I put a "yes" for repurchase because it's not Palladio's fault that I chose the wrong shade. I am NC10 & bought the shade Natural after I assumed translucent would be too pink (it's not). Natural is more suited for someone NC20+. However with that issue aside, this is an awesome powder if you're tan enough. It absorbs oil, sets make up all day, & works just as well (if not better) than most higher end powders on the market.

if you have oily skin, you HAVE to try this out. i got it for $4.99 at ulta. it comes with a LOT of powder and you only need a little. i use this as a setting powder all over my face, and it keeps my oily nose under control for a while. (i have an EXTREMELY oily nose.)
i press this on my face using too faced powder pouf brush, i don't really like "blending" it onto my skin because i feel like it rubs off some of my foundation. (estee lauder double wear.)
this kind of smells like baby powder which i don't really mind because the scent goes away after a while.
the packagaing is awful omg. it's literally like a cardboard box with a lid that automatically just pops off. do not use this for travel/throwing in your purse. i actually use maybelline dream matte powder for touchups throughout the day, and both powders put together do not cake up. when you first purchase, you have to actually poke holes in the inside so the powder comes out. do not poke all of them. it will be messy. i usually flip this upside down, then back up and get the powder from the cap that's leftover when i flipped it.
i had to take a lipstick off for the awful packaging.
but overall, if you have oily skin try this. there's not much to lose, for $4.99, and you get ALOT of product AND a little goes a long way.

Traveling is impossible with this the packaging sucks but the product is not so bad except it does nothing for oil control. It smells great and it sets my foundation but I wont repurchase due to the lack of oil control

this is amazing at keeping me mat while having that satin finish that keeps my skin from looking dead (tho i do enjoy a completely mat look now and then, so i maybe biased). it has the finish similar to the maybelline dream matte powder while keeping me mat for about the same amount of time as the blot powder, i haven't really tested it yet but it seems pretty similar and i prefer the finish of this one. so if you're planning to get the maybelline dream matte powder, don't bother, get this instead. blot powder from mac, however, is still worth trying, since its a pressed powder and if you tend to do touch ups (which i detest with a passion, i don't have the time or energy to worry about my makeup on a daily basis!), it will be very convenient.i have yet to try it in the translucent formula but i definitely will in the near future!

this product does its job well enough. its nothing amazing but it sets my foundation and keep the oiliness of my face at bay for about 3 hours or so... i did notice that it darkens a bit when my face gets oily so i look a bit orange. but after i blot, the color's ok again. i wont repurchase just because i recently discovered dior poudre libre and that powder threw this out of the ballpark.. it was just no contest.

This is my HG powder. I have been using it for over a year and have purchased several containers. I love how fine the powder is. It goes on great and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. The holes in the container are big so a lot of powder can come out if you set it on it's side or put it upside down. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars for packaging. An easy fix would be to tape up some holes. It's not that big of a deal really. I have fair-medium skin depending on the season and I find the Natural to be perfect for me. I haven't even considered buying another powder since finding Palladio Rice Powder.

I have mixed feelings about this. Now I like to switch up foundations a lot depending the kind of coverage I want. When I used this with a cream foundation (the balm time balm) it has no oil control whats so ever I got oily within 3 hours after application. It didnt turn dark, almost like a translucent powder, looked soft and natural. When I used this with a liquid foundation (Hard Candy one step) I feel like it turned darker I got oily after 4-5 hours of application. when I used this with Avon extralasting foundation it did not become oily at all, I was oil free the whole day. I also used this with a powder foundation mark buff, my sister told me my face looked blotchy, and I felt oily after 3 hours. From my experience it gives a soft glow-matte finish. It makes you look healthy and soft. Im gonna give it another try and see....
P.S I only have an oily t-zone... I don't consider myself that oily, I was shocked that I didn't experience the same staying power as everyone else.

I LOVE this product. I set my MAC prolongwear with this and it smells wonderful, and keeps my face shine-free and even toned. The rice powder in this sops up the oil too. Palladio loose powder can be purchased at Sally's or Ulta, i get mine at Sally's..its no more than $5. Definately worth the money. I apply the powder with my MAC 150 after i apply my foundation.

Pros: great for controlling oily skin when using it as a setting powder. Super cheap ! I bought mine from Sallys for $5.
Cons: not ideal for traveling due to the packaging. If the smell of baby powder bothers you, I wouldn't recommend this product.
Overall, I like this product. It leaves my face with a matte finish and definitely helps control oiliness around my t zone. I would but this again.

I have this product in the shade natural. I bought this because I think the packaging is cute. It turns out to be a great setting powder. It is finely milled, doesn't break me out, and does a good job setting my foundation without making my dry skin look cakey. It's not expensive, and while the finish is in no way glowy or glittery, I don't find it overly matte either. Would repurchase.

This powder is awesome and that's exactly why I've been buying it for five years. The puff that comes with it can fall apart <-- my only complaint. I usually use a brush when applying this stuff. If I'm in a hurry and don't have time for foundation, this stuff saves my life. However, when I would put this over a certain brand of foundation (I forgot which one it was), it would cake and look strange. But it works alright with my current foundation if I just make sure it's dry before applying. This powder really gets rid of shine, it has a pleasant smell, and makes your skin feel nice and soft. Great product.

I love this powder because it sets my makeup well without settling into lines or pores. It does have a bit of a smell but that goes away. The packaging is horrible and so is the stiff cheap puff. I use a nyx powder puff, dip it in and scrape of the excess on the side. I then pat not rub it on to my skin. Since I do have dry skin, but love the airbrushed look of this powder, I spritz my face with a fine mist of water to finish. This "melts" the powder into the skin and makes my flawed face look flawless, at least from five feet away.
I definitely prefer this to the more expensive BE mineral veil.

I liked it but you cannot wear this product alone, which i did not know when i bought it but it was only 5 bucks, it does feel nice on my skin and it doesnt make me breakout but it does wears off quickly like after an hour or 2,(which is probably due o the fact that i use to wear it alone) when i finally did try it over foundation it looked great. One thing that I really dislike about the product is the shade selection which is why i gave it a 3, I bought it in the darkest color which is Warm Beige and it still was slightly lighter then my original skintone, but for 5 dollars it better then most of the expensive products.

The scent reminds me of Coty Airspun powder, but very light. I don't smell it after it's on my skin. I have combination skin, so I only use a little in my t-zone to set my foundation. Update: This powder has really held up against oil and humidity this summer. I have never worn a powder that absorbed like this one does, but it manages to look natural and not cakey. I use the amount of powder left inside the lid instead of dipping a brush into the powder. Another plus is my pores seem to disappear and it gives an overall flawless appearance when you use foundation under it. It's really good, and I find myself using it more than my expensive HD powder because this one photographs well.

Have heard lots of great comments about this product on YouTube and reading reviews, but I was very disappointed. Overall, the powder itself was fine, just nothing spectacular.
The one thing that I will not be able to get over is the smell. Ew! It reminds me of someone of the makeup that my grandma kept in her bathroom and had probably had it since the time I was born. Way too powdery scented! Once applied, the smell doesn't go away either.
Such a bummer! Also - the packaging is definitely annoying like other reviewers stated.

I LOVE this stuff!! I've used many different powders to set my foundation and I always go for the translucent powders. However, with all of the other powders that claim to be translucent they usually end up making me looking like a ghost or adding some kind of unwanted color to my face. This stuff though, is completely translucent and gives my foundation a beautiful finish. I will definitely be repurchasing for as long as they make this stuff.

I love this stuff. Using the included puff, I apply the powder heavily to my T-zone and my under-eye area (to catch fall-out from my eye makeup) after my foundation Then after I'm done with my eye makeup, I brush away the visible powder and finish the rest of my face. This product keeps my face matte and very soft-looking. I've gotten a lot of compliments on my skin since using this powder. I highly recommend this to people with combination skin.

This powder, for the price, does a very good job. It sets make-up well, assists in oil control, mattifies, and doesn't settle into my pores. It can look too cakey easily, so use very little on a kabuki brush. Or a sponge to press it on around the eyes and nose.
It's a pretty good touch-up powder since it sets well and doesn't disturb the rest of the make-up. It does have a baby powder scent, but it honestly doesn't last. You're obviously going to smell it if you cram your nose up to it, but once you set a little on your face the smell is gone.
The only thing I dislike about it is the packaging. Because the cap isn't a screw-on, it's very easy to make a mess. This isn't something you can have in your purse unless you put some in a different container.
Other than that, great powder. Does what it says at a great low price.

I don't understand the raves for this powder, maybe i'm not using it correctly but I find it super cakey and not natural at all. Even when applied with a light hand + my beloved eco tools powder brush... It looks like i'm wearing powder. Perhaps I've become accustomed to more filled milled powders, like Coty or Too Faced... but this one makes me feel like I look like my batty grandma!
En plus, while the oil control is better than most, its not all day affair. I guess I would rather blot (the blotting papers from this brand are divine!) than to cake this stuff on. Sigh. I guess others have better luck than I did, maybe you will too. For the price, its not going to break your wallet to try.
