Phh. I bought mine in 2007. Loved it <3 Except....SHIT the stuff creases!! For the money $36.00..The Name..and the PRICE?? SMASHBOX You've got BRASS BALLS!! I loved the colors, the brush and the design of the palette, it really made me feel good until WHAT? It smeared...Smashbox Really wants make us look like CLOWNS and walk away with our money..NO JOKE. They need to work on a better formula and make up for the greed you have shown. I still have some so, it really lasted a long time. I will not buy again, although I want a new one that works!

Nice colours and that's it. the product dryes very fast in the pallet. The pigmentation is not satisfactory, they go on so sheer...not for me. Definitely will not re-purchase it again.

When I first received this product I was extremely disappointed. First off the brush that comes with this palette is useless and don't even bother with it. I didn't care for it much as an eyeliner mostly because the colors don't stay like that and aren't smooth or pigmented enough for me. What I do really like this for though is using this as a colored base for eye shadows and for that it works really well. I do use my UDPP underneath and it doesn't crease on me throughout the day. So as eyeliners I don't like, but as a variety of cream colored bases I do like. The amount of product you get though is very minimal and the product is really expensive for that. So I can't say that I recommend this product. I just found a way to use a product that I didn't like so much to begin with.

I fell for the slim packaging. The price is high. I think that due to my oily eyelids (this might not be the case for everyone) the colors glided right off and creased like no other XD I might have gotten better results if I used a primer but to be honest it probably wouldn't have made that much of a difference. I would definitely not use this during the summer as liner. Will not buy again...

I am really glad that I received this in a swap instead of spending my own money on it. The colors are pretty but there's only one color in there that I have used. I have tried four colors ( not including the one that I have worn) and they were either to strong or not strong enough. Disappointing:( And the one I have worn (Midnight green) has been worn for five days straight, (I love that color...it makes up for the disappointment of the other ones.) but it is halfway gone. I will not repurchase although I think I will get Midnight green if they sell it seperately. Overall I think some people could really like it. It is a nice way of sampling their eyeliner colors and the lasting power is pretty good plus the size is really good for traveling. Be worned though it smudges when you apply.
Edit:
The more I use it the more I like it. I love the variety of all the colors, and the smudging is actually not too bad I never have to reapply. I'm planning on repurchasing after I finish this one. I don't know if I would recommend it to everyone, but I really love it.
Edit:
Don't listen to anything I just wrote. Yes, this is overpriced but it is so convenient to have on hand. The size is perfect and it has such a variety of colors. I don't know if I can afford to repurchse, but I will definitely enjoy while I have it. I will say however the quality of the products really varies from liner to liner. Some of them smudge and crease until you want to tear your hair out while others stay put. Just keep that in mind

The colors are nice but they don't stay put.
But what really really bothers me is that it is so small ! And made in China ! I spent €37 ($51) for a sample made in China... I really feel i've been robbed...

fun for travel, ok colours, there is a couple in it I will not use.
applicationi is ok , the pigment level is not as intense as i would like normaly.
but the worst part is - it smudges like crazy, you must use udpp under it to get any mileage out of the wear.
the packaging while nice and compact is great except the finish gets so ucky when you handle it.
the lack of staying power makes this a no go in my books.

Pros: 10 colors, good consistency, good color payoff, easy application.
Cons: Small amount of liner (.15g each), fairly expensive for what you get.
Lava - dark gray with sparkle
Picasso - dark blue
Midnight Purple - royal purple
Midnight Brown - dark brown
Putty - warm taupe/light brown
Caviar - black
Thunder - cool taupe
Midnight Green - dark green
Deep Bronze - warm brown with sparkle
Cameo - dark reddish brown
If you like your liner subtle and natural, this is a great palette. It's super tiny, just about the size of a credit card but thicker, and perfect for travel. The range of colors can't be beat. I personally did not experience fading or smudging. The brush is just OK, I prefer an angled liner brush.

I really like this palette. The colours are beautiful, and are very wearable, but have a nice range. The liners go on nicely with decent intensity. I have found them to last all day on me, but I do not touch once the liner goes on. They are pretty smudgey at first, but they do stay put if not touched. (And we shouldn't be rubbing our eyes all day, anyway...)
The brush, meh... but I don't use brushes from compacts as a rule.

Melts off the lids so quickly, I wonder why I even bother with it. What a major rip-off!
I read other the other posts/complaints that expressed lots of smudge. While I agree with the smudging, I have to say that what's worse is the fading.
Now I just use the brownish-grey shade, "Thunder", for filling in my brows. Let me tell you, even on the brow, it fades. Pfft. Crap.

STAYING POWER: Non-existent as a liner. I bought this after my Mom recommended it --- she took it on a cruise. However, for $32 I was shocked at how fast the liner rubbed off and really pissed when it caused rub-off above my crease. Even with TFSI, it's a no-go.
COLORS: Beautiful. Even though some look similar in the pans, they swatch to beautiful, earthy colors.
SAVING GRACE: Someone suggested using this as a cream base for powder shadow. I put it over TFSI and then blended shadows on top, and it was visually similar to the effect of MAC paint pots, and the base color gave dimension to the eye.

Cute and convenient package, great color selection - shame that the color doesn't last! I bought this because I thought it would be convenient to have lots of different colors in one small, easy-to-carry case. I've used Thunder, Picasso, and Midnight Purple so far. NONE of them last more than 4 hours - and that's on a cool day, sitting in an office or library, and with UDPP underneath! AND I have mature, not oily, skin.
They are pretty colors, and easy to apply with my own brushes (I hate the stiff little brush this comes with, but then again I'm a firm believer in using good-quality stand-alone brushes; most "included applicators" are crummy). But they just don't last, even if I'm not running around sweating. I'm going to stick to Bobbi Brown gel eyeliners - just as easy to apply and they last and last.

This is such a cute little thing! The liners in this palette come in an array of pretty colors but they do smear easily so be careful when touching your eyes!
It's expensive $32 at Sephora but in my opinion worth it because you really only need very little.
The brush though is kind of cheesy so I just use an angled eyeliner brush.

This is the only eyeliner I've ever been able to apply properly on my top lash line. Pencils and liquid just don't work for me and I end up looking like a 5 year old let loose in her mother's make up bag. But this stuff is so ridiculously easy to apply with the brush, I dot it along my lash line, and push it down between the lashes, to produce a really nice effect. If eyeliner has always been a struggle for you then I really really recommend this.

I really like this product. I have a hard time wearing eyeliner due to sensetive eyes. I usually can't get close enough to the lash line to look good. I love how my eyes look in liner but almost always messed it up or just wouldn't wear any. This stuff rocks. I don't have to pull my eyes to get a nice line. It goes on really smooth. It will smudge if you TOUCH it before 60 seconds. It does need time to set. Finally I think I have found my one and only eyeliner. Too bad it cost so much....my husband hasn't seen the credit card statement yet. LOL!!!

In terms of color selection and travel, this slim collection of mini cream liners can't be beat. There is an excellent assortment of ten shades, all of which are suitable for most skin tones in the light to medium/dark range and it's tiny applicator brush is functional (although unless I'm touching up and don't have my preferred brushes, I wouldn't use it). With that said, the QUALITY of these liners is average to poor (depending on the shade). Only Mac's cream liners (and a few of BB's) stay put through (most of) the day on my lids (if I am NOT using a shadow base) but these tend to either smudge or mysteriously evaporate from my lids in about two hours.
Bottom line: This can't be beat as a purse/touch-up product because it is so compact and light (I'm guessing about half the weight of a new Nano) and the color selection is great to play with. As for the AM makeup application, however, this is a waste of time that will just disappear or smudge in a few hours.
I keep this in the mini make-up kit I take with me in my day bag and it's perfect for little touch-ups towards the end of the work day.
UPDATE Jan 2009: To hell with its convenient portability and color variety. This formula simply does not stay on my lids for more than 20 minutes. Probably the most poorly performing liners I've ever used.

I bought this in a trial kit at sephora. I like the brow powders, but the eyeliners I am not too sure about. They slide off my lid and under my eye and the colors are not very vibrant. I layer them sometimes but I probably won't buy this again. I think someone with normal skin or dry skin would benefit from this but if you have very oily skin then I wouldn't buy this.

I bought this with the Sephora gift card I got from my boyfriend. This has lasted about a year and a half. I have used every color and they all look great with my everyday, neutral eye shadows. I have been so pleased with this. It stays put, it is easy to apply, and I like the color selection. I will not purchase this again, however, because I like to try new things, but I will be slightly sad when this completely runs out. UPDATE: A few days ago, I decided to d something different with my eye makeup, and part of that decision was to stop wearing eyeliner and go for a few more non-brown colored eye shadows instead. Today I noticed that I did not have my regular smudges under my eyes like I usually do in the mid afternoon. Then I realized that I have not had the smudges each day that I did not wear this eyeliner. What an epiphany! I am sad that I finally realized my Smashbox was doing this, but at least I know that there actually was a cause to the smudges, and it wasn't just the way I was going to look everytime I put on eye makeup.

I got this eyeliner palette, and i have only used a couple of shades on it. It's great though, doesn't smudge, lasts all day, and goes on very smoothly. However I find it a bit difficult to use the flat eyeliner brush, not as easy to control the strokes as pencil liner for me. Maybe I need more practice :-)

I love this packaging easy to travel with to its the size of a credit card. and gives you the chance to try alot of the colors. I bought mine when qvc had it on air Ive had mine for a long time it really last. It was when it first came out the stores have them now. The brush that it comes with is easy to walk along the lash lines with. Easy to smudge for that smokey eye look. Only down fall is through out the day it runs alittle on the lower lash line not really a prob if going for that smokey look but for some who want that fine line look then i wouldnt rec this for you. Im going to try a water proof eyeliner next.
