburn is a brownish-red. I use this instead of bright red liners to brown down or tone down red lipcolors. I don't reach for it that much b/c I don't wear red lipstick that much, but this is a staple (I use Natural (nude), Ever (rosey), and Mauve more). Definitely check these out if you get a chance.

I think NYX lipliners are the best product NYX offers. I am reviewing the long pencil liner that needs to be sharpened - although the various pencils may seem alike, I find that they are not, and you really have to be specific about which pencil you're talking about. Anyway, I have a number of NYX lipliners and I have been impressed by the creaminess and ease of application with them all. NYX liners are super creamy and glide on without any tugging. On the flip side, they may not be the longest lasting (you really cant have creamy and long lasting, after all). But no biggie to me. They are such a joy to use that I don't mind touching up. For a couple of bucks you get a lot of product in the long pencil, too. As for the color, this liner is a deep burgundy-red. Beautiful as a liner, great on as a lipcolor, too. For the give-away price, any of NYX lip liners are worth a try.

My most-used lipliner. Great dark pinkish red shade, and very creamy yet still not a hassle to sharpen. Glides on effortlessly, and the price is great too. So far my favorite lip liner!
