It is a really sweet cinnamon scent. A sexy warm smell. The cinnamon is a very strong note in it, the patchouli comes in under it. It's pretty strong when wet, once it dries is tones down a bit.
I use it to make my car smell good!

Wet this is patchouli and cinnamon, yet I don't hate it. I usually I get headaches from anything with cinnamon. But here it is very light. Just enough to warm the patchouli.

I like that the other notes in this (some of my faves) come out later, like the sandalwood.

On the dry down and later, this is a sexy incensy scent. Similar to the incense they often burn for mass in Catholic churches mixed with the leathe scent of the church pews, and the muskiness of the hymnal books. Warm, sexy and defintely sinful.

Im suprised I liked this because of the cinnamon, but I do. It's a very warm, sexy, intoxicating, incensey smell.

NEEDS a big bottle of this.

Root beer candy (think Bottle Caps from back in the 80s) with a woody note. Harmonious, but the contrast between the innocent candy scent and cologne-like note makes it instantly erotic. My mind went EVERYWHERE south of the gutter after applying and is still going. If a man wore this around me he'd be at the police station the next day filing sexual assault charges. A+++. Lasted about 4 hours on my skin, which is decent. Imp packaging is the worst ever. US$19.50/6 imps and 2 freebies.

I am so happy that I decided to get an imp of Sin. I love it. Not many BPALS work on me. My chemistry seems to either amp honey or eat up any floral notes. Sin reminds me a bit of Scherezade, which I also love. I just walked by my husband and he commented that I smell good. So it looks like a bottle of Sin is in my future.. A very sexy, but not overpowering scent.

I love Sin. It's so sexy. It's sweet and seductive, but a little mischievious too. Like something a vampire would wear. I get so many compliments on Sin. It's spicy, yummy and makes me feel warm all over. Awesome, awesome scent!

When I first put Sin on I was disappointed. The patchoilli was way too heady and the cinnamon kind of added to the headiness. But after it matured on my skin for two hours I started to really like almost love it. It has a very sexy, smoky, woodsy quality to it like I've never experienced in a perfume before. Very true to life smelling rather then synthetic. This isn't really an everyday perfume, but for a special sexy night out this is my top choice. I'm on the fence of giving this four or five stars, will decide at the end of the day.

All these scents make a beautiful blend... reminds me of yes, a headshop at first... but also a temple altar... and my favorite second hand store... and Nine Inch Nails... and my college dorm room.
Hmmm... all my hubby sez is "you smell like incense" but he likes it. That's rare.
I love this but I think I will use it as more of a room scent than a body fragrance. Then again, it will depend upon the mood I'm in... they change so... thankfully BPOL has a scent for every one of them!

Wow! Just like it sounds. Cinnamon and patchoulli and sandalwood.

The cinnamon is actually behaving on my skin today. (For the love...)

I'm not getting a ton of sandalwood, mostly cinnamon and patchoulli.

I wish I wore this on Valentine's Day.......I can barely keep my hands off myself.

For someone who likes the ultra-dark, brooding, vampy scents, this is stunning. Very very dark and you can almost foretell what naughtiness will happen after using a tiny drop on the back of the neck. It's very strong and the person wearing it had better be able to control her perfume, and not let her perfume control her. Like something Mata Hari would wear.

On my wee little frame and my predominately GAP/hippie style, it's so, so not me. I'm more of an Antique Lace, Lick It, foody-scent type. My imp of Sin will find a new home.

Only BPAL knows how to screw up sandalwood and patchouli. Sin is the epitome of badness: sweet, artificial, unwearable. No more BPAL for me.

One of the best BPAL offerings. If you like Oriental fragrances, this is a must-try. The notes, I believe, include patchouli, sandalwood and amber. There's a dash of spice in there as well. On me this is a lovely, sweet/smoky resinous fragrance along the lines of Tabu -- but more refined and smooth than Tabu. The patchouli is definitely apparent, but it doesn't have a "Grateful Dead concert" feel. This is truly an elegant, rich, deep Oriental fragrance; I'm looking forward to wearing it in the fall and winter.

One of my favorite BPals! What a warm, woody, rich, sexy scent. The cinnamon adds a bit of fire and the patchouli adds depth, while the sandalwood and amber meld together so beautifully. They all do - it's so well blended. After my 5ml runs out I'm defintely getting the larger size!

Out of the bottle this really does smell like dark earthy goodness, but it seems a little too much. On the skin it is divine, sexy, and empowering. My sister-in-law smelled this from the bottle (she is a very floral kind of woman) and said "Oh No!" But a few minutes later she kept smelling her hand saying, "This is so nice, what is it?" I told her it was Sin. Def try it.

This fragrance smells very much to me like India Temple Musk in the beginnings or Madini's Musk Gazelle, strong, dark and powerful - When it warms up its nicer on my skin, though, than the above mentioned. I'm not sure I'd want 'me' to smell this powerful all the time, but this would work perfectly for me in a room scent, candle - or maybe even added in a blend with arrowroot powder for a body powder - a light touch is all I need of this one.

What a stunning scent on me. Sin is very, very sexy. Earthy and not too sweet- just seriously "wow". I definitely smell the cinnamon and the patchouli, along with the sandalwood and amber- but this is so well blended nothing stands out too much on its own to overpower.
I have a 5ml and think I will have to reorder the larger size! Incredible, this one just "works" and I haven't put something on that seemed so "me" in a long time.

This was exactly the kind of scent I was expecting for from BPAL!! Mysterious, smokey, sexual incense! This dark wonder is just too, too exciting!! I feel just like a dark winged sex goddess on the prowl whenever I wear it, and it seems that a lot of the smellers I pass by in the ol' hangout take it that way, too *wink* I will definitely buy this again. Oh yeah, mixed with my imp's ear of Follow Me Boy... it's ELECTRIC.. people come up and ask, 'What is THAT you're wearing?' It's kinda funny.. lol

i didnt hate this. I just didnt love it enough to keep. It was a bit too headshoppy for me and was missing a sweet element. I cant do the strickly headshop scents but with other elements in it like vanilla and florals i can do it. I swapped this away.

This is my favorite BPAL scent by far. I can't stand patchouli, but when combined with the other notes in this blend, I can't smell anything but incensy, sexy spices. THIS is the incense I want everything I own to smell like. It's blended so well that I can't pick out any of the notes in particular, except for a bit of heat from the cinnamon. Just plain lovely.

Black Phoenix Alchemy Labs says, "Thouroughly corrupted: amber, sandalwood, black patchouli and cinnamon." It is woody and sweet– nice, but nothing exceptional. Smells like the fragrance booth at a Ren Faire. Like several other BPALs.
