Okay, I have bleached my hair over... And over... And over. Needless to say, my hair is dead, damaged, and dry. I came across dumb blonde, and... Wow. What a difference. Now what really makes me mad is people complain that it's not enough moisture in the prouduct. Okay, THIS IS A RECINSTRUCTOR. Full of proteins!!! It's NOT made to moisturize your hair! Try Biolage ultra conditioning balm if you want moisture. But if you bleach your hair, or dye it often, and use lots and lots of heat tools, YOU WILL benefit from this. Although, everyone's hair type is different. The smell is amazing. It's pineapple, with mango and papaya, and it smells so good! It may be a bit strong for some people. The small bottle is about 18. That's way to expensive. I get mine in the liters, from drugstore.com. Do not use this everyday, you will have way to much protein and it will make your hair brittle and break off. I use this twice a week, I shampoo, then I put a very generous amount in my hair, and put a plastic bag over my head, then I put my hair dryer on it for like 8 mins, to open up the cuticle. I leave it in for about 40 mins. After, I rinse, then I apply my biolage conditioning balm to my hair, for moisture. I do the same process, and my hair is absolutely beautiful after. They both smell great. You need to know if your hair needs moisture or protein, before you might certain hair products. I hope this review helped! :)

I got this at Costco with the Dumb Blonde Shampoo, I liked the price and I thought Tigi was a good brand. Now I don't mind the shampoo, it cleans my hair and smells great. I have the type of hair that can take heavy product and not look weighed down or dull, however, this conditioner is TOO much! It leaves way too much residue and my hair feels like it is full of goop after, even though I rinse like crazy. I had to use clarifying shampoo twice to make it feel normal again.
The delish pineapple smell is not worth its poor performance.

I decided to go to the salon and dye my hair blonde again and I wanted to make sure I had a good shampoo and conditioner to keep my hair moisturized and easy to maintain since dying your hair blonde can be harsh. Before I bought the Bed Head Dumb Blonde (white bottles) shampoo and conditioner, I was a little nervous on whether or not I should get them because of some of the negative reviews I read but I just wanted to give them a try since my hairstylist suggested it. I did notice that these products do smell a tad like cat pee like some have said HOWEVER, it only smells like that when I blow dry my hair when the hot heat from the dryer hits my hair. Afterwards my hair smells really good. I know that sounds weird to say but it honestly does smell good afterwards like a citrus/flower kind of scent AND the smell lasts allllll day and that's even after I straighten my hair everyday! Normally shampoos and conditioners don't leave a lasting scent in my hair unless I go to town on my scalp for a good 10 minutes but this stuff does. I've been using this stuff for 2 weeks so far and it hasn't let me down yet! It keeps my blonde color vibrant and gives my hair a silky smooth finish. It goes on smoothly in the shower too. I have not tried the Bed Head Dumb Blonde (purple bottles) to know how the two different bottles compare but I am satisfied with this product and as long as I am blonde I will continue to use this product. Give it a try, it is not as terrible as everyone makes it to be but then again everyone's hair is different. My hair is fine/normal, I straighten it everyday, and have dyed my hair plenty of times to know what damaged hair is all about. So if you're anything like me, give this stuff a try. The least that will happen is you are out $50 bucks.

I love the TiGi Bed Head products, and have tried a few different shampoos and conditioners and LOVED them. I hadn't tried the Dumb Blonde one, but figured I'd give it a go because I thought it would be just as good as the other ones (I especially like the Urban Antidotes ones). The shampoo & conditioner are awful. After washing my hair it doesn't feel silky or smooth, which you would expect, but instead it feels oily and unclean. I think it would feel nicer if I didn't wash it at all!! So that is $50 wasted, and I've had to go out and buy new shampoo & conditioner, because there is no way I can keep using this stuff.

HG treatment/conditioner. Love the smell, texture and it's the only non-DIY treatment that gives me real results. Very nourishing and truly hydrating without leaving a ton of grease or residue on the hair. I've been using this for a while and have loved it the since the first use. I used to use this everyday when I had long hair and now that it's short I still use it but as a once a week (or so) treatment. Love! This never fails me.

I’ve been using this on again off again for years because I kill my hair with bleaching and hair color changes. It made it soft, shiny, and manageable again in a very short while of using. It also doesn't strip colors like almost every other shampoo I've used. I'm not too crazy about this compared to the shampoo. They do both smell great, but something about the conditioner lacks. It seems very lightweight for something that's supposed to be for fried hair. My only complaint with the big bottles from the salon was that I always ended up breaking the pump towards the end, and getting the last of the product out was impossible.

Recently though Bed Head changed packaging and it seems like from reviews the product as well. I do know the other shampoo and conditioner I tried by them recently (the urban antidotes resurrection) was very low quality, and cheap. I won't be trying this again.

It's a shame because this was my go to shampoo and conditioner for the longest time.

There are WAY better conditioners/treatments for the price of this. Joico, Kerasilk, S Factor Serious Conditioner are all better than this.

I only used the old formula, and refuse to try the new formula.

Nothing overly bad with this product, but its not that good of a conditioner compared to those on the market for the same price, yet it tries to market itself as the best product for bleached hair.

Try Kerasilk or S Factor Serious Conditioner. K Pak by Joico is also fabulous. These are all the same price and do twice the conditioning work.

I agree with the below review! Why did they change the formula? UGH I hate when companies do this. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. It's not as thick or nice smelling as it was.

This product used to be great, but why'd they have to go ahead and screw around with it? This bottle was purchased at Walmart. It is in a solid white pump bottle. All I have to say is, that if you want your hair to smell like cat piss, go ahead a douse your hair with this garbage. What the hell is making that rancid smell anyways? DISGUSTING. I want my money back, and then some. BLECKKKKKKKKKKKK. Do yourself a favour, and buy something that won't attract all of the stray cats in the neighbourhood. OH, and good luck trying to get the pungent, male-cat spray stench out of your locks. >:(

I bought a tube of this from WalMart for $17.99. It's a clear tube with a silver label and black lettering and you can see the yellow conditioner. I used this 5 years ago on a bad highlight job and it worked wonders. I'm using it again for the same reason but it doesn't seem quite as wonderful as I remember, maybe because my hair is more damaged this time? Then I read reviews where they've changed the formula. Why do people have to futz with what works?

Back to the current review: It smells great and I leave it on for 30 minutes or so. I haven't used the matching shampoo but use my regular Shea Moisture shampoo. Dumb Blonde is still cheaper than Ouidad's Deep Treatment even though it's not quite as good. I have naturally curly hair and the curl pattern has returned to my hair even though my highlighted hair still feels slimy when it's wet.

I absolutely love using this on my blonde, highlighted hair. It doesn't wash the colour out and makes it look vibrant. It isn't sticky, and doesn't leave my hair greasy with residue. It conditions perfectly and reduces the appearance of dryness and split ends and always keeps my hair in great condition. I love all of the products from the Dumb Blonde line at TIGI.

This product used to be amazing. It rescued my hair. I used to buy huge bottles of it (and the shampoo) one after the other, but they have changed the formulation along with the new packaging, and the smell (without saying so).

Tigi have stupidly changed the packaging so that you cant tell which is shampoo and which is conditioner, the packaging is identical other than the word shampoo or conditioner in writing smaller than this. It was much better when one bottle was purple and one was yellow.

Anyway the formulation is now horrible. It left the worst sticky residue on my hair, so much residue that every time I touched my hair I wanted to wash my hands.

I naturally assumed I hadn't washed it out properly, or even that I'd put shampoo and conditioner on the wrong way around (due to the silly packaging!!) so I tried it again, carefully making sure I used them in the right order and that every last bit of my hair was thoroughly rinsed.
Not only did this take ages - it also did not help. Same horrible sticky residue. Same sad faced me.
Now I have 2 huge bottles of this stuff. I tried to give it to my mum but she sharply returned it to me with the comment that she did not wear her reading glasses in the shower and couldn't tell which was shampoo and which was conditioner without them as the writing was so small!!!

The product is a bright yellow colour that you can see at the side of the tube. The conditioner is really thick which I like as there's no waste, none falls on the shower floor. My packaging was a silver shiny tube with black writting. The smell is amazing, like a pineapple/passion fruit exotic summer smell.
The product left my fried bleack blonde hair soft to the touch and less straw like. If you have dry hair I would definetly recommend it, the only issue is the price, it's quite expensive. If you have a conditioner that's cheaper and works just fine for you then stick with it, dumb blonde is not a miracle in a bottle

Got this over a year ago, in the older (yellow bottle) packaging. My hair is not blonde but Im pretty sure it said on the bottle that its for blonde OR color treated/damaged so thats why I got it. Anyways I had the bottle a year and finally finished it recently. I found that it seemed to do a good job, my hair seemed softer and healthier after using and I loved the pineapple smell! I would have repurchased but found with the new packaging that there is now a colour treated red/brown hair version which I decided to get instead.

Doesn't make my hair feel greasy. But I usually only put conditioner on my ends. It left my hair feeling soft. I feel there are other products out there that will make my hair feel similar. So for the cost I don't think it is any thing special.

I use this as a weekly treatment and love how it makes my hair feel. Very soft and silky. The ine I have is is a squeeze tube, not an upright bottle as pictured. I like this better as it easier to get the last bit out.

***You probably shouldn't use this daily, or if you have protein sensitive hair... I'm not sure why they market it as a 'conditioner', because it's really not. It's more of a protein treatment, so if you're not looking to add protein, or your hair doesn't react well with protein (some people's hair gets too dry from it, because they don't need it), then this probably isn't for you. Whenever you put protein in your hair, you need to balance it with the right amount of moisture! So make sure you use a good moisturizing conditioner along with this product ***

I have very bleached hair, it's basically white. Immediately after bleaching, some of my ends were stretchy and elastic a few inches down the length. My hair isn't very long, so I really didn't want to cut the damage off, so I bought this and loaded it up on protein instead. After a few weeks, my ends are no longer stretchy and gummy when wet... this product literally worked wonders on them and saved like 4 inches of my hair. I love the pineapple scent, and I will definately repurchase this. My hair is naturally very VERY fine, and very dry, and very wavy... which basically means my hair has no natural protein whatsoever. This product is perfect for me and what my hair needs. I would recommend this only as a protein treatment, IMO it was comparable to Joico K-Pak. I use this once a week for 25-30 mins as a protein mask, and the rest of the week I use my regular Pantene conditioner for moisture. Great results!

This stuff dries out your hair and like the reviewer noted below it does fry the ends of your hair. Now i'm stuck with big bottles of this junk, guess I will buy something else and just use the Dumb Blonde every once in a while.

This, along with the Dumb Blonde shampoo, is the only shampoo/conditioner set that I have ever been really enthusiastic about. I have used them for about two years. Since I started using this set on my hair, it has grown out to a length that I have never, ever been able to achieve (it has ALWAYS fallen out/broken off once it got past my shoulders). I attribute it to the Dumb Blonde shampoo/conditioner. They are a rich combo, but they work for me. Love them. Oh, and I buy them when I can find them at TJ Maxx or Ross. You can find them at Nordstrom Rack, too, I believe. I don't pay full price.
