I have been using this conditioner for about 3 years now (along with the shampoo). I really think it is an amazing product.


My hair type is normal and I do not color it, so I'm not sure on this product's ability to help color-treated hair. However, I do use different hot tools on my hair daily.


First of all the smell, it's amazing! I am a lover of all things vanilla, but mixed with the yummy plum just makes it 10 times better. I can still smell it in my hair at the end of a long day, the boyfriend likes it as well!


The product itself really does a good job of conditioning all my dry areas and it leaves my hair feeling very smooth and healthy without being too heavy. It's not too thick for me either.

I used this in conjunction with the matching shampoo. My experiece with this combination was not a good one. The first few times I used it my hair felt a bit weighed down, which doesnt happen often. My hair was not soft at all and felt tangled. I tried clarifying then trying again which helped a little, but a few days later same thing. I used this for a bout 2 weeks. I developed small red bumps around my hair line, pimples on my scalp and back, which i havent had in years. I also noticed broken hairs all over the top of my head. BREAKAGE! I was using this to prevent that!!! Not to mention it completely stripped my hair color, more than any other shampoo/conditioner. The only good things about this product was the smell, I will not repurchase as this has RUINED my hair. Terrile product.

I received this as part of a gift set, and as with the shampoo, I like the scent and the look of the bottle (though it's not practical for getting the last of the product out because the neck is so long and slim compared to the base). And, also like the shampoo, it's pretty average on my hair. No problems with rinsing or tangling, but it doesn't help keep my frizz down as much as my old conditioner, so I won't buy for myself when I run out. It's okay for now, but it's not remarkable.

To begin with, this conditioner was whatever when I first bought it with the matching poo. And just recently, it just flat out was pissing me off. It didn't detangle my hair (I have thick, wavy hair) and I just didn't like it. Like the poo, I love the smell though.

This product works quite will on my coarse, wavy, colored hair. The scent is fun now, but it is one of those smells that will turn sickening after a while -- quite sweet and Skittles like.

I really like this conditioner! It detangles my hair so nicely and makes it super soft, silky and shiny. Rinses away cleanly and smells nice-not nearly as cloying as the shampoo. This does contain silicones so if you prefer to avoid them you've been warned. Got a huge one litre bottle for 13 dollars at the salon- a much better deal than the smaller ones. Would repurchase

This smells amazing!!!!! thats the main reason I bought it. It also leaves this gorgeous soft scent on my hair & my boyfriend adores it, he constantly sniffs my hair lol. It also left my color treated hair really shiny & soft. I love this!

I think this conditioner is great! I love the fruity candy smell it has, but I love how it works for me even more. After using this conditioner, I let my hair air-dry as usual. But instead of my normal dullness and slight frizz, I now had silky, shiny, smooth hair! I didn't even need to style my hair at all- I just went straight out the door to work. Brilliant! For reference, I have baby-fine, straight, color-treated hair.

This is one of the worst conditioner I've ever used, didn't do anything for my hair. Don't waste your money on this.

Love this stuff!!! Been using it for a couple of years. The smell is WONDERFUL!!! I do not find it sickening at all. It definately lingers in your hair all day too, which I actually like. I've gotten so many compliments on the smell of my hair alone with this stuff! Besides that, it detangles wonderfully and does a great job at conditioning my hair. My blowdries come out great and my hair is SUPER soft and touchable. I have repurchased and will continue to.

I will definitely not repurchase this conditioner. I bought it for the wonderful scent. I smelled it in the store but didn't buy it, and then couldn't get my mind off it for the longest time so I went back and bought the shampoo and conditioner. The scent is fabulous and the shampoo is good, but this conditioner is weird! It feels awful when I work it into my hair...like an oil slick or something. It does detangle and rinses out well and doesn't really weigh my hair down or anything, but like I said, it just feels awful when you're working it in. I've almost finished the bottle and I can't wait 'til I'm done with it. Too bad, because the scent really is amazing!

This is a decent basic conditioner. I give it a 3 for quality, but add an extra lippie for the scent! I LOVE the scent and that's the primary reason i bought it.

The conditioner itself is thin and wouldn't work for someone with super-dry or damaged hair. And, sadly, the scent doesn't last. I just used up my 1 litre bottle, which i bought for about 14 bux canadian. i won't repurchase it, but i don't regret the purchase either.

I purchased Vanilla Plum Fortifying Conditioner in a large liter bottle for only $10 on sale. I would definitely repurchase it again at this price. Although it is not my favorite conditioner, it is a decent every day conditioner for my dry, curly hair. I do like the scent; I do not find it sickly sweet at all. In fact, the scent does not linger on my hair the way the Ginger Conditioner from Back to Basics does. If you can find this marked down, definitely give it a try.

I am sorry to say that this scent is so artificially sweet that it almost makes me nautious. I like my hair to smell good, but this makes me queazy when I rinse it out. Just too overpowering for me. I will stick with Auntie Rhubarb for nice scented hair products, that don't make me feel like I'm going to spew.

Umm no I don't think this works for me this smells like cough medicine! Gross, the before and after smell sickens me... I'm going back to my all time favourite Bedhead Self Absorbed Shampoo and Conditioner.

I'm not a huge fan of the scent - it's sweet, generic, and a bit artificial - but I don't think my hair has EVER looked this good. It's so soft I can't stop running my hands through it and so shiny that my highlights look like they're shimmering. It's also nice and fluffy - good volume - and I have really fine hair, so that's a feat.

Wow, yum! Thanks Lanae87 for sending me a generous sample of this! This is one of the best smelling conditioner out there! The scent lingered all day! This performs perfectly too! Surprisingly, this has tons of slip to it and it left my hair soft and shiny! B2B has the best bang for the buck too! There will be lots of future purchases on this for sure!

I bought the shampoo and conditioner for the smell and was not dissapointed. Yummy. I love taking my shower at night and having the relaxing smell of vanilla around me. I have somewhat fine hair that is also highlighted and it works really well.
