Ok. Here is the 411 on my hair. I don't dye it, it's frizzy and wavy and dry. And I am actively trying to grow it out. I have tried tons of products and nothing seemed to work. Until now.

MOP Mixed Greens Shampoo is great! You don't need a lot and it cleans my hair really well without stripping it dry. I also use the MOP Mixed Greens Conditioner and it works just as well! Again, you don't need a lot which saves you on money and product! The smell is amazing and I would buy it again just for that reason! But the way it works on my hair isn't bad either. I am also a fan of the organic part of this product! I have been trying to go green and this is a great way for my hair to not be involved with all the chemicals in my old school Redken Smooth Down.

Love this stuff!!

This is a good low-sudsing, non-stripping shampoo for dry hair. I wash everyday and I have noticed my finely textured, dry hair shafted/ oily-scalp hair looks better and is more manageable.

Re: the packaging- I appreciate that you can't pour out a lot of product at once- you don't need to use that much. Also, I own't repurchase. It's just too expensive and there are better values out there.

This and the lemongrass shampoo...fantastic. You name a shampoo brand, i have tried it. I have a lot of favorites, im partial to a lot of expensive stuff. But this was great, minimal lather, but my hair still felt very clean, doesnt fade my color, smells great, and manages my dryness.
Im a sucker for more natural products as well, and this line has great ingredients

I bought a MOP travel kit with small versions of Mixed Greens shampoo and conditioner along with Glisten Shine Drops. The Mixed Greens shampoo has a very fresh, albeit slightly weird scent. It lathers well, cleans adequately, and is silicone-free, but my sensitive and itchy scalp isn't completely satisfied. Might be a good shampoo for frequent use (I wash my hair just a few times a week) for someone who doesn't suffer from scalp problems. Now I'm looking forward to trying the sulfate-free shampoos in MOP’s C-system line.

Nope, never again. This stuff left my hair a dry tangled mess. It may be because I have dry frizzy hair, but it seemed to be exceptionally drying. I used it twice so I did not see any flakes, but it did irritate my scalp, so I'm sure the flakes were right around the corner. I appreciate the organic and natural position, but sometimes all-natural is not all good. Maybe for girls with oily hair this would be appropriate, but otherwise I have to say no.

Not good. I was really hoping this shampoo (and the matching conditioner) would do great things for my hair. A hairdresser friend with the most amazingly shiny gorgeous hair recommended this. It's much pricier than I would usually go for and personally I'm not a huge fan of 'natural' products because I tend to react badly to them. This seemed OK to begin with - it didn't dry out my fine, chemically treated dry hair. And it actually seemed to make my hair less fluffy and gave definition to my waves. But it leaves some kind of build-up on my scalp which makes it itch. I have never ever had dandruff and after just two washes I was on my way to flakes and that is just fundamentally bad. Waste of money :-(

Nope not good stuff. My hair came out in clumps in my hand, no exaggerations! This would be good for oily hair or maybe as a clarifying shampoo. But not on thick dry hair. Thick haired girls beware! Thank God I bought a sample size because I ended up tossing it out.

Oooh. NOT a fan!

I have coloured hair down to my bra band, and I used this in conjunction with its matching conditioner.

* Dried my generally pretty well behaved hair out. It felt like straw and I couldn't get a comb through it.
* Smells artificial and chemically nasty. It's so bad that I want to wash my hair - right after I've just washed my hair.
* I get an unbelievably itchy scalp and blimmin' dandruff
* My hair feels sticky and unclean
* My hair looks dull and is unmanageable.
* And "Organic" sure includes a lot of irritating sounding un-pronounceable chemicals these days!

Hateful hateful stuff! Ugh!

MOP do make some wonderful products, but this is not one of them. I have been using the Mixed Greens shampoo and conditioner and have found that they weigh down my thick curly hair. I looks dirty after one day when normally I can go 3 or 4 days between washes. The packing is useless - too hard to squeeze out product when nearing the end of the bottle. On the plus side - it smells nice, quality organic products are used and its good for a refresher between using other shampoos. I will not repurchase however.

I love the concept of this product and the quality of ingrediants. Seems to deep cleanse my hair very well. However, this leaves my brunette fine hair dry and without volume. My hair colour is left without lustre and richness.

I really wanted to like this. It smells great, but it seems to leave my hair feeling sticky. I also have the conditioner so I don't which one is the culprit - maybe it's both. I will use it up - I will either alternate it with my Pantene Gentle Care shampoo which is great, leave hair really soft or use it as a bubble bath.

Left my hair soft (almost too soft) and healthy looking.
BUT
did horible things to my scalp, used it twice and it made my scalp itch like mad and gave me dandruff, which was a suprise as I've used other MOP shampoos with no problems. Glad I only had a sample.

I bought this because I wanted to invest on a quality shampoo, and have been using this for a couple of weeks now. I wish I had investigated a bit more before buying a product just because it's highly advertised for being "organic" - this shampoo actually has many potentially irritative ingredients, no matter how fashionable the brand may be.
So far, this has been OK - a nice smell, even though that's not the main thing in a shampoo for me. I gave packaging a 3, since I think there a handier bottles on the market. There are better quality products available and many are cheaper in price.
All in all, this is not such a super-shampoo that I would pay another 20 euros for it...
A health food store brand would be as good or better when it comes to being organic and non-toxic. This is not for someone with super-sensitive scalp or skin, as has been stated before.

EDIT: Despite my initial decision, I bought this again - Lookfantastic had a bargain with this and several other MOP products, and I fell for it..
I really do like this shampoo and decided to give it one more lippie.

I love this shampoo. It makes my hair smell so good. Also, it cleans it very well, but doesn't overclean it. It has Sodium Laureth Sufate - a little bit gentler than Sodium Laurel Sulfate. Makes my hair nice and shiny. Full of all kinds of herby stuff. I think I'll get some more when I run out.

I got this free when I took a mop class. I liked it just fine, though some girls at my work found it a little drying on their hair. No silicones, though, so maybe that's why. Anyways, I liked the fresh, planty? smell and the way it lathered. I would probably buy it.

This shampoo really works on my fine textured (but a lot of) processed, dry hair. When I first used it I expected a big lather, however as this is an organic products it contains no artifical ingredients that most shampoos do to elicit lather. Never mind - because this shampoo cleans my hair like no other, leaves it smooth and hydrated without the usual fluffiness my hair has a tendancy to acquire. It also leaves my scalp clean, as this normally can become oily quickly, without the tingly sensation which I hate. Used in conjunction this really has made my hair a whole different kettle of fish to deal with (my hair-stylist was right!). Have recently repurchased this, and unlike some of the other reviews I find that this product does not strip my hair of colour.

I liked that this product is all natural and doesn't contain any harsh ingredients. However, for my fine hair it was too heavy. It didn't lather very well and I had to mix the MOP Basil Mint together to feel clean. Maybe this would be good for someone with thick, coarse and dry hair.

Do not buy this. I loved it the first few times I used it... then it totally started to dry out my hair. After I asked a professional about this she advised that is Ph balanced for infant hair and despite what it says on the packaging, is really damaging and NOT actually organic. Lame! On top of all that, I couldn't get the comb thru my hair it was soooo tangled.

I thought I would really like this after I tried and loved MOP’s Extreme Moisture conditioner. But I don’t, and will definitely not be repurchasing. I have also found that this tends to strip the color out of my hair. Also, it is not moisturizing at all and tends to leave my hair very dry unless used with a superrich conditioner like Garnier 3 Minute Mask. A shampoo should not have to depend on a conditioner to be just decent. It’s best use is as an infrequent clarifying shampoo – which I do need because I put a lot of silicone in my hair to smooth it. Other than that, no way, no good.
