This is one of the better fragrances I've tried. On days that I want to just smell like fresh out of the shower, especially on warm days, I put this on. It's never overpowering, not offensive and just simple. The downside is it doesn't stay too long on the skin. Other than that, it's something that I will keep buying. Having a hard time though finding it in my favorite perfume shop.

This is my favorite out of the "Clean" line. On me it wears softly, a skin scent. I get a lot of lavender and clean musk in this one - kind of like expensive soap. I don't get the bergamot or any of the other notes listed, and it stays linear for most of the day (more lavender in the beginning, more musk later, but essentially the same clean but cozy lavender-musk combo). The musk takes out the bitterness of the lavender you can get sometimes, by giving it a soft, "fuzzy" edge. It's not as overtly shampoo-y or laundry detergent like as the other Clean scents, nor is it overly girly like the sweet lily-of-the-valley that is present in clean shower fresh. Men could probably wear this one with ease, I find it very unisex. Good office/summer scent when you want to smell nice but not like anything in particular. Definitely not very memorable, but very comforting and familiar, I will repurchase a small bottle when I run out.

I like this one alot. It doesnt last on me as long as I would like. But its a very feminine clean smell. I bought a set of the Clean EDP's from HSN. This was my fave. I like them all really. I think the only one that isnt my fave is the more outdoor smelling one. Otherwise...this is super easy to wear. Not offensive at all. Very fresh and pleasant. The bottle is nothing special to look at. But I think that reflects the simple idea of the brand. This one is a nice one for sure.

I eyed this fragrance at Ulta for a long time, but never purchased it until I saw it at tj maxx for $5.99. I don't like loud, in your face scents, which is what drew me to this line to begin with--the brand "clean". I adore this fragrance for it's unassuming floral notes, easy to wear freshness, and the sense that I never feel overpowered by it, like other fragrances. I find it beautiful, ageless, and timeless, a scent that I can imagine wearing any day for many years to come.

I love this fragrance; I think it's the best version of the Clean line-up. But it does not last long on my skin so I bought the Clean Ultimate body cream too, and even the combo of cream layered under EDP spray does not make a big difference in lasting power.

I would still buy this again though, because it smells so good, but I'll have to hunt for real bargains since full retail is way too much to spend on something that, for me, behaves more like a body spray.

With the name "Ultimate," I expected this perfume to smell like some kind of super-strong laundry detergent. Instead, it smells like flowers. I really like the smell of soaps and detergents, so a floral scent was a disappointment to me.

This fragrance is wonderful. 'PERFUME, The Guide' gave this fragrance 1 star, stating (under the Clean Ultimate description) "These Clean scents are like a party game: name that household product!" So much for Turin and Sanchez. The packaging is simple and minimal, nothing fancy. This aroma reminds me so much of an Italian soap. How many times have we wanted to capture that experience and carry it with us, for it is over far too soon in the shower. I ADORE this fragrance. I have many samples of exotic and hard to find perfumes and sometimes splurge to purchase. After a sample of this i made a purchase and am so glad I did. It is not expensive and I love smelling Clean.

I tried 3 Clean perfumes in store and this is the best I smelled among them. and decided to purchase. I like shower fresh scents and this is perfect. It's simple but smells divine. I'm surprised to find out that its notes are my faves also like bergamot, lavender, musk, rose and neroli. I'm not expert on describing scents but I got familiar with the notes that most of my perfumes have.

I should start by saying I don't like citrus notes in perfumery. Clean Ultimate is an aggressive, citrusy scent that has a slightly piercing sour note, and frankly doesn't smell especially "clean". I got suckered in by the packaging aestheic and cute concept. Like my Fresh Index bottles, this looks nice but goes unspritzed (except maybe by guests)

I love this fragrence so much! it smells like being wrapped up in a blanket fresh out of the dryer on a cold day. I receive lots of compliments when I am wearing this, mostly saying that it is a unique smell and that I smell clean. It has a cozy smell and I think that it is worth the price and I am in love with it

Tried practically all the Clean fragrances in Sephora here, loved this one the most, smells like laundry which I love because it is non-intrusive and you won't get complaints from co-workers about fragrance over-kill. Its a toss-up between Harajuku Lover's Love and this one for me. And yes, it does smell sorta like Philosophy's Amazing Grace but I still prefer the dryer-sheet smell of Clean Ultimate. Its a shame that I can't ship in perfumes to Singapore so I've gotta pay the higher price in Sephora Singapore.

This product smells very "clean". I bought this along with the 3 other frangrances in the clean line. I smell a tad bit of lemon, sorry I cannot describe frangrances like a pro. I will use this fragrance at night before bedtime and it is great as an air freshner for the washroom. I probably would not use this fragrance during the day, as I prefer something a tad bit more sweet. I would also not purchase these scents at regular price.

This is not the most wonderful, unique, exciting scent to wear. I don't wear this when I want attention or to feel fabulous. I wear this when I want to smell fresh and clean. I bought the CLEAN gift set that has the original Clean, Ultimate, Warm Cotton, and Fresh shower or something like that. Out of all those scents, Ultimate is always the one I reach for.

It's a calm scent, and I would not call it "girly," but it isn't too masculine either...it's pretty neutral. I can smell the lavender in it, and that's nice.

Overall it's a great scent to wear when you just want to smell good. I think it's pretty office-friendly, especially if you only do one spray. I like spraying it on the back of my neck so that my hair smells good too :-)

The packaging: The bottle is pretty boring, but it suits the fragrance's character completely... it's not fussy, it's not there to impress you or make you swoon. It's just what it is.

I "tried on" this perfume at Sephora and went a day with it on my wrist. As the day went by, I had mixed feelings about this scent. Smelled good at first. Then smelled sour, like lemongrass or mildew. Later on finally smelled really nice, but I can't get over the sour layer and don't plan on purchasing this product.

At first, I liked the smell of Clean Ultimate. It reminded me of Egyptian Musk from the late 80s, where everyone walked around smelling vaguely of dryer sheets. I got a sample online, and used the tiniest drop at the pulse points. My husband started gagging. "Clean"? he said, "You smell like you took a bath in stinky musk oil. YUCK".

Well, that killed it for me!

I love the smell of Philosophy's Pure Grace but the staying power is terrible. I had heard that this was a similar fragrance and decided to try it. Luckily, I got it in TSV set on HSN so it was pretty cheap (for less that $50 I got 4 products) I would never spend the $75 to buy this fragrance on it's own.

It's similar to PG but not the same. I think this has a citrusy twist to it. Clean but a little lemony. And the staying power isn't any better than PG. I can spritz myself several times and no one can smell it a few hours later. You can't do that with "normal" fragrances as it would be soooo overpowering. I won't buy again.

Boo to Philosophy.. I don't understand why people buy that brand in their perfumes. Why would anyone want to pay for a cologne that is the same price as most perfumes? Annnd it lasts no time and smells watered down. If anyone has ever watched Philosophy on QVC, you can tell why they always sell layering sets and try to tell you to layer it all every day. A perfume should last and stand on it's own without extra body care. At least Clean is an eau de parfum and lasts forever. You get your $$ worth. I got this in a set of 4 for $65, 1oz bottles. I think that's a better deal than the full size. Ultimate clean is not my favorite, but I still love it.

What is the big deal about this scent... If the clean scent is what you are going for (nothing wrong with that!) I would go for Pure Grace. This smells so musty.

This is my 3rd Clean fragrance and I'm really enjoying it. I have already received a compliment - "you smell so good" - instead of someone asking what perfume I'm wearing, it's not really perfumey at all, just fresh and clean smelling, like soap and water. At first try I thought this was pretty much a clone to Philosophy's Pure Grace- but it's not. Don't get me wrong - I love Pure Grace- with its beach coppertoney breezy goodness - but this is clean and gentle and fresh without having that coppertone smell. This is what Pure Grace claims to be, but Clean Ultimate actually achieves. I find Pure Grace to be almost a dead ringer for Bobbi Brown's beach, but this one isn't. It's more flower and doesn't have that twangy mandarin note or whatever it is that gives Coppertone/Beach/Pure Grace its distinctive smell. The lasting power on this is not as good as it is with their Lather scent (lasted more than a day on me) or their original, but this is a softer, closer to the skin type scent. I am still getting gentle whiffs from it at about 6 hours but it's not really detectable per se, which is nice if you just want to smell nice but not necessarily perfumey. My husband likes this and the other Clean scents but he doesn't know that they are perfume. Here are the notes: Italian Bergamot, Provencal Lemon, Lavender, Jasmine, White Rose, and Muguet, Neroli and Musk. I think that all of the Clean line perfumes are priced a little too high for what they are - nice, uncomplicated, clean and rather linear perfumes - but it's a good fragrance, nevertheless. Not complex, but simple, clean and good.
