Having tried the shade 'Anne' (a pretty, cool-toned light pink), I decided to purchase 'Christine'. I never wear orangey shades and admitedly this does look like a scary glittery orange in the tube. But the colour is extremely flattering on, a gorgeous sheeny coral/peach, lightly shimmering rather than glittery. It wears off to leave a bit of surprisingly wearable gold shimmer on the lips. My everyday lip staple is Nars lip lacquer in 'Chelsea Girls', as it creates a lovely semi-matte nude look that's appropriate for work. But I'm enjoying adding a layer of NYC liquid lipstick over the top as soon as the work day finishes - 'Anne' to enhance the pink tones of 'Chelsea Girls' or 'Christine' to bring out the peachiness. I love the glossiness, colour pay off (more pigmented than many glosses I've tried, but lighter in weight than a lipstick), comparative lack of stickiness (lips feel wet rather than MAC lipglass gluey) and price. Hate the click-top plastic packaging, though, and the fact that the seemingly large tube holds only a very small amount of product.

Got this in a 3 for one pack for 4.49 at Shopper's Drug Mart. I love it. The texture is a little sticky at first but once it sets it is very comfortable and seems to last relatively well. Christine is a peachy shimmer. It was packaged in a set of nudes and it really does wear as quite a neutral peach and isn't at all too warm for my cool toned NW20 complexion. The shimmer is also nice and fine and understated and not at all tacky. I love the brush applicator but I'm not really a fan of getting the tube started since it takes a lot of "clicks" to get it going and then you realize there is less in there than you thought but for 1.50 who can complain. I'll be buying more of these in more colours.

Of all the NYC Liquid Lipsticks, this is the one color that caught my eye. It's a gorgeous, shimmering pinky coral, packaged similarly to Stila's Lipglazes, but at a fraction of the cost. These actually last longer on me than Stila, sticking even through burger lunches and such. I'm not sure why these are called liquid "lipstick," as they're most definitely glosses. Inexpensive and easily attainable, if I find another shade I like, I'd definitely purchase more.

I'm excited to try the other colors in the NYC Liquid Lipstick line. I love Christine, a glossy, somewhat shimmery coral/pink shade. It feels really smooth and moisturizing when going on--not sticky. Of course, it doesn't last as long as most sticky glosses would, but this one punches my lips up to a nice shiny corally shade without being too orangey. The shimmer is there, but no big chunks of glitter. I don't mind the click pen system, I find that its a good delivery system for gloss. A definite re-buy.

This is a fabulous drugstore find. I've been really amazed lately with the high quality of some of the New York Color products, as I always thought they looked like some of the junkiest stuff in the cosmetics aisle. Well, I was wrong! This is a beautiful deep coral/pink gloss with just enough gold shimmer to make it reflect a little bit. The shimmer is so small that, once it's on your lips, it's hard to even see the individual particles. The click pen thing is a little bit annoying but I can live with it. The gloss has average staying power and no taste or scent. Beautiful!

After reading the reviews I decided I might as well pick some of this stuff up because it's so cheap who cares if I don't like it? Well I love it! It's a beautiful color and makes my lips look perfectly shaped somehow. Totally worth buying!

I'm so impressed by this product! This 'lipstick' is in the same click mechanism as Stila lipglazes - I would call this more of a highly pigmented l/g rather than l/s. The texture of this l/g is fantastic, not gooey or sticky, and it doesn't make my lips peel. The product is unscented and tasteless - no plastic or chemically scent either, and the staying power is very good (stayed on for 4 hrs +). Christine is lovely vibrant shimmery coral pink colour that is very flattering on my NC30 skintone. I bought this for $6 CAD and I would definitely buy it again! Give this a try!

Shimmery golden pinky peach, summer shade.
The formula is thick but not sticky. There is a bit of an industrial smell/taste, but its not too overwhelming. Many times the scent is a deal breaker for me, and I can handle this.

I usually wear pink shades of gloss but i wanted to try something different. I bought this because I liked it in a members FOTD and it is really pretty. It comes in a click pen like the Stila ones. It is a very pigmented coral/gold color that I like to wear with brown shades on my eyes. I paid $3.99. There is not that much product in there but for the price it is ok. I think it will look especially pretty in the summer. I am going to be checking out more colors. The gloss is as good as any expensive brand. I like that it is very pigmented unlike some glosses where you love the color in the tube, but on your lips it looks sheer. On this one, the color in the tube is the color on your lips.

I'm halfway done with the lipstick and I love it. Though it doesn't last through eating or drinking, it sure looks great while it's on. It's a very pretty coral + red gloss with gold specks. Very nice for it's price and I think it would look good on everyone. From my tanned, asian skin to my mom's ivory skin to my friend's pale porceline skintone, it looks great on all of us. Definately, a good bargain for just a few bucks.

Love the product, hate the packaging. These click-pen things are the bane of my existence. I like the little brush at the end, and the compact shape, but that's about it. I always end up clicking up too much product so that I not only waste it, but everything gets really messy. Having said that, this is super-pretty. Like others have said below, it's a bright pinkish coral with gold shimmers. Really fresh and pretty with a peachy-pink blush (it's beautiful with Milani's Luminous) and neutral eye makeup. The key is to use only the tiniest bit (which is why this click-pen thing is especially annoying in this case) and apply it as evenly and sheerly as possible. Does *not* last through eating or drinking, but it's a glossy lippie and not particularly sticky, so I don't expect it to. I especially love that this has not scent or taste. At onlly 4USD, it's definitely worth a try.

Omigosh! This is now my favorite lip color. In the tube, it looks like a reddish-coral with tiny golden specks. On the lips, it's soooo pretty! Just a tiny little bit goes a long way (and really, you only need a little because it's very pigmented!) It goes on as a kind of red-peachy color. I agree with everyone who said it's a YLBB (Your Lips But Better) kind of lip stuff. It really goes on naturally and I can see this glossy lipstick looking good on probably everyone! Plus, it's a FANTASTIC drugstore find...very cheap but very good quality...which may be a HG item for some (like moi). Go out and get this...you won't be sorry!!

Other reviewers have described the color of this gloss accurately: a peach lip gloss with gold shimmer. I just don't like the color, I think it's too light. If I was going to wear this, it would only be during the spring or summer. Not going to repurchase.

oooo, this color is gorgeous!! Christine comes out a corally-pink with gold shimmer on my lips. Not too glossy or sticky either. Perfect! Great for a spring/summer look, and the click-pen tube is handy as well. Staying power is good, and no scent/taste (which is a good thing for me!) Best of all, this was only 4 bucks!

This is a gorgeous color. It looks like a coral tropical punch color with loads of shimmer. Provides a very wet but pigmented pout. Very close in color to stila fruit cocktail but prettier and brighter IMO. Also has a lot more pigment than stila glosses (this one is a lipstick but is more like a thicker more pigmented gloss). It has similiar coverage and consitency to Chanel glossimers. ALso no icky scent/flavor! The only negative is a slight tingly senstaion which goes away after 10 minutes. only 4 bucks at my CVS. :)

I bought this product today, OMG I love it! It's so pretty. It has like a hint of gold look to it, more orange though. I love the little brush applicator thing! It's really soft and totally cute. I can't wait to try this in other colors. If you haven't tried this, I totally suggest that you try it! It was only like $3.57 at Walmart..

It is only once in a blue moon that I purchase cosmetics without consulting MUA, but I found myself face to face with NYC cosmetics and had heard good things about them, so I took a stab in the dark buying this lipstick. Turns out I did quite well. This is a very pretty color with a nice subtle shimmer, and I love that there is no taste or scent. Can't beat the price.

I finally found a coral shade that looks good on me! When I first saw this in the store, I was initially skeptical that it would good on me because it seemed awfully bright. But for five bucks, I thought it was worth a shot. When I put it on I was amazed, provided that you don't overload the tip with product it applies very sheerly and naturally, truly a YLBB coral. This shade looks great with peach, brown, and green eye m/u looks. Plus the zero taste/scent factor is a huge bonus. Fellow MUAers this is a fabulous d/s find and is a beautiful shade for spring and summer, I suggest that you run out and try it now! :)

Gorgeous, sparkling coral pink, leaning towards the orange side. Great colour for summer. Decent staying power, no scent, no taste. Whoot! Pretty cheap, too.

These come in click pens, just like Bonne Bell lip d'Votions and Stila lip glazes. However, they are labeled "liquid lipstick" and hence they are more opaque than those products. They are not as opaque and goopy as Revlon Lip Glides or Sephora Lip Laquers, which is a very good thing. They go on almost as something in between a lipstick and a gloss. Because they aren't totally sheer, they are every so slightly more likely to slip outside your lipline when you're applying them - no mirror-free application as with many sheer glosses. This color is a nice reddish-orange with gorgeous gold shimmer and it makes my lips look very full. It has absolutely no taste or smell. Again, a good thing since I'm tired of glosses with overpowering fruity scents. NOTE: this is now my very favorite gloss. Run to the drugstore to get it - you won't be sorry!
