I had my first experience with this product at the salon. It left my hair squeaky clean and floaty. With all the hair build-up products we use these days (e.g. hair shine, hair spray, thickening & strengthening hair products), this is the perfect companion product.
My stylist recommends it be used once per week and the salon I frequent prefers this clarifier.

This is great for colored treated hair. I recently got highlights and being as money conscious that i am I don't want to use anything harsh and will dull and strip the color. But this shampoo is designed to gently clarify for color treated hair. it is only $7.95 (which is not bad for salon brand at all!) and lasts a long time because I only use it twice a week. Leaves your hair soft and very clean feeling.

I was a little worried that this stripped my hair, but I trust that biogenol is gentle since it was formulated for colored hair. This clarifying shampoo does exactly what it should, so if you like that "squeaky clean" feeling, this is for you. Personally I'm not into that, since I find that a little harsh. But I'm happy to report that all my oily buildup is gone. Love the scent, too.
