I like it but it's not for me. It looks pretty in the shop under those bright lights but you take it home and take pics with it and you get a muted grey purple. I like most bare essentials id eye products but this one is the exception. Unless you have a professional camera and you are going into a bright lit place it doesn't come out right no matter what color you use as a backer color. I gave it a 4 cause once you realize what color you are going to end up with you can then modify how you are going to wear it. It then becomes a great product.

Now I may be in the minority here but I quite like this glimmer. It's not my most favourite colour but it ranks way up there in my books! This has a very intense colour when you open the jar - a very bright violet. When you apply it to your eyelids - unless you play around with the quantities used & the method of application - wet or dry, what you end up with is a much darker colour than what you see in the jar.It tends to be more of a royal purple, rather than violet, with a little more grey undertones.
Now on me with my light - medium complexion & aqua coloured eyes, this colour really works for me & looks great.I can certainly see how others would be turned off though.
Personally I have to recommend it -it's one of my fave glimmers! :_)

This color has magenta shimmer in a blue-violet-black base which looks like a very vibrant violate in the pot, but goes on somewhat grey. It's a lovely color, but I wish it were more violet on the skin, and perhaps more shimmery. It can create a lovely smokey eye look because the base color goes on so dark, but the shimmer that's so apparant in the pot is dulled by the dark, though lovely, grey-violet base. It's a nice color, and I will use it, but it's not quite what I was looking for.

I like this color but I doubt I'd have to buy it again for two reasons. #1 - the product is very concentrated and a little goes a long way and #2 - the pot is huge considering how little you need to achieve a smokey eye look. Though this color looks like a vibrant purple it really is more suitable for a smokey eye because once you apply it, it looks very sooty and almost black. That kind of disappointed me because I hoped it would be a powder version of MAC Infamous paint...but (unfortunately) it isn't as shocking as it appears in the package. Still, I am amused when colors go on differently than they appear, so this still earns points in my book for its complexity. :-)

Emotion is one of the glimmers from BE so its super shimmery. In the pot this looks like a very bright shimmery purple navy shade. Looks almost electric. on this wears more like a black with a hint of blue/purple irrisdescence. Its really quite unique. Looks great as a liner with a smoky eye for a little depth in the color. This comes in a small pot with no sifter so if you drop it, huge mess. this small jar will last forever. Retails for $12.

This is a phenomenal purple. It's an electric blueviolet shimmer with a black base, essentially. I love it! It is fantastic with my coloring. It creases a bit, but otherwise is pretty much perfect. I *love* blackened iridescent colors. I use this both wet as a liner, and also with a sparkly white base to do a smokey eye.

In the pot (the one without a sifter lid - very dangerous), this looks like a deep purple shimmery powder. On my eyes, applied wet as liner, it looks like a soft indigo smudge. This stuff is incredible. Once it's on, it doesn't move until you take it off. I even took a three-hour nap in this and when I woke up, it looked perfect. It doesn't get greasy looking or smear, it just makes the softest line and the color brightens my eyes, which are blue. I've switched from pencils to shadows for lining because I like the softer line shadows make, and these are the best I've tried. Since it's mineral shadow, it doesn't irritate, and it didn't accentuate or settle into my "fine lines" the way some shadows can. It's about $13, but it will last forever since a little goes a long way. If I ever run out of this shade, I will repurchase and I've got a list of more shades I want to try. I haven't used mineral shadows since the 80s and I don't remember them being that impressive, but I'm impressed now. These make me want to try the entire line!
