I tend to love nyx eyeshadows but what botehrs me a lot is that their quality is random. i have golden bronze and its payoff is amazing, herb also. But now i bought this luster color and i´m sooo disapointed, such a cheap quality, chunky, big glitters in an odd texture, no payoff...

This is what I wanted MAC's Sumptuous Olive to be. It is a lovely golden green colour, and no fall out. I love it as an all over eye colour, but it is also great in the crease with a golden all over the lid, or colours like Covergirl's Tapestry Taupe, or MAC's All That Glitters.
However, I hate the NYX packaging, and the shadows that I have from NYX always break when they are in the single packaging. The trio's are excellent though.
Overall, a great colour, blends well, and is a really nice different, yet still neutral colour.

Luster is a yellow based green with gold shimmer with a metallic finish. I prefer a deeper green with a black or brown base for more a natural look. For reference I'm a NW/NC 25 and have a included a swatch image (continue)

Great lid colour, esp for brown eyes, but unfortunately had to pack it on to get a true colour payoff (which lead to major fallout) and it didn't last as long as I thought it would (i.e. 2 hours max) even with UDPP underneath. Maybe this needs a colour base (ontop of UDPP).

This wears well and is really pretty with my olive green hazel eyes. I got a compliment on it today when I wore it as an all-over lid color. It has good color payoff but isn't overly concentrated or vibrant. However, I haven't tried it wet yet.

If I ever go through my huge amount of olive green eyeshadow, this would be one I'd consider restocking.

Looks like a dirty golden olive green in the pot with fine golden micro shimmer. goes on smoothly and evenly with great color pay off. A must have for brown and green eyes especially. If you like to wear dark greens this would be a instant compliment to colors like Nyx mermaid green, milani clover, or Mac humid. Would definitely repurchase, It is BEAUTIFUL!

A gorgeous golden yellow olivey color. I love it. Texture and pigment is AMAZING. I have a swatch of this shade in my pics if anyone needs to see it on NC20 skin, as well as alot of other NYX products!

Luster turned out to be a nice surprise. On me (olive-toned NC 20), it's a neutral shimmery golden olive color. I call it neutral because I can't wear warm colors (especially gold) and I can wear Luster. The color is somewhat on the light side so I can wear it as an all-over lid color blended up towards the brow bone. I smudge Herb at the lashline for a smokier look. One surprise with Luster is the poor staying power. Even over my UDPP, I find that the color fades at the end of the day but I don't know where it's gone.

Luster is one of NYX's more unique, gorgeous colors. On my LLL-MMM, olive skintone, this shows up a shimmery golden army green olive--very unique and complex. Looks great with my hazel eyes! Love the NYX quality--nice pigment, long-lasting, no creasing, and an amazing price!! One of my fave NYX e/s shades, and I have so many of them! Pick this one up if you can find it; it's a winner if you like olivey-greens!

This is an unusual color indeed. It's a metallic olive green. Works well with golds.
