I bought this on clearance (at a dirt cheap price compared to Amazon) at my local Target, and with having super thick red hair, this stuff works wonders! I'm really depressed, though, that it was discontinued, but thankful that at least I can find it online, just not for what I paid for. A wee bit (pea to penny sized) in my hand, a few good swipes through my hair and I'm done. Great for after straightening, in which I also use Fekkai's Straight Away balm to blow dry.

Holy hell! I loooove this stuff. I bought it on clearance at target and used it sorta unconventionally.. I have curly hair that's fine = stiff nest or frizz puff... This product saves my curls. I get out of the shower and while super wet I comb and use a penny size amount of old school biosilk and then use a pea sized amount of this cream... A little big sexy hair spray mousse and let it dry. I have the most beautiful beachy flowing curls!

Love this product and would be gutted if it is ever discontinued. I use a little prior to blow drying and straightening. It completely controls my flyaways and does not weigh down my hair at all. Can't recommend highly enough to anyone with fine hair. I have even had compliments on my hair since I started using this, which given my hair usually misbehaves pretty badly says alot. Bouncy, shiny, yummy smelling hair YAY

I honestly can't say I notice a difference using this product - I think I just use it because it makes me feel like I've done something to my hair.

The texture and smell are nice enough but I'm sure I could achieve the same (if not better) results with another (cheaper) product. Thank goodness I received this as a gift and didn't pay for it.

I just tried this product for the first time, and I am in love with the smell. Reminds me of something from my childhood but cannot put my finger on it. I am reviewing this product not for its function as a hair cream, but for its smell, which is heavenly. I agree with another reviewer who said it would be nice if they sold this as a perfume. (Does anyone know of a perfume that smells like this?)

This is a solid, multitasking hair cream. It's more effective on dry hair as a defrizzer and on wet hair as a hardcore detangler or leave in conditioner. I've started using it more on wet hair, then a dab once my style is completed. It hasn't left me greasy so far and has a nice but not overpowering smell. Fekkai products have always gotten along well with my hair so it shouldn't surprise anyone that I gave this a high rating. I can use it either on my hair when it's been styled and straightened or as a pick me up/defrizzer when I wear it natural, so that's definitely a perk. Also, the bottle is pretty big so it lasts quite awhile.

I have tried every type of hair cream on the market..or close to it. I received FF samples twice from sephora, and one of them was the glossing cream. And I was so in love with the scent I did not want to stop using it but I had to because it made my hair lifeless...it was too heavy so I gave it to my daughter's to try.

I just happened to be at Target the other day and I saw this in the aisle, the Smoothing Cream which I had not seen before and I am in love with this product! I have medium length hair, fine texture, but thick...it is blonde highlighted, and it is dry even though I use good products. I air-dry my hair everyday so I needed a good finishing product. I use Rusk Undressed in my hair after I towel dry, let my hair air-dry and then finish it with FF smoothing cream and it works very very well. And the smell is luscious...i just love love the smell of FF products!

I gave it a 4 only because it is expensive...and I need a lot...but I will keep buying it!!!

I've been putting this in my hair after I wash it while it is slightly damp, it has done nothing for my frizz at all, I can't even tell a different between using it and not using it. Waste of money.

I have to say that I am impressed by this product! I usually use B&B Straight for my fine yet poofy, wavy, frizz prone, color-treated hair. But this really delivered! It straightened my hair nicely, smoothed the frizzies, and left it soft and light. Usually products that claim to smooth hair leave a weird film, a heavy/dirty feeling. Not this one, granted you only use a pea size amount. A little goes a long way! Now, this is my first week using it, so I will update. So far, I approve!

I use this product on dry hair after I use my flat iron. The creme is lightweight, smoothes my hair and adds what can only be described as a luster. I can also notice a difference on the ends of my straightened hair, they are softer/silkier. I really dislike the smell but I am willing to over look that because the product performs well. The smell is not unbearable, it will eventually fade.

I use this on wet hair to mostly dry hair and always end up with very smooth, soft hair. It is lightweight and doesn't weigh my hair down or make it look limp at all. Also it smells really nice.

Sadly, I haven't seen this at Sephora recently...so I'll continue to use sparingly to get the most use out of what I have left.

Nice product! I like it much better then the glossing cream and smells better to. It helps to make my hair feel more smooth and shine. Also lightweight. Great product!

This is definitely a HG for my very thick wavy coarse hair. I am so bummed that it is getting hard to find both in stores where i live and online, i am afraid it is going to be discontinued. I like it far more than the glossing creme which is heavier, shinier, stickier,

The Smooth Hair goes on much lighter and i cannot even really feel it in my hair but i can definitely tell the difference if i dont use it. i dont find it expensive since it lasts forever and i have ALOT of hair that tends to soak up products.
I have found some products close to the Smooth Hair but nothing that works as well for me and i try just about everything for hair care, both high end and drugstore.

Better than the glossing cream for my fine hair (although i love the glossing cream too), because it doesn't weigh it down or make it at all greasy. Rubbing a pea sized amount into my dry ends before blow-drying makes them look almost perfectly soft and healthy. I also use it to smooth flyaways on dry hair - it doesn't give as much shine as the glossing cream but I don't mind this. It may seem expensive but lasts forever as you only need a little. Beware though - if you buy this and don't think it does anything for your hair, try using a little more than you think you should and the results may start happening - that's what I found anyway!

I use this when I plan on straightening my hair....it makes it more supple and smooths out split ends. Overall it's a dece product...I'll use up the tube (which will take FOREVER since I rarely straighten my hair anymore) but I won't repurchase..at least thaaat will make my wallet happy!

This product is generally not a bad product. It does hydrates and smooth out my hair. Nevertheless, I'm not getting some surprisingly great results that I cannot get from similar product with a much lower price. I prefer the glossing cream to this one. Not sure I'll buy it again.

I honestly believe this is a much better product than the glossing cream. For my hair, it basically does the same thing as the glossing cream, without weighing it down or making it too greasy. It also does not make my hair clump when I use it like the glossing cream does. The things that I love about the Smooth Hair product: it gets rid of 90% of my frizz, which is A LOT. It makes my hair glowy-and somewhat glossy but not overly shiny (again, the glossing cream sometimes makes my hair too oily-looking). I also like the consistency better with this - it's a lot less thick and definitely more of a balm than anything else. I rarely go a day without using this now. Fantastic product.

A little goes a long way with this product, but even a small amount made my hair (which is fine, but also wavy and very thick) feel kind of greasy and I hate the smell. Would not spend the money on this again.

It is a decent styling product, which does deliver the promised hair smoothing. However, I shall not be buying it again because it is too heavy for my fine hair.

If you have fine hair that's dried out on the ends, try this finishing product rather than his glossing cream. I know the glossing cream is really fabulous, but unless you have thick hair it will weigh your hair down like nobody's business.

A little goes a long way so this tube lasts me forever. I've been using this for years and try every new product that comes out, and IMO is better than anything out there.

Wonderful, wonderful product.
