Yeah I agree with a lot of the reviews, the shampoo works great, your hair is full and thick, once you put this stuff on, your hair gets flat, really smooth and yes shiny, but the oomph and volume is lost. Really strange, why make a product to do the exact opposite of what its supposed to do? Whatever, I will plan on trying other products from Nick but yeah, this stuff isn't good at all.

Meh. This product didn't do anything for my hair. No frizz control, no texture difference. I love many other Nick Chavez products, but I can live without this conditioner.

I'm on my 2nd bottle of this product and I LOVE it--This is finally the product I've been looking for and I've found it. I have long wavy brown hair with long layers in it. I love to air-dry my hair but without product my hair is a poofy mess. With this creme, I add a dime size dallop to gently towel-dried hair, comb through, twist into a loose chignon and let dry; later I let my hair down and it is shiny, soft, healthy and tangle free. I have fine long hair and L/I cond. does not weigh it down. Usage has made my hair very soft and healthy. I buy the travel size bottles at Ulta so I can take them with me.

I adore this. Gives my medium thick hair a little extra volume and gives bounce to my curls. It doesn't have a obnoxious scent and isn't greasy. I only need a little bit too. It hydrates without weighing my hair down. You can buy a small bottle of this at Ulta to try it out without breaking the bank. Will repurchase.

This stuff works. I have thinning hair, the temporal sides are almost see-through, but after using this stuff, I actually have body and volume. My hair feels and looks fuller and it holds a style a lot better. The only downside is, that the next day my roots are quite oily, so I have to use a dry shampoo in order to skip another wash.
Use only a little, dime size is completely enough, otherwise your hair might look a little grimy.
If you use it for the night, you will wake up to bouncy hair, no doubt.
All in all a really good product, keeps its promise.

One word: AWESOME! I have thick curly hair that is quite delicate. Most products leave it heavy and flatten it out....but not this leave in conditioner. My hair is thicker, fuller, shinier, softer to the touch, and bouncier than it has been for 20 years. I have "happy" curls again!

I got this as part of a TSV set on QVC . The set comes with the matching plumping shampoo, a setting spray, hairspray and gloss spray.

This is a leave-in conditioner. Normally, I do not like leave-in conditioners. I feel they tend to weigh the hair down. But this one works well. You use a DIME-SIZE (no more) for longish hair (mine is shoulder-length or a bit more.) I start at the ends and scrunch it in. Immediately you see some waving and volume. It combs out well.

After blowdrying, my hair is smooth, not so fly-away but not heavily weighted or greasy. I did notice however that the glossing spray did not work as well on the hair after the conditioner AND the hairspray.

Of leave-in conditioners I've tried, this one is the best so far.

I've been using this product for a month and I love it. I condition the ends of my hair with my normal Nioxin conditioner in the shower and I apply a dime-sized amount of this product at the root when I'm done. It helps control fly-aways (although it hasn't eliminated them completely). What I like most is that it gives my fine hair body and fullness. I also love the light strawberry scent. I plan to repurchase, but I expect the bottle to last a long time, since I only use a small amount each day.

If you're shopping in the Twin Cities, I saw this at the QVC store at the Mall of America for about $6 less than I paid at Ulta.

Edit: I've noticed that when I use this product on wet hair without blow drying afterward, it makes my normally straight hair a little bit wavy. I love it!

Good stuff! I have long, straight, fine hair that is completely flat unless I blow dry my hair upside down. I use a dime sized amount of this after I towel dry my hair. It's best if you start at the roots and rough it up a bit, then run the excess through the rest of your hair. My hair looks GREAT after I blow dry it! It looks a lot smoother and feels thicker. It does help with volumizing, but not as much as say Catwalk's Root Boost. But if you want thicker hair and no fly-aways, then you need to try this.

Use this sparingly on fine, thin hair. It does work if you put a dab on your hands, rub fingers together and rub fingers in roots of hair all over. It will plump body, then spray it in place. It does thicken but you can't use much or it leaves hair greasy looking and dirty. It gives texture and can also soften. I open the bottle and put my finger in the top to get just a bit out at a time. No globs on one part of your head with too much that way. It's good on occasion, but you have to use a little bit, and I don't use it all the time. Depends on the hair day! Good for your hair though.

I don't notice any difference when I use this. Makes my hair limp - won't hold a curl - but it's very soft. I like Nick's shampoos, but his styling products are not what they're advertised to be.

LOVE this product. My favorite hair product. Gives my limp hair lots of body and added fullness. I use it before I blowdry and just before going to bed and wake-up to full hair. Not greasy. Will by again. Work it well into your roots -rough it up to get best results.

I LOVE this stuff!
I got this via QVC when it was in a special collection for volumizing/thickening, as the Special Value of the Day.
I had high hopes for it when I ordered it, and it didn't let me down.
My hair is fine and thinning and I cannot put conditioner in it as it makes it limp and almost feels like nothing is there.
I use this product on my damp or mostly dried hair while blow drying, and, yes, it does put a "coat" on the hair...but that coat gives my hair a feeling of substance.
And there's tons of body, too.
An added benefit is that when I wash my hair, washing out this product, it isn't overly condtioned or limp and lifeless. It washes out clean and ready for a new styling.
Yes, love it and have stocked up with four more bottles. I shudder to think this will be discontinued.
Oh! And a little bit goes a looooooooong way!

This is a nice product if you wash your hair the night before and put this on before bedtime. It will feel a little icky in your hair until it has had a chance to dry. You wake up to thick-er, fluffier hair and it holds a hot-roller set beautifully. It didn't work as well for me if I wash my hair in the am, use this product and then try to use hot rollers. Sleeping in it makes the difference for me although I really don't know why. You only need a dime size for medium length hair. Any more and you get greasy, flat hair.

I got this in a Showstopper kit from TSC...I've used the Leave-In Thickening Cream quite a few times and each time it made my hair either unmanageable or feeling like there was a bad coating to my hair so I gave up...didn't notice any type of plumping up or thickening...I wouldn't buy it again...

When they suggest a dime size amount of this, they are serious! In fact, I don't even use that much, or my hair gets too soft. I use steam rollers on my fine hair, and then put some of this in my palms and scrunch the roots, and it really leaves my hair with lots of volume, bounce and shine. Use too much and you will weigh down your hair if you have fine hair like me.

I purchased this last summer out of sheer desperation. My hair is fine and dry to the point of being frizzy when styled or blow dryed. I tried so many products before this one. This works so great on me that even my hair stylist noticed and wanted to no what I was using. I apply a dime sized amount to hair and then blow dry or air dry and style. As this makes my dry hair look like normal hair I consider it to be an HG hair product. 8 oz bottle sells for $15.00 and lasts 6 months on my medium length hair. Purchased from QVC channel.
