I am so in love with this product. I had come across the reviews on MUA a few times and decided that I should order it, and if I hated it I would give it to my sister haha. I have fine, easily greasy/weighed down hair. It's not straight, nor curly, but more of a wavy-in-a-bad-way. I've been blow drying and straightening my hair for years, but now that I'm growing it out I wanted to find a product that I could use without heat that would give me a style. This is it. Once my hair dries, I use a little less than one pump (the pump gets stuck sometimes which is annoying), spread it between my hands, clap once, and then scrunch it into the length of my hair, staying away from the roots. Then I'll put my hair up in a loose bun with a scrunchie, changing the placement and direction of the bun every thirty minutes or so until it's dry. I'm left with gorgeous, beachy waves that aren't crunchy but are soft and make my hair look full and long and healthy. I've tried to apply it when my hair is wet but don't get the same results as when it's damp/dry. This product is a bit pricier than my normal styling budget, but you don't need to use a lot and it still looks good the next day (once I add a little dry shampoo) so it will last me for a whole. I highly recommend this product and will absolutely repurchase; I can't wait to have these glorious waves in the summer!

This is amazing. I did not expect this product working like that. My BF who never notices a thing on how I look would say as soon as I came home: "Wow, you styled your hair very nicely". The first time I used this product I made a big mistake of forgetting that the amount should really be a pea size and put 2 pumps on my hair. So I ended up putting my dirty locks in a clip. Next day was a triumph. It gives you that natural volume and polished look with no greasiness and dull long pieces along my face. That truly is a keeper. Hopefully whatever they invented to replace this product will be at least of the same quality.

omg...where do i start? For reference, I have fine, thin, bra-strap length, straight hair. This is seriously probably the worst product I've ever tried in my hair. Last night, I used a TINY amount as suggested, worked it into my damp hair, did a blow-dry. My hair looked flat, as usual, but actually even a little flatter/more weighed-down than normal.

So, I figured that I didn't use enough product. This morning, I re-wetted my hair and used a nickel-sized amount of product. QUE HORROR. Seriously. Never has my hair been so flat, dull, or greasy-looking. It looked like i put olive oil in my hair, then some baby powder on top to make it dull. HORRIBLE. I am returning this. I can't even say I like the packaging, because I imagine that if I were to continue to use this, it would be hard to tell how much product I had left.

Texture Twist is the absolute best! My curls behave & no more wild crazy gray sticking up. I do have to use a bit, but its well worth the price when you have hair like mine. I use it after my hair has dried otherwise its too watered down & I end up using too much product.
Being part African American (most people can't tell as I'm also white Irish) my hair is wiry, coarse & curly hair. Even on my short cropped do I used to use tons of product for control & was still never happy (not to mention some products just made my scalp hurt). Texture Twist has made all the difference in the world.
My gray is very white (that's even coarser than my non-gray hair) so I have a weave to lighten the dark & my gray is highlights (& there's a lot lol). The best part is my hair is soft & no more problem with being weighed down with products. My stylist & I must've tried every product we came across & now I can finally toss all the others out!
LOVE Pureology Texture Twist!!

I tried this product in dry hair but it doesn't work for my chin-length bob. So clearly it's a wet-hair type of product (as per the usage instructions). This styling paste goes from feeling incredibly thick, sticky, gooey, & heavy, to feeling light, silky, glassy-smooth, & so sooooft....that's how it makes my hair feel after blowdrying. But I must apply it to wet hair AND blowdry it, which I don't like to do anymore & have avoided using a blowdrier for the past year. For the most part I prefer to air-dry my hair, so I'll have to reserve this awesome paste for the special occasions when I bother to blowdry... this limitation is pretty much its only downfall. Gives blowdried hair wonderful VOLUME, lightness, shine, softness, touchability - nothing sticky, crunchy, heavy or stiff whatsoever. Just a small pea-size dab is enough (my hair can probably stand to use less than that, I'll have to experiment more). But for texture in my usual air-dried hair I'll have to stick w/my regular products which unfortunately dry stiff (gel) or stay greasy (texture creams).

After reading so many good reviews, I SO wanted to like this. Sadly, it did not work for my hair. I have very fine, short hair. This stuff was extremely thick and sticky. It weighed my hair down and made it look greasy. And it has parabens in it. Not good. Will not be purchasing again.

HG!! Finally a product that really does what it says it will do. I am completely inept at hairstyling my short, choppy with a few curls, hair. This makes me look like I know what I'm doing.

Best hair product I've ever used, for curly or straight styles. Use it to make straight hair piece-y, almost works as a gel to provide hold/definition to curls, and OH, the volume...there's nothing Texture Twist can't do. (Did I mention it smells delicious??) My stylist taught me to use it by pumping a small amount, rubbing it between my palms and then clapping my hands together first to decrease the "fibers"...if you do this you'll notice that little strings fly everywhere. I don't know why, but doing it that way works better for me than just using it straight out of the bottle. Anyway. BUY THIS STUFF it's the bomb!! Worth every penny.

I love this stuff! I was going to purchase Pureology's power dressing but decided on this after reading the positive reviews-thanks MUA! I used this after blow drying with Pureology's blow dry amplifier which gives TONS of volume! You only use a TINY amount, rub it between your palms to warm it up and with your fingers lightly run it through your hair. Great for flyaways and that piecey look. I have thin hair and this does not weigh my hair down.

This is the BEST hair product I have ever used and I have used ALOT- to get some volume into my fine straight hair. I have used: kerastase, Tigi, Aussie, Redken, Rusk, Nioxin, Lee Stafford, Big sexy hair, Matrix, Toni and Guy, L'oreal, Aveda, Osis, etc etc and this product gives me volume like you wouldnt believe!! I apply only a half a pea size to my roots (any more and fine haired girls will find it gets greasy) and put the top part up in claw clips and leave to air dry. Oh my- my hair is so big, so volumous and lush with fantastic hold. I agree with the review below- you really can mould your hair any way you want with this stuff without it being crunchy or sticky. Its a bloody miracle!!
The other day I actually looked at myself in the mirror and thought hmmmmm I wonder if my hair is a little *too* big today- YAY- that never happens to me! Normally, I am fighting to get my flat, limp hair to show me some life and body. I am so happy I found this product- it has become my HG hair product and I will use this forever. The only issue I have is that its a little pricey and hard to get hold of in the UK. However, I will never stop making the effort to get hold of this. It is superb.

This may just be the BEST hair product that I've ever used!
It is not kidding when it says that you can mold your hair anyway you want it. I never thought I'd see the day that my frizzy hair would behave!!!

I don't know how the effect is on straight hair, but on my hair this product is a dream come true! A little goes a long way, so although the product is expensive...it will last you a loooong time!

I use a pea size of this product that spread it all over my wet hair before my blow out. The result is amazing every single time! My hair is smooth, full body, bouncy.

When my hair is still damp, I can twist my bangs and it would become this piecey, texturized, S wave shape that is completely effortless.

My blow out lasts so much longer with this product! it never gets frizzy/ poofy after sweating, or taking a shower, instead it becomes this tousled, texturized hair like in magazines. I love it!!! Good hair day every single time I use this cream.

I have coarse, frizzy hair that I blow dry and straighten. I have used Paul Mitchell Skinny Serum for years, but a few months ago started adding a tiny dab of texturetwist to the serum, and my hair is the best it's ever been. I never get poufy frizz now, even when it's raining. If you have coarse, frizzy hair, give it try.

i really dislike putting products on my hair but i need them to give me volume. only texturizer ive found not to give me that icky-sticky dirty feel. pleasant scent that goes away, and lotsa VAVOOM!! i have shoulder length fine hair that could use some volume in the crown. i apply this to styled hair. a pea-sized amount, spread all over my palms until its nice and "melted", and i apply it under my hair, close to the scalp where i need volume.

i have oily scalp so this doesnt last till the next day, but the day i do apply it, it works exactly how i expect texturizers to work. and if you dont have time to wash your hair the following day, your hair just returns to how it would be if you didnt apply the texturizer but the great thing is, it doesnt have that dirty next-day-hair feel.

This is my favorite hair product. I rarely use hair products and when I do its this item. It will sculpt my hair to whatever I want it to. Ive had this product for almost 2 years, same bottle too. Yea it lasted that long, you only need so much or should I say so little. Theres really nothing else to say about this product than it does what you want it to... Its not sticky its not greasy its just right. I love it!

So i don't know if that's fair but i will review this seeing on my friend who swears by this ! I have known her for some months now and she always has this short, stylish and big hair , which looks like she has LOTS of hair , i just couldn't believe in my eyes when we went swimming together the other day and saw how little hair she has, actually . So she told me it's all thanks to this product, and that she won't use anything but Pureology , and gets lots of compliments with this product .. wow .. I have never tried anything from this brand, but also after seeing reviews for some products here , i say it's about time .. :)

I am generally not a fan of hair styling products that are anything like a wax. But I love this product. I put a small dab in my hair after I blow dry it straight. You only need a small bit. It's not messy, or overly like greasy and sticky like other waxes. It smells awesome too!

I bought this product after reading great reviews here. I Love this stuff! I have alot of texture/spray wax products in my drawer anymore and this by far is my fave. The only bummer is the price but it works great!

I have Pantene texture hairspray, mousse wax and texture wax and I have Enjoy texturizer and none of them work as well. They are all wetter/sprays.

Pureology is a thick white paste but workable. I put a quarter size amount in my hand and rub together and lighter work thru the top of my hair then the bottom, then kind of all over, in kind of a grabbing manner. It is not as stiff as the products above and surprising even though it is heavier in texture it doesn't weigh my hair down.

It is more workable then the others I have tried since my hair doesn't feel *crunchy* and I can poof up my hair during the day and have it stay shapely all day. I can even run my fingers thru it without getting *stuck*. I don't notice any fragrance like the others which can have a sweet smell.

I am considering trashing ALL my other texturizers, even though I hate to throw money away. This is most definitely a re-purchase and then some!
