I got this also because of Paula Begoun's review, but found out that the only thing it does is to moisture my skin, I didn't feel any anti aging effects. I have oily combo skin, so sufficient moist for me may not be sufficient for those that have drier skin.

I think this would be suitable for someone younger, like 20+, so i don't think i'll be buying it again

I bought this after I realised there's not so much point using my SK-II Signs Treatment Totality moisturizer due to its improper packaging (i.e. jar) and inability to keep antioxidants stable (including the much loved niacinamide). So off I went and bought a bottle of the newly packaged EL Hydra Complete Lotion out of Paula Begoun's recommendation since I'm not getting any younger and antioxidants will be a way to slow down the aging process.

It smells fresh and heavenly, a nice departure from the fragrance-free SK-II moisturizer. I know fragrance won't do your skin any good, but still it's nice to have some sort of smell. Usually one or one and a half pumps are enough to moisturize the whole face. And I'll wake up to a superbly smooth and soft skin.

Overall, it's a pretty good moisturizer, it's not that expensive compared to other lines and other products in EL's line, and it has the best packaging ever. It looks luxurious, hygienic, opaque bottle and a really excellent pump to keep all the antioxidants stable.

I have dry/combination skin with break outs every now and then. This one did not moisturise my skin for the money's worth. I also start getting little bumpy things on my cheek (not pimples but more like white heads?)

Very average moisturizer, who does its job. I use this as a nightcreme, because it doesn't have spf. Noting special about it really.

I have combination skin and have been looking for a moisturizer to add moisture back to my skin.I tried Estee Lauder hydra complete and it did not moisturize my skin as I have expected.Initially it worked well but when the winter months came my skin became very dry.I use this product in the day under my sunscreen but after a couple of hours my skin feels tight and my cheeks are very flaky.Fine lines also appear around my eyes and forehead due to my skin drying out.

This product also runs out quite qiuckly as i have to apply many layers to my skin to keep it in moisturized. It only lasted for about 2 months. It controlled the oil very well but my skin was so uncomfortable that it didn't matter anymore whether my skin was oily or not-as long as ot feels ok.Prehaps it would be a very good day moisturizer in summer when it is humid.

I wanted to change my day cream so I tried this one. Unfortunately, for me it was a totally fiasco. I have combination skin and ocasionally white heads. After using it for 2-3 weeks I was scared to notice that my face was full of white heads(thing that didn't happen while I was using my old moisturiser-Hydra Max by Chanel).
I also use the foam cleanser and the toner , both for normal/combination skin so this souldn't be a problem. What I wait is to finish it as soon as possible!!!

I have dry, sensitive skin with the occasional eczema flare-up. The moisturizer felt quite nice after application except for the fact that it stung my eczema. I wasn't too crazy about the perfumy scent either. It's kind of a shame because it didn't feel greasy and my face felt soft and smooth.

I really like this product, whenever I put it on my skin feels really smooth and this moisturizer offers just the right amount of moisture to my skin in the summer time when it’s normal. The only thing that would make this better would be for there to be some added spf and if they’d tone down the scent. For that I take off a lippie, but all things considered I like this a lot better than most face moisturizers.

I have oily skin and use this as my night moisturizer. I like the light feel of this lotion which for me is non-greasy yet effective. In general, the texture is very smooth and nice feeling, and my face doesn't feel like a grease pit like it might with heavier creams. It does the job, but still looking for my HG night time moisturizer...this may well come close, but still searching...

in the overall rating i marked the quality of the product (whether it actually does what it's supposed to do):3; i had to put on a lot once so i could feel anything; it did stay on all day long (due to hyaluronic acid), but it almost felt like they had forgot to put water (which is what the acid is supposed to maintain)in the cream; Eucerin Hyaluron Tag Filler is a new face cream and it has the same active ingredient as this cream and is far cheaper (28 USD); the lady in the drug store told me this moisturizer from Eucerin is not yet for me (i'm 24), so I've bought Eucerin Hydra Balance which i use at night and it feels quite well.

This moisturizer feels nice going on because it's not greasy or oily and absorbs quickly. That said, I don't like moisturizers that are heavily scented, and this one is. It's a pleasant scent but would be nice as a body lotion, not on your face.

I got this in a swap, about a half a bottle. I had been wanting to try it for some time but was reluctant to shell out for it. I'm on Accutane & my skin is very dry. I've been using jojoba oil as that was the only thing that would help the skin on my face from being completely parched & didn't break me out (Dr. H Rose Cream & maybe Weleda Skin Food did). But anyhow, I got this & thought I'd give it a try. By itself, right now, it's not enough moisture for me. That said, I am rubbing oil into my face which just seems insane so right now my moisture needs are not in the range of normal. I think this will be great when my skin is not so dry. I like the scent & the packaging (pump). When used over jojoba oil, it gives a nice smooth feeling to my face & seems to "lock in" the moisture from the jojoba. Maybe I'm imagining this. Also, one day I had very scaly-feeling patches on my face, even post-jojoba, & this took care of them. So I think it's pretty good.

My skin breaks out easily, so at first I was afraid that this moisturizer would be too oily. However, it has a really nice cream-gel type of texture which isn`t greasy at all. It does a good job moisturizing without being too heavy and is absorbed quite fast by the skin. I think it`s a nice moisturizer, but the only thing it lacks is SPF...Although I`m only 18, I take care of my skin a lot, so I don`t like to stay in the sun for more than 5 mins; some sunscreen would definitely help to prevent melanin growth, sunspots, wrinkles...etc...

I bought this cuz i wanted their free gift. Well, let's just say we should never do that again. It is a OK product but that's about it. I don't feel extra hydrated by it. Since it doesn't have a SPF, i didn't use it during daytime, but as a nite cream, it didn't give me a rested, radiant look that I would expect from a nite product. disappointed with the money i paid, won't buy again

The texture is just right. Non greasy, leaves a kind of silicone feel, which is good for those who hate that sticky feeling. Love the smell. Since it's in a jar, you have to be careful with contamination, but at least you get to use every last blob of it! I went through 2 jars and then got bored. For the price and results, I think I'm off to experiment on other products. Wish me luck!

Very light moisturising lotion. Scent is quite nice, so is the packaging. I found that it did not moisturise for long enough. Had to keep re-applying the product regularly during Winter. The lotion is not oily and is easily absorbed. Would be a nice light moisturiser to wear under foundation. Did not sooth dry/red areas though. Decided not to re-purchase as i wanted a product with more natural ingredients (chemical free). This product is also quite expensive.

I bought this as I wanted something more hydrating for my air-con exposed skin. It felt really good on my skin, smooth and non-oily, and I was beginning to think that it was doing its job when the dreaded little bumps appeared on my skin. SIGH! That means my sensitive skin doesn't like it, and those bumps are so darn hard to get rid of... Otherwise it did an okay job with hydrating, won't think it'd be fantastic for desperately dry, peeling skin though. I have sensitive combi skin.

This, to me, also felt kind of watery?? I love the smell of it. But, I have slightly drier skin than normal I guess because I would prefer it as a day cream, only there is no spf in it. I couldn't tell if it really did anything or not, so I won't repurchase.

I have oily skin, and this cream seems very light and water-like on my skin. I never get the greasy feeling. I've used a couple of this from GWP sets, but will never purchase full size cuz there're BETTER products in the market at a much cheaper price.

Great product. I didn't care too much for the scent tho. Worked well on my skin- no breakouts. I would repurchase.
