Pink. Feminine. Light and airy. Lovely. Smells like sweet roses without the old-woman-scent appeal. I can layer this with Bvlgari Rose Essentielle perfume which is my fave Rose fragrance.

Peony is a beautiful floral that smells like peonies and roses. It has that clean and dry floral smell that I associate with peonies and roses, meaning not very sweet or heady... more of a dry, crisp floral. I happen to think peonies and roses smell similar anyway so I can't say the rose notes of this fragrance overpower the peony notes or vice versa. This fragrance is undoubtedly feminine and I just love the pretty pink color and the packaging. It makes me think of the big, beautiful white and pink peonies that grow in my mom's garden, and pressing my nose into them and smelling their fragrance. My husband even compliments me when I wear this fragrance, which is rare that he even notices. This is a clean and feminine scent that I like to wear when I just want to smell pretty.

I love this scent..my 2nd favorite at Bath&Body..Unfortunately it's sooo hard to find..sales lady says because it is discontinued = /! Can only find it when..the summer $3-$5 sale comes around. Very summery scent..can't wait till the sale. I will def. buy 2 or 3 bottles! But like all body sprays it does require you to spray throughout the day because it is a "body spray" not a "perfume"

When I think of peonies, they usually give me a headache and the smell is not appealing at all. However this body splash is so delicate and smells like a very sweet floral. I love wearing this because it's light and whenever I smell it, it reminds me of spring. :) This is the first peony product I've liked

A very nice light rose scent. Sometimes it's soooo light 6 spritz isn't enough. I happen to love this scent smells quite feminine and soft you'll feel like a lady when you're wearing it. Alas! Staying power isn't very good. I will repurchase if it's on sale.

Peony smells so pretty! I tend to like fruity scents more than florals, but Peony is just so light and refreshing. I agree with previous reviews, that this scent hasn't got much staying power, but I could still smell it on me for a few hours, and it was very pleasant. I hate the idea of having to load more on, but it's a body spray and it's light, so that's ok. I have a big bottle that I keep at home and a smaller one that I carry in my purse.

I think this is BBW's worst scent ever LOL I saw a bunch of it at the sale for 75% off and even still would not touch it. Too floral and a good smelling floral.

I first got this scent right before leaving for New Orleans on a business trip in June of 2004. It is my favorite scent, and I wear it from spring 'til fall. It's gorgeous and light, very inoffensive, and I never tire of it. I don't care how much of this I put on; I never get that, "Wow, too much" feeling.
I also get the wallflowers and home spray in the same scent. I was once putting the lotion on my hands and my friend said, "Something smells like your house..." HA!

This is a beautiful, fresh, 100% floral fragrance without any foody or musky notes. On me it smells more like roses than peonies.
I always get the same compliment: "Something smells like roses - Is that you? You smell really pretty!"
This was one of the few fragrances I brought with me on a 3-month study abroad program, not because it was a favorite, but because it's more sophisticated than most other body splashes. It took a little while to grow on me, but it's become something of a signature scent for me by now. The lasting power is pretty good, especially when I layer with the matching lotion.

I know fragrance is a very persional thing, but I don't get the old ladyish comments at all. I normally can't tolerate florals and loathe powdery scents, but this one is lovely. Smells fresh, clean and 'pink' without being sweet. My bf loves it, my 19 yr old son buries his head in my neck and inhales deeply, and I constantly get comments from everyone, even strangers, that I smell great whenever I wear this. The only reason I'm giving it 4 lippies is 'cuz it only lasts about 1/2 the day. Layering with the lotion or cream helps, but still fades by the end of the day.

Lovely fresh floral! I don't know why so many reviewers thought this was discontinues - it is part of BBW's permanent collection as far as I know! if you like Maybe Baby, Pleasures & other similar fresh florals - you'll love peony.

So I first became familiar with the Peony line after I bought a cream for my mom for her birthday. I didn't want something too strong because i knew she wouldnt wear it. I liked Peony the best and bought it, and she loved it. Then, I was shopping for my co-workers and B&BW had their $5 body splash sale, so I bought two of my co-workers Peony, bc it seemed very soft and feminine, and i thought itd fit their personality. And yesterday, I was looking online and saw the $5 sale again so i went to B&BW looking for White Tea and Ginger, only to discover its been discontinued except in jan and june. :( but i tried peony again and LOVED IT. So basically its a great soft feminine scent, smells like peonies and roses. its great and i love smelling myself with it on.

This is my HG BBW scent. Peonies are my favorite flower and when I wear this it makes me think of being in an English Garden. This smells like a very classic ladylike scent to me. I'd probably die if they ever discontinued this... or have to buy up as much as I can. I agree with the previous user that this spray doesn't last long. I would love it if there was a perfume of it.

This is beautiful. I'm not a BBW fanatic. I enjoy looking through there when the sales associates don't badger me, and there's often things in their store line I like. But when this first came out, I took one sniff and thought it was really gorgeous. There is a rich, but delicate rose component, and the prettiest green leaf hint, but that doesn't mean it isn't peony. It is, to the last sniff. I'm reminded of the height of summer, that aromatic, light, yet rich waft that blazes through the air as you walk by a peony bush, the smell that is so beautiful you HAVE to stop and smell flower after flower. BBW Peony catches it exactly. My only gripe: it doesn't come in at least an EDT, if not an EDP and parfum! It doesn't have much lasting power in the body spray, and why would it? It's a body spray. It lasts better than many, and more than you'd expect, but a body spray is a body spray. When you do the whole combo thing (lotion, gel, body spray) you get a nicer sillage.

This Peony scent is so lovely and clean. One of the few stronger florals that isn't too overpowering. Too bad it is discontinued!!! I have a little less than 1/4 of a bottle of body splash and a small travel size body cream left in this scent and I am savoring every last drop!!!

I am not a flower scent girl at all, i can't stand the smell of flowers, but I gave this a shot and i'm glad I did. This is the greatest smelling B&BW scent ever made, if they dont make this part of the permanet pleasures line they are crazy. My one and only Spring Fragrance. If I win the lottery I'm buying a life time supply of Peony.

Too bad this was limited edition, most things are too strong and nauseating to me but I fell in love with this the moment I smelled it. I put it on my wrist and sniffed at it all day long, it was soft and floral and one of my favorite scents EVER. It doesn't smell old lady to me, it smells very fresh and feminine. I don't use it much anymore because I don't look forward to the day that I run out and it's gone forever. :(

pretty pink peony and rose perfume...what made me buy this is what is says on the back of my bottle...Charming...fresh peony blends with luscious garden rose in the beautiful interpertation of a classic floral fragrance...smells like a bouquet of pink peonies...very nice!
