I'd hate to be the wet blanket, but this soap destroyed my skin. I loved all the reviews and the fact that the soap was natural, but it both dried my skin out and made me break out in a bad case of cosmetic acne. The product itself comes in an adorable package and includes some amazing ingredients: camellia oil, azuki beans. I used to live in Japan, and was always told that camellia oil was the secret ingredient to the beautiful skin that a many women had there. Unfortunately, it just didn't do the same for me. It does get great reviews and it isn't overly pricey, so it's worth a shot if you're interested in natural products.

This has become one of my all time favorite face products! I also was one of those that avoided soaps and face cleansers in bar form sticking to facial milks & toners because of all the horror stories but this single product is Amazing!*!* Though i do still use milks and toners, i use this cleansing bar if i feel i need a deeper cleansing. It leaves my face super clean without any excess drying, even if i were to use it constantly ( i tested it out =). But the best of all is that, it gradually brightens my face and reduces hyperpigmentation spots! Seriously...it will brighten and even out your skin tone. I have no idea how it does that...though i suspect the sugar. I adore how the ingredients list is short and simple and that it's fragrance free being pretty much all natural. It has helped my skin to stay clear keeping me from getting any blemishes. I love this facial soap (and company)! The packaging is adorable too* I got my boyfriend hooked on this little gem also. Love it* This may be...the one*

UPDATE:: Still love this cleanser! Works excellent mixed with an exfoliant powder (Adzuki Red Bean / Rice Bran) or face brush. I totally recommend this cleanser to everyone!!! It always amazes me that the less i do to my face and the simplest of products actually make the biggest difference in the clarity of my skin...hmm. The cosmetics industry is a conspiracy lol.

I love this soap! It lathers so well, and my face feels so smooth afterwards. No problems with tightness or oiliness even though this product has camellia oil in it. If anything, it has "evened out" my skin to make it less oily in the T-zone. I will buy this from now on. The packaging is really cute too!

I was pleasantly surprised by this face soap!! I have always been taught to avoid bar soaps like the plague because they usually contain cheap ingredients like lard and binders that will clog your pores, but I was lured in by the siren song of cruelty-free, all-natural ingredients with no parabens. Well, anyway, I heard it was good for sensitive skin and good for helping to fade acne scars, etc, so I figured I'd give it a try. WOW!! The lather feels so luxurious, and after I rinse my face, it feels so soft and smooth and definitely looks brighter. No tightness, no irritation. So far the only place I've found that sells it is chidoriyaworld.com, but I'm keeping my eyes open for other places.

This is one of the best soaps I have ever tried. It lathers up very very nicely (even without the help of foam creating sponge) and the foam is very rich and creamy. It cleans well without drying out my skin and I like it being fragrance free. The Azuki grains are supposed to be mildly exfoliating but I guess you have to rub the soap on your face to have that effect. The soap itself is smaller than I expected (about 2 in. diameter and 7/8 in. thick), but it did list for more than a month and I was using it on face and body. Overall I think it a great soap for both face and body.
