My mother used to have one of these in a pinky colour (can't remember what it was called) and I bought one in the shade "Eden Berry". I like it, but it wouldn't be something I reached for when doing my makeup. I think that the texture is a bit too sticky for my liking, although some people may like it (like my mother for example). Despite the negative side, I would buy it again as it does come in some really cute colours and stays on for quite a long time.

The best part of this product is that it gives average results for a really affordable price.
The packaging is in tube :-|. Since I am not very fond of tubes and instead prefer small bottles with applicators, this one misses a point there.
It smells good and it is not sticky. Application is pretty smooth. I mostly apply it for moisturizing my dry lips in winter. Re-application is a must - its not a long lasting gloss.
All in all its a decent product for the price paid.
Though I may not stock it up for the next season.

I don't really know if this is the exact same product that i have, but it is of the same name. I saw my best friend using this religiously, and decided to give it a try, especially since it was on sale at my local drugstore. (about $4.50?) I ended up buying the same one as her, a baby pink, labelled 'cherry blossom'.
The gloss came out clear at first, proving that it wasn't mixed properly, but after shaking it and squeezing excess clear gloss, it came out BEAUTIFULLY.
I ended up buying three others, Raspberry Juice ( a bright red), which ended up albeit badly on me (i'm asian and really pale), but smelt AMAZING.
Honey Berry, a brown-pink shade which looked slightly tinted on my lips.
And finally, Grape Jello, a metallic purple in the tube, but when applied and evened out, you get a beautiful frosted lip kinda look.
This batch is discontinued in Singapore, and i haven't tried the new ones yet, since i've bought other glosses on a holiday in the States that was more value for money.
The wording wears off after a few months, therefore a three for packaging.

This is my mystery lipgloss, i bough it in 2004 and forgot about it b/c i was sucked into the lancome juicy tube hype. And after realizing that the jucy tubes did nohing else than drying out my lips, i went on to high end lipsticks. 6 months ago i found this in my makeup box, had a look at it and decided that the very deep red color were lovely,. But when i squesed the tube, what was in it came out totaly clear. And btw there was abslutely no smell to it. So i decided to give it my "shake it" routine (let it stay in my bag all day long), and after one day it was back to the true color. This is a very pigmented gloss, and its quite thick in a way whitch increases the stayingpower without a gluelike stickyness, opposed to the so called upper end lip glosses i used earlier.

It's so average it's amazing. I hate it when the oil comes out of the tube first, then followed by the real gloss. Mix it up properly will you, Maybelline! After a year or so they begin to smell REALLY funky. I love the Apple one, but it got stolen. I have a pink shimmery version that was only sold in China. (Friend got it for me) and the shimmer was actually okay. I liked this when it was still in its rounded cap days. Now it's just too.. gloopy. Somehow I got a colour called Flamenco Rose, which was never pushed out to the market. (So I shouldn't be commenting on it actually) but it looks orange in the tube, goes on perfectly clear. I guess that's why they never used that shade.

Funny story. I bought this about...3 years ago? I dont remember. I was just cleaning out my closet and found this lipgloss. I remember buying this. Actually, i think it came free with another maybelline product. but anyways... i used it once and though "ick it's waay too sticky" and never used it again.
3 years later, im shocked they're still selling this stuff (or maybe the reviews are just coming in a little late)
it's still sticky as ever, but the smell is sooo yummy. i love orange scents, and i have the orange lipgoss. it looks sparkly in the tube but not so much on me. on me though, it looks super shiny and pretty. i'll stick with it for a week to see how i like it. hopefully its long lasting since its so sticky! i hope my boyfriend doesnt mind hehe

Mm...ahahaha. I bought two of these on sale and would definitely buy another one. I like the taste, one of mine tastes like grape - not real grape, but the artificial grape taste of grape soda or sweets - and the other tastes like peppermint (Rose Apple). Yes they're gloopy but not sticky, and come in the loveliest sheer colours. One of them (Rose Apple) has bits of blue in it. I compare the fruity jelly favourably to lancome juicy tubes, which are sticky, especially since they were 6x less expensive. One thing I hate is that for the Rose Apple, the colour seems to separate, and I often have to squeeze out some clear gloss before I get to the colour. The colour itself is great though. It's almost iridescent.

Yeh, its okay, pretty average.

Some people have mentioned the smell. Well, it tastes quite nice, but it smells horrible. HORRIBLE, sort of like, pee.

It's very shiny and glittery - too glittery for me. When i put it on, i have to go to a mirror, to make sure i don't put on too much, coz its really unnaturally glittery.

I liek the applicator though - easy to apply, and a nice, natural boost of colour.

I love that it goes on with a touch of color so I don't have to apply lipstick before applying it. I bought mine in a shade of Cherry Truffle and it's good for both daytime and night outs. I love that it tastes 'fruity' (as what its name suggests) and it lasts long during the day. Its consistency is somewhat thick so it's a little sticky. It's drugstore-cheap so I'm definitely buying another one this week or the next. Hmm, maybe a peach-y color would do.. :)

I felt for the color. It's cranberry pudding. Beautiful deep red color. BUT the rest from price to quality totally disappoint me. It wasn't really cheap here and luckily i got it at a sale or else i would have hate myself for getting it. It was an impulse buy as i am looking for nice red lipgloss. It's true to what other MUA here have mention. If only i came here to see the review before getting it, i wouldn't have waste money. Alright, enough of rambling, this is what i find the gloss sucky:

Too thick of a gloss to spread well on my lips, really like thick superglue!

It magnify the line on my lip, not a pretty sight!

Not moisturising at all and too sticky!

The smell nearly got me puke! It smell like some rotten prune to me, although MUA here mention about smelling like cherry cough syrup too.

I will have to force myself to finish it and add another nice scent gloss over it to mask the smell. It's really that bad. Those who get the strawberry scent are really lucky, wish i was as lucky because if it's new formulation, i don't understand why Maybelline would want to come up with such crap & crash down on their sales profit. Now it's should be: Maybe she's born with it. But it's never Maybelline. The one lippies is for the color, great one but what's the point in looking at it beautifully without feeling and smelling great?! Lasting wise, still pretty ok as i didn't drink nor eat anything but i still hate it!

I like that this product does not have an underlying synthetic taste (which is a major turnoff for me). It's pretty neutral in that sense. Product-wise it's a fun and cheap alternative to expensive glosses - it glides on pretty smoothly for me and the color payoff is decent. Barely lasted 2 hours on me though. Might repurchase the other shades just for fun since they're so cheap :D

Great, fun product considering the price! My fave shade/flavor would be Wild Cherry. Lancome's Juicy Tubes or Juicy Gelee is just too darn expensive for me, a college student on a tight budget. So this works great or atleast it works good enough. It's always with me. Love how soft and moisturizing it is on the lips, and the slight tinge of color it gives...ofcourse it doesn't last...then again it is just a lipgloss right?

I wasn't planning to buy anymore lip gloss from Maybelline again, but I decided to use this since I received it as a gift. I was quite disappointed with Shinylicious before so I wasn't expecting much. However, this lip gloss really changed my mind. It has a good staying power but isn't sticky at the same time. I'm not quite sure about the price since it was gift. And I have no idea what the colour I have is either, I couldn't find it anywhere on the tube. But the colour looks super cute in the tube and it has silver shimmer with lots of sparkles! The smell is light and fruity, but I can't place my finger on which fruit it is. It has a slanted tip and I like how it doesn't have sponge tip like Shinylicious. I've never seen this lip gloss with this packaging here though; I think my aunt bought this in Hong Kong? Anyway, it makes my lips a light pink with loads of sparkles. Would repurchase if I see this again once I finish the tube, which will take a while since it's pretty big!

Colour isn't as dark in real life; I'd say it's a light magenta with more purple than pink, plus silver shimmer. The camera couldn't capture the sparkles!

I have this in Sugar Plum and it is the perfect understated shade of berry pink to warm up my fair-to-medium Asian skin tone when I want to emphasise my eyes. It's a decent gloss for the price, and the slanted tip of the tube is good for application. I don't expect much staying power from gloss - they rarely last more than 2h on me but that's to be expected. I will repurchase because the shade is so flattering. It has a vaguely minty smell and taste which I find pleasant.

Update 2010: I think it's discontinued, and have changed my rating to "will not repurchase" because I plan to try other glosses in more brown-toned pinks - I'm finding that these cool-toned pinks aren't the most flattering shade.

I don't like this stuff at all. they are like glue, you can't even put them on the lips so easily.
Plus the tube tends to let the product gets out in industrial quantity.
argh...

Sticky. Drying. Brings out lines on my lips. It goes almost clear on me, and clear glosses are out of my interest.

this 13ml tube of gloss sure lasts long. i have it for more than 1.5 yrs alr. i cant wait for it to finish so that i can try another lip gloss. =x ok i have a bunch of lip glosses to clear. i cant seem to stop buying them! haha. i got this is shade 3, berry pink. i like this cos it looks rather natural on me. but it can nv last thru a meal, which is normal of lip glosses. i'll just get some glitter left on my lips after i finished my meal. this is a little drying for my lips though.

I have this in the Apple something color. It gives a good gloss, but that's about it. It dries my lips, and smell and taste like chemicals. Nothing sweet, or nice smelling about it. Will never ever repurchase.
